An Experimental Study on the Similitude Requirements of Reinforced Concrete Structures (철근콘크리트구조물의 상사법칙에 관한 실험적 연구)

  • It is well known that the behavior of R /C members under static cyclic loading is somewhat different from that under dynamic cyclic loading, such as earthquake loading, because static loading rate is substantially lower than that corresponding to the Frequencies of seismic excitation. The purpose of this research is to estabilish the reliance for modeling techniques of small-scale specirr~ens subjected to dynamic cyclic loading. This research focused on the similitude requirements for reinforced concrete frame structures subjeced to dynamic cyclic loading. Length scale ratio of specimens were 1 : 2 : 4, and eleven specimens were tested at the frequencies of 0.0025Hz-2.OHz. It was confirmed that rnode1ir.g techniques based on the similitude requirements were useful methods to evaluate the behavior of full-size R /C structures subjected to earthquake type loading.

Study on noise prediction by classification of noise sources of a tip-jet driven rotor (팁젯 로터의 소음원 구분을 통한 소음 예측 기법 연구)

  • The noise sources of a tip-jet driven rotor can be separated by rotor blade noise and jet noise. The rotor blade noise consists of thickness noise, loading noise, nonlinear quadrupole noise, and jet noise is divided into nozzle momentum noise and jet radiation noise. The flow analysis for the prediction of rotor blade noise is performed by CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) analysis, and the noise source of the rotor blade noise is identified by simultaneously applying the permeable and impermeable surface based FW-H (Ffowcs Williams-Hawkings) acoustic analogy. The nozzle momentum noise is obtained by permeable surface FW-H, and jet radiation noise is predicted by using empirical method for the fixed-wing jet. Both of jet noises use nozzle exit condition for noise analysis. The accuracy of the technique is verified based on the noise measurements of the tip-jet driven rotor, and the unique noise characteristics of the tip-jet driven rotor is confirmed by spectrum analysis.

  • The current study aims to demonstrate the causal relationships of supervisory support, workplace fun, job satisfaction and customer orientation of Y Generational service provider in the Korean hotel industry. In order to achieve the study purpose, the data were collected from 284 hotel employees who were born from 1981 to 2000, which is considered as Generation Y. To analyze the data, frequency, correlation, regression, PROCESS Macro and confirmatory factor analysis were undertaken using SPSS and AMOS version 18.0. The results show as follows: First, factor of workplace fun had a positive influence on job satisfaction and customer orientation. Second, factor of supervisory support had a positive influence on job satisfaction but its effect on the customer orientation was not significant. Third, job satisfaction had a significantly positive effect on customer orientation. Lastly, job satisfaction was revealed as a significant mediator between dependent variables(supervisory support and workplace fun) and customer orientation. Eventually, this study found that the more workplace fun and job satisfaction employees have, the higher customer orientation they show. Supervisory support was revealed as an indirect factor to enhance customer orientation through job satisfaction.

A Study on Quality Management Activities and Employee Trusts in Small Venture Companies (중소벤처기업의 품질경영활동과 조직원 신뢰 간의 관계에 관한 연구)

  • In this article, we try to study the relationship among quality management activities, employee trust, and employee satisfaction in small venture companies in Korea. Based on the previous studies, we build a couple of hypotheses about communication, process management, business policies, innovative changes, employee trust and employee satisfaction. From our empirical study, we find that communication and innovative changes have an positive effect on employee trust. Also, employee satisfaction is positively influenced by employee trust. Our study provides the following implications for organization management. First, for employee satisfaction, in an organization, it is very important to build employee trust among higher managements, firms, business processes, evaluations, and employees. Second, in order to build employee trust, besides establishing clear management policy and managing business processes, our study shows that improving communications among employees and customers and having continuos innovative changes such as improving current business processes, problem solving, establishing standards and maintaining high productions are important.

  • In this article, we try to study the relationship among quality management activities, employee trusts, and employee satisfactions in small venture companies in Korea. Based on the previous studies, we build a couple of hypotheses about communication, process management, business policies, innovative changes, employee trust and employee satisfaction. From our empirical study, we find that communication and innovative changes have an positive effect on employee trust. Also, employee satisfaction is positively influenced by employee trust. Our study provides the following implications for organization management. Path analysis of the Influence of Hospital Ethical Climate Perceived by Nurses on Supervisor Trust and Organizational Effectiveness (간호사가 인식하는 병원윤리풍토가 상사신뢰와 조직유효성에 미치는 영향에 대한 경로분석)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze the paths of influence that a hospital's ethical climate exerts on nurses' organizational commitment and organizational citizenship behavior, with supervisor trust as the mediating factor, and verify compatibility of the models in hospital nurses. Methods: The sample consisted of 374 nurses recruited from four hospitals in 3 cities in Korea. The measurements included the Ethical Climate Questionnaire, Supervisor Trust Questionnaire, Organizational Commitment Questionnaire and Organizational Citizenship Behavior Questionnaire. Ethical Climate Questionnaire consisted of 6 factors; benevolence, personal morality, company rules and procedures, laws and professional codes, self-interest and efficiency. Data were analysed using SPSS version 18.0 and AMOS version 18.0. Results: Supervisor trust was explained by benevolence and self-interest (29.8%). Organizational commitment was explained by benevolence, supervisor trust, personal morality, and rules and procedures (40.4%). Organizational citizenship behavior was explained by supervisor trust, laws and codes, and benevolence (21.8%). Conclusion: Findings indicate that managers need to develop a positive hospital ethical climate in order to improve nurses' trust in supervisors, organizational commitment and organizational citizenship behavior.

  • 본 연구는 항공 종사자를 대상으로 조직갈등에 대한 구성원의 이직의도를 파악하였다. 설문 대상은 아시아나항공, 대한항공, LCC로 부산 김해국내/국제공항과 서울 김포공항, 인천 국제공항 내에서 주로 예약발권, 탑승수속, 출도착, 카운터 등의 업무를 담당하는 지상직원이고, 2018년 8월20일~2016년 10월 16일 동안 400부의 설문이 진행되었고 그 중 회수되지 않거나 응답이 불성실한 설문지를 제외하고 총 227부를 최종분석에 이용하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 22을 이용하여 신뢰도 분석과 상관관계를 이용하였고, AMOS 18을이용하여 확인적 요인분석, 측정모델 분석 및 제안모델 분석 등을 검정하였고, 추가로 대안모델 개발을 하였다. 분석을 위해 SPSS 18과 AMOS 18을 이용하였고, 신뢰도 분석을 위해Crombach's Alpha와 변수 간의 인과관계 파악을 위해 측정변수모델(SEM)을 이용하였으며, 추가분석으로 갈등(역할갈등, 상사부하간갈등)과 이직의도간의 관계에서 셀프리더십의매개효과를 검정하였다. 본 연구에서 설정된 가설은 총 4개로 연구결과를 기초로 결론과 시사점, 그리고 본 연구의 한계점과 향후 연구의 방향을 제시하고자한다.

Similitude Law on Material Non-linearity for Seismic Performance Evaluation of RC Columns (RC기둥의 내진성능평가를 위한 재료비선형 상사법칙)

  • This paper discusses a series of experiments including material improvement in order to ensure quality of grouting for the post-tensioned structure. In prestressed concrete, grouting refers to the construction procedure of filling empty space of duct enclosing with strands using cementitious material, To date, adequate quality control of the grouting has not been established in Korea because the relationship between the grouting and durability of post-tensioned structure is not well-recognized. The Korean standard does not consider the important material characteristic, wick effect, which is caused by strands in the ducts and current standard testing method unlikely quantify reasonable material segregation. As a result, the grout material, which meets the current material standards, may exhibit excessive bleeding water or shrinkage during construction. In this study, international codes and standards related to grouting were surveyed. The ratio of constituents and novel admixtures were suggested to meet equivalently with these standards. Performance of this enhanced grout was compared to common domestic grout using the international standard testing method. A series of mock-up specimens considering geometry of PC beam was constructed and grout flow pattern was observed as the grout was injected. It was observed that the grouting performance was highly influenced by material properties and filling characteristic can be varied depending on geometry of ducts.

The Effects of Transformational Leadership on Job Satisfaction and Job Performance: Focused on Deluxe Hotel Culinary Staff (변혁적 리더십이 직무만족 및 직무성과에 미치는 영향 - 특급호텔 조리사를 중심으로 -)

  • This study presented a theoretical research system about the impact of boss' transformational leadership that is recognized by super luxury hotel chefs on their job satisfaction and performance, and on the basis of this theoretical background, the model was derived and the hypothesis was confirmed by empirical research. A frequency analysis was conducted to determine the general characteristics of the 245 samples collected in this study, an exploratory factor analysis for the verification of the validity of boss' transformational leadership, employees' job satisfaction and job performance, and 'Cronbach's a' was used for the verification of reliability. In addition, a canonical correlation analysis was used to determine the relationship between transformational leadership, job satisfaction and job performance, and the influencing relations of variables were verified by running a multiple regression analysis through SPSS ver 18.0 statistical package in order to verify this research model and hypothesis. The results of this study can be summarized as follows: First, it was shown that the transformational leadership charisma (p<0.01) and only the individual concern (p<0.1) had a positive influence on job satisfaction. Second, as a result of understanding the impact of the transformational leadership on the job performance through a regression coefficient, it was shown that only boss' intellectual stimulation had an impact on the chef's job performance (p<0.005). Through the results of an empirical analysis that boss' transformational leadership had a correlation and a significant impact on job satisfaction and job performance, the effort of providing the systematic support and motivational aspects of supporting environment will be needed.

  • 본 논문은 기존의 가중 메디안 필터에 음의 가중치를 갖는 recursive weighted median(RWM) 필터 구조를 소개하고자 한다. 이는 연산과정에 퍼지 클러스터를 적용하여 또 다른 구조의 RWM 필터를 제안하였다. 제안된 RWM 필터는 infinte impulse response(IIR) 선형 필터의 부류로 상사되는 것으로서 기존의 선형 IIR 필터와는 달리 강건한 대역 또는 고역통과 필터의 특성 뿐만 아니라 피드백 되어진 계수 값에 상관없이 항상 BIBO 시스템에서의 안정성과 잡음에 강건한 특성을 나타낸다. 특히 퍼지 클러스터를 적용하여 중앙값 주변의 값을 적절히 취함으로서 신뢰성과 보다 빠른 연산속도의 성능을 여러 다른 구조의 필터들과 성능 비교 실험을 통해 입증하였다.
