삼성전자가 본격적인 디지털 녹화 시대 개막을 알리는 램(RAM)방식의 DVD레코더(모델명:DVD-R5000)를 국내에 출시한다. 삼성전자가 이번에 출시하는 램(RAM)방식의 레코더는 PC를 기반으로 하고 있기 때문에 녹화와 재생 등이 타 방식보다 빠르다는 것이 가장 큰 특징이다. 즉 디스크에 기록된 영상과 음성등을 가장 빨리 찾고, 재생할 수 있다는 점이다.

본 논문에서는 차세대 비디오 압축 표준인 MPEG-5 Essential Video Coding (EVC) 에서 사용된 블록 분할 방식에 대해서 소개한다. EVC 에서 사용된 블록 분할 방식은 기존 비디오 압축 표준인 HEVC/H.265 에서 사용된 쿼드 트리(Quad-tree)가 아닌 이진 분할(Binary split)과 삼진 분할(Ternary split)을 사용한 Binary ternary tree(BTT) 기술을 사용하고 있다. 또한 기존 비디오 압축 기술과 달리 분할된 블록의 코딩 순서를 정해서 사용 할 수 있는 Split unit coding order (SUCO) 기술이 사용되고 있다.

현재 선박관제시스템에서는 관제정보들을 관제사가 직접 수기로 작성하여 관리하고 있다. 그 과정에서 관제사들은 번거로움을 느끼고 부정확한 정보 전달을 유발하기도 한다. 이에 본 논문은 관제사들이 구두로 녹음한 내용을 자동으로 문자로 저장하고, 저장된 선박 정보를 다시 음성 및 문자로 확인해볼 수 있는 시스템을 구현한다. 본 논문을 통해 관제사들이 보다 편리하고 정확하게 관제 정보를 관리할 수 있기를 기대한다.

본 논문에서는 사용자 편의를 고려하여 개인 콘텐트를 공유할 수 있는 푸쉬형 (Push Type)의 디스플레이를 제안하였다. 기존의 Web 기술과 UPnP (Universal Plug and Play)를 확장하여 브로드밴드상의 디바이스에 콘텐트를 Push 하거나 디바이스를 직접 제어 가능하게 하는 WPnP (Wideband Plug and Play)를 제안하였다. 또한, 서버에서 각 디바이스 별 메타데이터를 관리함으로써 사용자간의 콘텐트 공유를 쉽게 할 수 있었다. 제안된 설계는 직접 시스템에 구현하였다.

Clay-shoveler's fractures are rare stress-type avulsion fractures of the spinous processes especially in sports. There have been two case reports that discussed clay-shoveler's fractures in golf. A 36-year-old beginner golfer presented with a pain in the back after practicing golf swing. No fractures were detected using cervical radiography; however, computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) revealed T2~T3 spinous process fractures. The patient was treated conservatively and his pain subsided. The mechanism of injury is speculated to that of clay-shoveler's fractures. Therefore, if a golfer suffers persistent pain in the cervicothoracic region, clay-shoveler's fracture is one possibility to consider.

목적 지향 대화 시스템은 사용자가 원하는 목적을 달성하기 위해 사용하는 시스템으로 일상 대화와 다르게 시스템이 정보를 명확히 전달하는 것이 중요하다. 따라서 최근 연구에서 목적 지향 대화 시스템을 위한 자연어 생성 모델은 정해진 대화 정책에 따라 알맞은 응답을 생성할 수 있도록 의도와 슬롯 정보를 담은 대화 행위(Dialog Act)를 활용한다. 하지만 대화 행위는 생성하는 문장을 탁월하게 제어하는 반면에 대화의 흐름과 상황에 맞게 다양한 문장을 생성하기 어렵다는 문제점을 가지고 있다. 이러한 문제점을 해소하고자 본 논문에서는 목적에 부합하는 내용을 명확하게 자연어로 생성하기 위해 대화 행위를 사용하면서 동시에 일상 대화 생성 모델과 같이 문맥을 고려하여 대화 흐름에 어울리는 자연스러운 문장을 생성할 수 있는 문맥 기반의 제어 가능한 자연어 생성 모델을 제안한다. 실험에서는 KoGPT2 사전 학습 모델과 한국어 대화 데이터셋을 사용하였으며 실험을 통해 대화 행위 기반의 자연어 생성 모델과 본 연구에서 제안한 문맥 기반의 제어 가능한 자연어 생성 모델을 비교하였다. 결과적으로 대화 행위를 단독으로 학습한 모델보다 일정 문맥을 함께 학습한 모델이 유의미한 BLEU 점수 향상을 보인다는 점을 확인하였다.

Purpose: The study was aimed to investigate the effects of warm fluid used during surgery on the patients' hypothermia prophylaxis and recovery after surgery. Methods: This data were collected from Jul. 13 to Nov. 31. 2009 at S hospital in M City. 60 patients who met the selection criteria were recruited in the study and divided into two groups. The warmed fluids were used for 30 patients in the experimental group, and the fluids in room air temperature were used for the others in the control group. Collected data were statistically analyzed using SPSS/win 18.0. Results: The body temperatures of the control group were significantly lower during surgery than those of the experimental group (p<.001). Shivering was significantly less occurred in the experimental group than the control group (p=.018). The experimental group used warmed fluids recovered faster than the control group. Conclusion: Warming fluid for the patients with general anesthesia was revealed to be effective in decreasing hypothermia during surgery, reducing shivering, helping recovery from the anesthesia. Further research is warranted to refine and apply this evidence in nursing practice.

Purpose: This study aimed to confirm the mediating effect of job involvement in the relationship between grit and turnover intention among nurses working at university hospitals. Methods: Participants included 437 nurses from university hospitals located in C city, Gyeongnam. Data were collected from January 8 to 19, 2018, using self-report questionnaires. Data were analyzed using the t-test, analysis of variance, Scheffe's test, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple regression, with the SPSS/22.0 program. A mediation analysis was performed according to the Baron and Kenny, and bootstrapping methods. Results: There were significant relationships between grit and job involvement (r=.40, p<.001), grit and turnover intention (r=-.29, p<.001), and turnover intention and job involvement (r=-.52, p<.001). Job involvement showed partial mediating effects in the relationship between grit and turnover intention. Conclusion: Grit increased job involvement and lowered turnover intention. Therefore, to reduce nurses' turnover intention, it is necessary to develop a program and strategies to increase their grit.

Objectives This study aims to assess the status quo of depression among Korean physicians and identify stressors and psychiatric assets related to it. Methods The questionnaire was designed to assess depression, stressors, burnout and psychiatric assets. 343 physicians were included in the analyses. Results Physician depression in Korea was found to be related to several daily life stressors and occupational stressors. It was also related to higher burnout and lower psychological assets. Physicians who reported workplace problems, familial problems, and mannerism were at higher risk of depression while who reported passion (in psychiatric assets) were at lower risk of depression. Conclusions This study identified factors affecting physician depression in Korea. Further research would benefit physicians and their patients by identifying and testing various, including personal and organizational, intervention methods.
