  • This research is a technology for cutting the insulation of the busbar (busbar) installed in the distribution panel or switchboard, the results of the study, first, the cutting unit and frame of the cutting unit including a housing attached to the upper and lower cutters, respectively Busbar coating laser cutting machine is installed on the top, characterized by consisting of a stopper for adjusting the coating cutting distance of the busbar. Second, the frame is installed with the guide bar in the longitudinal direction at the top so as to be located at the rear side end of the table, the post is installed vertically at the front and rear at the upper middle part, respectively, and cut to the table at the outer side of the front post. It is characterized by the formation of holes. Third, the supporter is fixedly installed on the upper part of the guide bar arranged in the frame, and is characterized by consisting of a cylinder and a support plate. The meaning of this study is to prevent the safety accidents of workers, to improve the efficiency of cutting work, and to prevent the occurrence of scratches on the surface of the busbar.

  • In this study, the stability of low crested structure armoured by rock has been investigated using two-dimensional hydraulic model tests. The effect of wave steepness and freeboard on the rock stability on crest, front, and the rear slope has been investigated. Rocks were mostly damaged near the upper part of the seaward slope and the crest of the seaward side. From the experimental data, the new empirical formula for the stability coefficients of the rocks was proposed.

  • In 1980's, the concrete bridge decks were constructed with 4cm wearing surface layer instead of asphalt concrete overlays. After about 15 year service periods, deteriorations were appeared on the surfaces of highway bridge decks. Various field NDTs and lab tests were done to analysis the cause of the deterioration on the concrete deck surface. The main cause was the corrosion of rebars with thinner concrete top cover than the design value. The rebars with thinner concrete top cover was earlier corroded by penetrated chloride ions. If the appropriate top cover could be achieved, the bare concrete bridge decks can be used without earlier deteriorations.

  • Physical experiments have been performed in a wave basin to investigate change of the wave loading on the crown wall under obliquely incident wave conditions. The measurement was carried out with wave incidence angle of 0, 15, 30 and 45°. The pressure transducers were placed on the front and bottom face of the crown wall to obtain horizontal and uplift force as well. It was found that both the horizontal and vertical force decreases with the incidence angle. Based on the analysis of the experimental data, a formula was suggested to estimate the reduction rate of horizontal and vertical forces under obliquely incident waves.

  • Destructive examination of 14$\times$14 PWR fuel burned for 3 cycles are carried out to investigate the in-reactor fuel performance. The results obtained are as follows; 1) Grain growth is not occured at the fuel center. 2) Fuel density is decreased as the turnup increase, the density is down to 94.4% TD at burnup of 36,000 MWD/MTU. 3) Average thickness of oxide layer on cladding is less than 10 $\mu$m in the lower and middle section, while it is rapidly increased above 20 $\mu$m in the upper section. 4) The rate of hydride production in the cladding is large in the upper section than lower section and is related to the production of oxide on the cladding

  • It is necessary to obtain a fire resistance certification in order to use Fire Protection Coating in Korea. According to the fire test standards, columns have four heating sides and beams have three. In comparison with columns which are heated four sides equally, beams have three exposed sides and one unexposed up side. So the question arises as to there were the differences between the temperature of up side and others of beams in fire test. The purpose of this study is to consider the positions of thermocouples for beams through a comparative analysis of the temperature data obtained from fire certification tests.

  • The need to synchronize flowering in two lines of different maturities is frequently encountered in hybrid com (Zea mays L.) seed production. To establish the methods for synchrony of flowering in parent lines of different maturities be effects of clipping at 4 and 6-leaf stages of growth and two levels, clear polyethylene mulching and five different planting dates on flowering date growth and seed yield of two dent com inbred lines of different maturities were evaluated Clipping just above the shoot-apex delayed pollen sheeding 6 to 9days and silking 5 to 13 days but reduced stand and seed yield 30 to 70% and 67 to 81%. respectively. Clipping 5cm above the shoot apex delayed flowering 1 to 4 days without stand reduction but reduced yield 3 to 29%. Laterclipping was slightly more effective for delaying flowering than earlier clipping but reduced stand more severely when clipped just above the shoot apex. Under clear polyethylene film mulching, flowering of two lines was 13 to 15 days earlier and seed yield of B68 (late line) was significantly increased. As planting was delayed from April 18 to June 13, the number of days from planting to flowering of two lines decreased due to increase in air temperature. However, growing degree days (GDD) from planting to flowering of each lines was similar regardless planting dates indicating that GDD can be satisfactoryly used for choosing the planting dates of parent lines of different maturities. Seed yields of two lines were decreased with delaying planting dates.

  • Low crested coastal structures such as detached breakwaters and submerged breakwaters (artificial reefs) have been commonly used as coastal protection measures. The armour units of these structures are unstable than those in non-overtopped structure cases. The stability of low crested structures armoured by rock has been suggested in existing studies. In this study, the stability of Tetrapods armour units on theses structures has been investigated using two-dimensional hydraulic model tests. The effect of wave steepness and freeboard on the armour stability on crest, front, and the rear slope has been investigated. Armour units were mostly damaged near the upper part of the seaward slope and the crest of the seaward side. From the experimental data, the new empirical formula for the stability coefficients of the Tetrapods was proposed.

  • Constructions of buildings downtown are increasing as much as ever with a strong demand. Top-Down Method is suitable for its advantage in minimizing its disturbance to the neighborhood. Pre-founded when applied to CFT Column on-site welded is required for splicing. To complement the welded built-up square composite Column was developed. Top-down process will be pouring concrete in accordance with a step-by-step process. Thus, Pre-founded Column and cover concrete to determine the stress condition. Therefore, Concrete filled steel square tubular columns encased with precast concrete were studied. Five Centrally loaded Columns were tested to investigate the axial load carrying capacity. we analyzed the strength and behavior of CET Column by Loading conditions and concrete strength, thickness of cover concrete through structure experiments.

  • In this study, the correlation between the influencing factors on corrosion and Half Cell Potential(HCP) measurement was analyzed considering the three levels of W/C ratio, cover depth, and chloride concentration. The HCP increased with enlarged cover depth, so it was confirmed that the increment of cover depth was effective for control of corrosion. Based on the criteria, the case of 60mm cover depth showed excellent corrosion control with under -200mV, indicating increase of cover depth is an effective method for reducing intrusion of external deterioration factors. When fresh water was injected to the upper part of specimens, very low level of HCP was monitored, but in the case that concentrations of chloride were 3.5% and 7.0%, HCP dropped under -200mV. In addition, the case with high volume of unit binder showed lower HCP measurement like increasing cover depth. Multiple regression analysis was performed to evaluate the correlation between the corrosive influence factors and HCP results, showing high coefficient of determination of 0.97. However, there were limitations such as limited number of samples and measuring period. Through the additional corrosion monitoring and chloride content evaluation after dismantling the specimen, more reasonable prediction can be achieved for correlation analysis with relevant data.
