Development of Formative Assessment Program in Geometry Area for the 1st Graders of Middle School (중학교 1학년 기하 영역 형성평가 프로그램 개발 및 효과 분석)

  • The purposes of this study are to develop the formative assessment program in geometry area for a 1st-grade class of middle school and to test the effect of this program. This formative assessment program was based on mathematics curriculum for the 1st graders of middle school. In addition, we examined how the 1st graders of middle school understand the geometric concepts by analyzing their response in the pretest and the posttest. This formative assessment program and the results of its analysis would be the useful information for the effective teaching and learning in geometry area for the 1st grades of middle school.

The Effects of Science Activity Program Operation on Science Culture Literacy and Core Competence Growth for Pre-Service Teacher (과학 체험 프로그램 운영이 예비교사의 과학문화소양 및 핵심역량 성장에 미치는 영향)

  • This study investigates the effects of the operation of science activity program on scientific literacy focusing on science cultural literacy and core competencies for pre-service teachers. 255 pre-service teachers of K University participated, and the effects of the program were examined through a paired-sample t-test with one group pretest-posttest design for science cultural literacy. Only the post-test was conducted on core competency growth perception, and differences in growth perceptions by competency were compared using ANOVA. As a result of the study, the average of pre-service teachers was higher than the pre-test for science culture literacy, and this difference was statistically significant (p<.05). In the core competency growth perception, 70.6% of pre-service teachers reported growth in scientific communication ability, and as a result of the post-hoc test using LSD, it shows statistically significant growth compared to other competencies (p<.05). Through this, it was possible to confirm the educational value of the science activity program as a way to develop pre-service teachers' scientific literacy.

  • Many organizations operate security systems and manage them using the intergrated secutity management (ISM) dechnology to secyre their network environment effectively. But current ISM is passive and behaves post-event manner. To reduce cost and resource for managing security and to remove possbility of succeeding in attacks by intruder, the perventive security management technology is required. In this paper, we propose PRISM model that performs preventative security management with evaluating the security level of host or network and the sensitivity level of information asset from potential risks before security incidents occur. The PRISM can give concrete and effective security management in managing the current complex networks.

The Influence of Objective and Subjective Evaluations about Peers′ Relative Competency on Children′s Problem Solving Performance (또래의 상대적 능력에 대한 객관적, 주관적 평가가 아동의 과제 해결 능력에 미치는 영향)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 아동이 또래와 함께 과제를 풀어 나가는 과정에서, 상호작용하는 아동들의 객관적인 상대적 능력과 주관적인 상대적 능력을 고려하여 이들이 아동의 과제해결능력에 어떠한 영향을 주는지를 알아보고자 하는 것이었다. 구체적으로 본 연구에서는 대상 아동이 자신보다 우수하거나 열등한 아동과 상호작용을 경험하게 하며, 이들 상대방에 대해서 아동자신은 어떻게 평가하고 있는지, 또한 이러한 상대방의 능력에 대한 주관적 평가가 아동의 과제해결 능력에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 살펴보았으며, 마지막으로 이러한 관계가 상대방에 대한 친밀도와는 어떻게 관련지어 나타나는지를 살펴보았다. 6, 8, 10세의 아동을 대상으로 하여 서로에 대한 친밀도를 조사하였으며 상대방의 능력에 대해 어떻게 생각하고 있는지에 대한 주관적인 평가를 하게 했다. 또한 하노이탑 과제를 사용하여 사전 검사, 처리, 사후 검사 단계를 통해 아동의 과제 해결 능력을 측정하였다. 그 결과, 자신보다 더 우수한 짝과 함께 공동 과제 해결을 한 아동이 그렇지 않은 아동보다 사후검사에서 더 많은 향상력을 보여줄 것이라고 기대하였으나 이 가설은 기각되었고, 아동이 자신의 짝에 대하여 긍정적으로 생각할 때, 다시 말하면 자신보다 과제를 더 잘 풀어 나갈 것이라고 판단할 경우에만 과제 수행 능력이 향상되었다. 이러한 결과는 객관적으로 평가된 아동의 능력보다 아동 자신이 주관적으로 상대방의 능력에 대해 판단한 것이 더 의미있게 과제수행 능력에 영향을 미친다는 것을 보여준다.

  • 현장체험학습은 교과 학습과 관련해서 교실을 벗어나 학습장을 방문하여 학습활동을 한 후 보고서를 작성하고 결과를 평가하는 학습을 말한다. 하지만 저학년에서 고학년으로 갈수록 학습 범위가 넓어지고 사전학습이 없어 효율적인 학습이 이루어지기 어렵다. 이에 교사에게는 풍부한 현장체험학습 자료를 이용하여 효과적인 학습을 할 수 있는 수업 기회를 제공하고, 학생에게는 시간과 공간을 초월하여 자기 주도적으로 사전 수업을 한 후 현장체험학습을 실시, 보고서를 작성할 수 있는 장을 마련해 주어야 한다. 그러므로 본 연구에서는 시간과 공간의 한계를 극복하면서 학습자가 살고 있는 지역에 관한 체험 학습을 할 수 있도록 현장체험 학습 시스템을 설계하였다 본 코스웨어는 학습자가 스스로 사전 사후 학습을 하며 교사와 상호 작용을 할 수 있도록 구성되었다.

An Instructional Design of STEAM Programs using Virtual Reality Equipment and Analysis of its Effectiveness and Attitude of Learners (가상현실장비(VR)를 활용한 융합인재교육 프로그램 개발 및 만족도와 학습자의 태도 분석)

  • In this study, we tried to develop STEAM integrated program using virtual reality(VR) equipment and to evaluate the learners' satisfaction in order to cultivate the convergent talent. The pre-test and the post-test were used to compare the mean scores of the assessed candidates and sub-areas. The post-test results were higher than pre-test results. The area with statistically significant mean height was derived as the 'self-concept' area of 'science' which is a sub-area of 'care and communication'.

Effect of Sensory Activity-Based Cognitive Rehabilitation Group Program on Cognitive Function, Depression and Quality of Life of Dementia Patients Living in a Facility (감각활동기반 인지재활 그룹 프로그램이 시설거주 치매노인의 인지기능과 우울 및 삶의 질에 미치는 효과)

  • Objective : This study was to apply a cognitive rehabilitation group program based on sensory activity in patients with dementia living in a facility and to check its effectiveness on cognitive function, depression, and quality of life (QOL). Methods : Sensory-based cognitive rehabilitation group programs (20 sessions) were conducted for eight elderly with dementia over the age of 65 living in a nursing facility located in H-gun, Gangwon-do. The participants' cognitive function, depression level, and QOL were evaluated before and after the program. Results : The mean of Mini-Mental State Examination-Dementia Screening increased; however, there was no statistically significant difference. In contrast, the mean post-test score of the Subjective Memory Complaints Questionnaire decreased, and there was a statistically significant difference (p < .05). The mean post-evaluation score of Short Geriatric Depression Scale measured to confirm the decrease in depression compared to the pre-evaluation score, but there was no statistically significant difference. Finally, the mean post-evaluation score of the World Health Organization QOL assessment instrument-Brief confirmed the change in the QOL, and there was a statistically significant difference (p < .001). Conclusion : This study will provide the basis for suggesting the usefulness of developing a sensory activity-based cognitive rehabilitation group program for dementia patients living in facilities.

A Study on Analysis Criteria for AI Service Impact Assessment (인공지능 서비스 영향성 평가를 위한 분석 기준 연구)

  • This study investigated the criteria for evaluating the impact of artificial intelligence services. The study classified AI evaluation targets into two areas: AI service and AI technology, and identified influence, sustainability, efficiency, effectiveness, and appropriateness as potential evaluation criteria. The time aspect of AI service evaluation was divided into pre-evaluation and post-evaluation, with pre-evaluation focused on reviewing items during development and design. The AI service area was classified into public, private, and mixed forms, and the impact assessment was classified as vertical or horizontal. The application of AI services was divided into normative and regulatory aspects, and the purpose of the evaluation could be impact or process evaluation. The subject and field of the AI service could also be used for classification purposes. The results of this study can be used to support the creation of AI service impact policies and countermeasures. However, further research is needed to develop specific indicators based on the criteria identified in this study to evaluate the impact of AI services.

Development of Holistic Therapy Program and Changes in Stress of Happy Healing Group Subjects (Holistic Therapy 프로그램의 개발과 적용한 행복힐링모임 대상자들의 스트레스 변화)

  • Purposes: Stress is known as a factor inducing various diseases in the human body. The purpose was to conduct a study on the stress change of 62 subjects who performed the newly developed "Holistic Healing(HH)Program" through the Happy Healing Group Program. Methods: Six sessions of the HH program were performed once a week (90 minutes) at the Happy Healing Meeting, and were surveyed activities of each session in detail. The HH program was developed to be applied to the general public, and it was composed of three detailed introduction-development-finish phases for each session. Results: After performing the Happiness Healing Meeting with the HH program the stress factor significantly decreased to 26.371 points in the post-test average value than the pre-test average value (p<.000). Psychological and social stress was reduced considerably to 9.096 points in post-test than in the pre-test measurement. Stress-coping method was significantly higher in the post-test with 201.661 points compared to the pre-test. Mood state was 69.451 points in the pre-test and 123.983 points in the post-test, showing a significant difference (p<.000). Conclusions: In the subjects who have been applied the holistic therapy program to the happiness healing small group, was significantly decreased general or psychosocial stress, and the stress-coping style and mood state change tended to increase. When evaluating this result, the SERIP Holistic Healing Program has been determined to be one of the very new holistic and beneficial natural healing therapies for the happiness healing small group.

Development of a Research Tool to Analyze the Educational Effect of School Space Innovation (학교공간혁신의 교육효과 분석을 위한 조사도구 개발)

  • This study was conducted to develop a tool to investigate and analyze the educational effect of the school space innovation project, which is being promoted on a large scale at the national level. In order to analyze the educational effect of school space innovation, it is first necessary to analyze the structure of the space altered by the school space innovation. Research and analysis should be possible, so a user survey tool was developed for this purpose. It is expected that the survey tool in this study can be used for pre-investigation in the pre-planning stage of the school space innovation project and as a post-evaluation tool for investigating and analyzing the educational effects of space innovation.
