  • 5월 31일 전국 동시지방선거를 앞두고 월간 Social Worker에서는 지난 11월부터 사회복지정치세력의 필요성과 가능성을 제안하고 사회복지사 출신 정치지도자들을 소개한 바 있다. 이어 이번 호부터는 사회복지정치지도자들의 이야기를 통해 사회복지사들의 정치세력화를 위한 우리의 과제에 대해 들어보았다. 그 첫호로 지난 1월 24일 고경화 국회의원, 김태선 지방의원을 차례로 만나보았다. 사회복지사로서, 어느 누구보다도 사회복지사와 사회복지계에 열정을 가지고 있는 두 의원의 이야기를 통해 사회복지정치세력화에 힘을 싣고자 한다.

휴먼에러의 선행요인에 관한 탐색적 연구: 기관사와 관제사의 사회심리변인 상관관계분석

  • 기관사와 관제사는 일상적 교번근무의 제도적 틀과 사고 및 장애발생의 가능성을 늘 염려하면서 주어진 과업을 수행해나가고 있다. 최근 철도분야의 휴먼에러에 대한 사회적 관심이 높아지면서 휴먼에러 유발의 원인과 해소방안에 대한 연구관심도 더불어 증대되고 있다. 그 동안 기관사를 대상으로 한 연구가 주류를 이루고 있는 가운데 관제사에 대한 접근은 거의 이루어지지 않았다. 그러나 관제사 또한 안전업무종사자의 일원으로 이들의 과업수행은 휴먼에러와 깊은 관련성이 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 안전업무종사자인 기관사와 관제사의 휴먼에러 및 그 선행요인과 후행요인을 탐색적으로 밝히되 사회심리변인들의 상관관계분석 결과를 토대로 두 직종을 비교관점에서 접근함으로써 좀 더 의미있는 결과를 도출하는데 주력했다.

Influential Factors for the Turnover of Social Workers: Focusing on Comparisons between Social Workers and Others (사회복지사 이직 의사 영향 요인: 사회복지사와 비사회복지사의 비교를 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study was to explore the institutional protection scheme to identify the factors influence physician turnover of social workers. The main reference comes from the 2014 research on wages and work conditions of Korea Institute for Health and Social Affairs. The result of the analysis shows that 33.7% of the social workers intend to change jobs and that the possibilities of changing jobs have factors in gender, age, education levels, job satisfaction, wage, and contractual factors. This result shows that in order to enhance support of underprivileged, the treatment of social workers needs to be improved. This research proposes settings of switching job position system through facility M&A and institutional development.

A Study on the Family Discourses in Social Workers (사회복지사의 "가족" 담론 연구)

  • This study is about family discourses of social workers in Korea. The purpose of this study is to gain suggestions of relatedness between discourse and practice by grasping the contents and meaning of discourses in social workers. 10 social workers in various fields were interviewed for this study. The results are followed: First, social workers understand family as a private space which have a meaning of shelter and refuge. Second, there are gaps between consciousness and practice of division of gender role in family. But social workers generally are inclined toward receiving division of gender role in family and applied to their family practice. Third, monolithic family image have a tendency of versatility in family structure, is inclined toward the division of gender role and myth of motherhood. Fourth, social workers perceived emotional tie as important nature of family solidarity and family as natural institution. Also these discourses of social workers were applied to their family practice. The results of this study reveals possibility that social work practice can be discoursive practice or interpretive practice.

Effectiveness of Self-Empowerment Program for Social Workers : Focusing on the Mental Health Social Workers' Self Concept and Clients' Evaluation of Social Workers (사회복지사 셀프-임파워먼트 프로그램의 효과 : 정신보건사회복지사의 자아개념 및 클라이언트의 평가를 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study was to introduce Self-Empowerment Program focusing on empowering social workers in individual level and to evaluate effectiveness of the program through practicing it. For the purpose, this study reviewed the concept of self-empowerment, theoretical background and content of the program. It examined effects of the program on mental health social workers' self concepts and clients' evaluation of the social workers, also. Through applying the program and analysing it, some significant differences were found in total positive self, self identity, self satisfaction, self behavior, moral ethical self, personal self, and family self score between intervention group and control group after the program. In evaluation of the social workers by the clients, the score of social workers in intervention group was increased after the program than control group's. These findings suggested that this program be helpful for social workers' self-empowerment and relationship with clients. It is meaningful to prove utility of the program in our social work situation with limited training or growing opportunities for social workers.
