Simulation and Testing of the Effect of Current Collection Performance According to Pre-sag in 400km/h Overhead Contact Lines (400km/h 전차선로에서 사전이도가 집전성능에 미치는 영향에 대한 시뮬레이션 및 시험)

  • A 400km/h simple catenary system was constructed as a test line in Korea. In the design stage of this system, the pre-sag was one of the engineering issues most focused on. It is known that the pre-sag improves the current collection performance in a certain band of high speed. However, the effect of pre-sag at 400km/h has not yet been established. To grasp a better pre-sag in the 400km/h catenary, we transacted the dynamic performance prediction simulation between catenary and pantograph under conditions of 0 and 1/3000 pre-sag. The level of 0 pre-sag was adapted for the 400km/h catenary design after reviewing predictions. We constituted the 1/3000 pre-sag sample section (about 1km) while constructing the 400km/h catenary test-bed (28km) of 0 pre-sag. With a HEMU-430X train, the contact forces were measured in the test-bed including the pre-sag sample section. In this paper, the predicted and measured dynamic performance values (contact forces) for 0 and 1/3000 pre-sag are described and compared. It is conclusively confirmed by analytical and experimental examination that the non pre-sag showed better dynamic (current collection) performance than that of the 1/3000 pre-sag for the 400km/h catenary system.

Quantitative preliminary hazard level simulation for tunnel design based on the KICT tunnel collapse hazard index (KTH-index) (터널 붕괴 위험도 지수(KTH-index)에 기반한 터널 설계안의 정량적 사전 위험도 시뮬레이션)

  • A new indexing methodology so called KTH-index was developed to quantitatively evaluate a potential level for tunnel collapse hazard, which has been successfully applied to tunnel construction sites to date. In this study, an attempt is made to apply this methodology for validating an outcome of tunnel design by checking the variation of KTH-index along longitudinal tunnel section. In this KTH-index simulation, it is the most important to determine the input factors reasonably. The design factor and construction condition are set up based on the designed outcome. Uncertain ground conditions are arranged based on borehole test and electro-resistivity survey data. Two scenarios for ground conditions, best and worst scenarios, are set up. From this simulation, it is shown that this methodology could be successfully applied for providing quantitative validity of a tunnel design and also potential hazard factors which should be carefully monitored in construction stage. The hazard factors would affect sensitively the hazard level of the tunnel site under consideration.

  • The construction information used in the design and construction phases are being gradually changed by 3D objects based on virtual reality (VR). This study developed an algorithm and computerized system to visualize layer object simulation that can be used in the pre-design phase. Layer object simulation enables designer to review expecting problems, which can reappear in real construction site, by building construction structures in a VR system. This function can be used as an important tool of virtual construction system.

  • Traffic safety in freeway work zones is of keen interest since both crash frequency and severity are much higher than those in general freeway sections. The lane closure in work zones results in greater work load of drivers due to compulsory lane changes and speed reduction. Therefore, traffic merging control is an effective countermeasure for enhancing work zone safety. This study proposed an integrated framework based on driving and traffic simulations to evaluate traffic merging control methods in terms of traffic safety. In addition to the conventional merging method using the taper, joint merge and chicane-type merge were evaluated by the proposed methodology. Chicane-type merge outperformed other methods under level of service (LOS) A and B. On the other hand, it was identified that joint merge showed the best safety performance under LOS C traffic conditions.

  • 네트워크 관리자는 트래픽 증가에 따른 네트워크 성능저하 문제를 해결하기 위해 개별 링크에 필요한 용량을 산정해야할 때가 있다. 대규모 네트워크의 경우 이산 사건 시뮬레이션만을 수행하여 용량을 산정하는 것보다 분석적 시뮬레이션을 함께 사용하여 용량을 산정한다면 시뮬레이션에 필요한 시간을 줄일 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 링크 용량계획을 위한 분석적 시뮬레이션의 활용방안을 논하고 그 기법을 기술하였다. 제안한 분석적 시뮬레이션 기법은 정상상태의 네트워크 분석이기 때문에 이산 사건 시뮬레이션에 비해 시뮬레이션에 소요되는 시간은 작지만 정확도는 낮다. 하지만 대규모 네트워크의 상태를 빠르게 파악하고 문제를 해결해야 한다면 좀 더 정밀한 시뮬레이션이나 분석을 위한 사전자료를 만들기에 충분할 것이다.

  • 본 논문에서는 전자상거래 사이트 구축에 사용성 공학의 관정에서 3DMax, Shockwave3D, Lingo Script 기술을 사용하여 3D 가상 시뮬레이션을 설계하고 구현하였다. 특히 본 연구에서 구현한 렌탈 사이트의 ‘내방꾸미기’ 3D가상 시뮬레이션에서는 고객이 원하는 가구를 대여하기 전에 방의 크기와 스타일에 맞추어 3 차원 공간에 동적으로 다양하게 배치해 볼 수 있도록 하여 추후에 발생할 수 있는 문제점을 사전에 방지할 수 있도록 하였다.

  • 정시의 제품 출시, 실패 비용 예방, 최적의 상품 개발을 위하여 DFSS 방법론이 기업에서 활발히 활용되고 있다. 하지만 이 과정에서 발생하는 불확실성에 따른 변동의 문제로부터 시간과 비용의 낭비가 발생된다. 따라서 What-If 분석 혹은 시뮬레이션 기법이 이런 문제를 사전에 예측하는데 효과적이다. 따라서 본 연구는 DFSS 추진 상에서 시뮬레이션 기법의 적용 가능성 및 효과를 다룬다.

  • Recently, work-related musculoskeletal disorders (WMSDs) become a hot issue in the industrial fields. To prevent the potential risk of workers, various approaches have been adopted. One of the approaches is to improve the design of product, that of jig (or fixture) and that of workstation in the early stage of the development. 3D simulation technology is known as the powerful method for detecting such problems before constructing the workstation, because it is possible to evaluate the posture of worker using 3D models in a cyber space. It enables to find the unexpected problems and save the time and cost for redesign and rework. This paper introduces a 3D simulation case study of workers in an excavator factory. 3D models of products, jigs were developed with CATIA. The assembly processes were animated in IGRIP and DPM. Finally the various postures of worker were simulated using Human. As a result, some postures were analysed as the risky jobs and the result of simulation was used to improve the system.

Effects of a Simulation-based Program on Self-Directed Learning Ability, Metacognition and Clinical Competence in a Nursing Student (시뮬레이션 교육이 간호대학생의 자기주도 학습능력, 메타인지, 임상수행능력에 미치는 효과)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the effect of simulation-based program on self-directed learning ability, metacognition and clinical competence for nursing students. The subjects were 88 students enrolling in the simulation-based practice. Simulation-based program included team based pre-discussion, taking a simulation and being debriefed during 12 weeks. After the subjects had participated in the simulation-based program, they showed statistically significant higher self-directed learning ability(t=4.270, p<.001), metacognition(t=4.435, p<.001) than before. However, there was no significant change in clinical competence. Therefore, facility of self-directed learning ability, metacognition and clinical competence for nursing students needs to develop and operate more systematic simulation-based program.

  • 발전소 시뮬레이터는 발전소 설계의 검증, 제어 시스템의 성능 시험, 제어 시스템 상수 최적화, 새로운 제어 기법의 사전 검증 및 운전요원 훈련과 같은 다양한 목적으로 사용되어진다. 본 논문에서는 발전소 운전요원들의 운영 능력 향상을 위하여 사용자의 이벤트들을 저장하여 사용자 요구 시에 일정 시간 주기로 도면에 설계하는 스크립트 기능과 그래픽 기반의 시뮬레이션을 위한 두 종류의 결과 모니터링 윈도우 그리고 사용자의 다양한 시뮬레이션을 위한 시뮬레이션 속도 변경 기능을 기존의 발전소 시뮬레이터에 설계, 구현한다. 또한 시뮬레이션 속도 변경 기능 확장에 따른 시뮬레이션의 정확성을 판단하기 위하여 수행 결과 데이터를 추출하여 시뮬레이션의 정확성을 검증한다.
