21세기 디지털 사회에서는 각 개인의 연결과 상호작용이 사회 현상에 막대한 영향을 미치고 있으며, 이로 인해 사회는 더욱 복잡해지고, 순간적으로 급격한 변화가 일어나는 현상이 빈번히 발생한다. 사회 복잡성(Social Complexity)은 다수의 사회 구성원들 간의 복잡한 연결로 인해 발생하는 상호작용 패턴을 의미한다. 2011년 발생한 '아랍의 봄' 혁명, 글로벌 금융위기, 조류독감의 발생과 확산, 글로벌 기후 변화, 테러리스트들의 네트워크와 사이버 범죄의 증가 등은 복잡하게 연결된 글로벌 사회 현상으로 발생하는 복잡성의 사례들이다. 우리 사회의 안전성과 지속성을 확보하기 위해, 이러한 사회 복잡성을 그려내어, 그 속에 숨겨진 패턴을 분석하고 예측하는 기술에 대한 연구 개발이 국가적으로 필요하다. 다양한 분야의 사회적 모형을 개발하고 서로 연결하여, 복잡한 사회적 상호작용을 대규모 시뮬레이션을 통해 현상 분석과 사회경제 정책적 대응방향에 대한 통찰력을 가질 수 있는 대규모 '모사현실(Simulated Reality)' 기술 개발을 서둘러야 한다.

인터넷 기술의 발달로 인해 온라인상에서도 사회연결망이 나타나고 있다. 블로그 월드는 대표적인 온라인 사회연결망이다. 블로그 월드의 구성원인 블로거는 정보를 생성할 수도 있고, 정보를 얻기 위하여 다른 블로거와 명시적 관계를 맺을 수도 있으며, 이러한 관계를 통해 온라인 사회연결망인 블로그연결망을 구성한다. 사회 연결망 이론에서는 사회 연결망에서 정보의 파급이 구성원간의 관계를 통하여 이루어진다고 한다. 그러나 블로그 연결망과 실제 블로그 월드에서 발생한 정보 파급 이력을 비교 관찰해 보면, 사회연결망 이론과 달리 관계가 존재하지 않는 구성원 사이에서 정보 파급이 일어난다. 또한, 정보의 파급이 폭발적으로 일어나는 현상도 존재한다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 두 현상이 서로 연관이 있음을 밝히고, 이러한 현상을 일으키는 원인을 규명하는 분석방법을 제안한다. 제안하는 분석방법은 다음과 같다. 우선, 관계가 존재하지 않는 구성원 간에 정보 파급 현상을 유발할 수 있는 후보원인들을 모두 도출한다. 다음으로, 폭발적인 정보 파급 현상을 보이는 정보의 집단을 데이터 마이닝의 클러스터링 기술을 이용하여 도출한다. 도출된 정보의 집단과 후보 원인간의 상관관계를 데이터 마이닝의 특성분석 방법을 이용하여 구한다. 블로그 월드는 구성원과 그 사이의 관계, 정보 파급 이력에 대한 데이터를 모두 저장하고 있다. 본 논문은 실제 블로그 월드의 데이터를 이용하여 블로그 월드에서 정보의 폭발적 파급을 유발하는 원인들을 규명하고 그 원인들이 가지는 특징을 설명하였다.

The purpose of this study is to discover the context and pattern of turnover social workers have experienced. To achieve this purpose, researchers collected data from in-depth interviews with seven social workers who have experiences of turnover and analysed the data using context-pattern analysis method. Research findings are composed of individual context-pattern analysis and integrated context-pattern analysis. In individual context-pattern analysis, researchers mixed time-dimension(before turnover/on the process/after turnover) and level-dimension(experienced phenomenon/meaning of experiences/context connected with phenomenon and meaning) and analysed the context of every stages and serial pattern. Also, we connected with each contexts and patterns and integrated the context-pattern of turnover. Integrated context-pattern structure is divided for four areas; organization before turnover, organization after turnover, social worker as a stakeholder of turnover, and network of social worker. Based on the results of the study, administrative recommendations were suggested in order to manage the turnover of social workers in social work fields.

Recently, the number of 'single-person household' is increasing rapidly. It brings about changes in the societal cultural aspect. Examples of television programs focused on their lifestyle provoked the societal attention as a important social agenda. This research investigated to figure out inherent ideologies in of tvN through Semiotic and Discourse analyses. As a result, predominant ideologies were revealed on the basis of representations of such single-person households. The authors also tried to find out how the media represent attitudes of single-person households and figure out how the media approach their ways of lives on bases of specific discourses and ideologies.

현대사회는 새로운 문화가 끊임없이 생성되고 사라지는 현상이 반복되는 가운데 다양한 문화가 동시에 공존하고 있으며 서로의 문화를 존중하고 인정하면서 각자의 문화를 발전시켜가고 있다. 이러한 사회적 분위기에서 남성들의 문화도 과거와는 다른 양상을 보여 사회적 활동 외에 다양한 문화적 활동에 적극적으로 참여하고 있다. 특히, 최근에는 과거에 여성의 전유물이라고 여겨져 왔던 패션이나 외모, 피부관리, 화장 등에 대한 남성들의 관심이 증가하고 있으며 이러한 현상에 대한 사회적 인식 또한 달라지고 있다. (중략)

A handwritten poster named "How are you, really?" appeared on December 10, 2013. And other handwritten posters sympathizing with it followed in places and are on everyone's lips hotly through internet and SNS. Such a social phenomenon is delivered to readers as a form of article in different meanings according to the viewpoint of each press. It is also delivered to readers as a material for delivering a meaning of a specific case in four panel comics strips and satirical cartoon of newspaper. This is because that comic strips of the press are now having a power to enlighten readers on the key point of a case easily and intuitively together with catharsis from the position of meditating the world. Notwithstanding differences depending on the viewpoints of the press or cartoonist, four panel comics strips and satirical cartoon on the newspaper are fulfilling their social role having their own voice. Of the genres of comic strips, social role of the comics of the press can be divided largely into two things. First, they actively intervene in social phenomena. In other words, comics of the press make their position and insistence on social phenomena clearly by exaggeration and emphasis. Second, they persuade or enlighten readers by concrete directions, which means that comics of the press make reader with similar viewpoint emphasize by delivering a clear message. This study aims to assert that comic strips are the most important medium with social role and responsibility. As part of studies on the social role of comics, this study wish that comic strips can be able to deviate from vicious circle of being socially condemned for reason of negative portion.

초대 이승만 대통령으로부터 제18대 박근혜 대통령 취임사를 네트워크 기반으로 분석하였다. 연합뉴스에서 제공하는 데이터베이스는 역대 대통령 취임사 단어구름으로 보여줌으로써 키워드를 파악할 수 있도록 하였다. 이 경우 특정 단어의 등장 횟수에 비례하여 중심 단어를 찾아주기 때문에 취임사 전체에 흐르는 문맥이나 대통령의 의중을 반영하지 못한다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위하여 본 연구에서 18개 대통령 취임사에 등장하는 키워드 네트워크를 구축하였다. 네트워크상에서 허브(hub)에 해당하는 단어를 연결하면 대통령의 의도나 통치 방향을 파악할 수 있다. 대한민국의 18개 대통령 취임사는 네트워크의 동적 변화를 분석할 수 있는 좋은 자료다. 초대 취임사 네트워크에 두 번째 취임사 네트워크를 추가하여 점진적으로 확장되는 네트워크를 구축하여 동적변화를 분석하였다. 네트워크 동적 분석 결과는 시대의 흐름에 따른 대통령 통치 방향과 변화가 담겨져 있기에 대한민국 현대사 흐름을 파악하는데 기여하는 것으로 나타났다. 이제 복잡계를 이해하는 방법의 하나인 네트워크에 관한 연구는 사회현상, 자연현상, 생명현상을 넘어서 대통령 취임사에 이르기까지 다양한 영역에 함축된 복잡한 현상을 이해하려는 시도에 방법론적 실마리를 제공하고 있다.

최근 정보 및 산업사회의 발달에 따라 전기에너지의 이용이 양적, 수적으로 증가되고 있는 가운데 모든 전기.전자기기 및 전력설비에 전기에너지를 전달하는 전력선로상에서 불요전기신호에 의한 전원방해현상이 발생되는 경우가 빈번해 지고 있다. 따라서 기기의 정상적인 동작에 장애를 주는 증 PLD현상이 심각해지고 있는 실정이다. 그러므로 PLD현상파악 및 이에 대한 방지대책의 수립은 EMI/EMC문제의 가장 기본적이라고 할 수 있다. 먼저 PLD에 대한 실태조사가 뒤따라야 할 것이다. 또는 국내 여러지역을 전력수요가별로 구분하여 PLD현상을 측정할 필요가 있다. 그리고 측정된 데이터의 분석에 의해 각종 전기.전자기기 등의 효율적 운용을 보장하기 위해서는 PLD현상에 대한 대책을 법적규제의 측면과 잡음대책방안의 측면에서 제시해야 할 것이다.

The purpose of this study is to explain why the social phenomenon of the wisdom of the crowd does not empirically apply. The motivation of this study is to explain the Korean social issue: the Tablo incident. In this study, 50 university students participated in the experiments to assess the impact of social media on the wisdom of crowds effect. We find evidence of a positive wisdom of crowds effect, when respondents are less exposed to media. In contrast, the collective information seems to be negatively distorted by respondents highly exposed to media. This research has strong implication for education policy and theories of social interaction.
