Global e-commerce websites offer personalized recommendation services to gain sustainable competitiveness. Existing studies have offered personalized recommendation services using quantitative preferences such as ratings. However, offering personalized recommendation services using only quantitative data has raised the problem of decreasing recommendation performance. For example, a user gave a five-star rating but wrote a review that the user was unsatisfied with hotel service and cleanliness. In such cases, has problems where quantitative and qualitative preferences are inconsistent. Recently, a growing number of studies have considered review data simultaneously to improve the limitations of existing personalized recommendation service studies. Therefore, in this study, we identify review and rating mismatches and build a new user profile to offer personalized recommendation services. To this end, we use deep learning algorithms such as CNN, LSTM, CNN + LSTM, which have been widely used in sentiment analysis studies. And extract sentiment features from reviews and compare with quantitative preferences. To evaluate the performance of the proposed methodology in this study, we collect user preference information using real-world hotel data from the world's largest travel platform TripAdvisor. Experiments show that the proposed methodology in this study outperforms the existing other methodologies, using only existing quantitative preferences.
One of the most commonly used methods of web recommendation techniques is collaborative filtering. Many studies on collaborative filtering have suggested ways to improve accuracy. This study proposes a method of movie recommendation using Word2Vec and an ensemble convolutional neural networks. First, in the user, movie, and rating information, construct the user sentences and movie sentences. It inputs user sentences and movie sentences into Word2Vec to obtain user vectors and movie vectors. User vectors are entered into user convolution model and movie vectors are input to movie convolution model. The user and the movie convolution models are linked to a fully connected neural network model. Finally, the output layer of the fully connected neural network outputs forecasts of user movie ratings. Experimentation results showed that the accuracy of the technique proposed in this study accuracy of conventional collaborative filtering techniques was improved compared to those of conventional collaborative filtering technique and the technique using Word2Vec and deep neural networks proposed in a similar study.

In this paper, we propose an algorithm that can improve the accuracy performance of collaborative filtering using attribute-based opinion mining (ABOM). For the experiment, a total of 1,227 online consumer review data about smartphone apps from domestic smartphone users were used for analysis. After morpheme analysis using the KKMA (Kkokkoma) analyzer and emotional word analysis using KOSAC, attribute extraction is performed using LDA topic modeling, and the topic modeling results for each weighted review are used to add up the ratings of collaborative filtering and the sentiment score. MAE, MAPE, and RMSE, which are statistical model performance evaluations that calculate the average accuracy error, were used. Through experiments, we predicted the accuracy of online customers' app ratings (APP_Score) by combining traditional collaborative filtering among the recommendation algorithms and the attribute-based opinion mining (ABOM) technique, which combines LDA attribute extraction and sentiment analysis. As a result of the analysis, it was found that the prediction accuracy of ratings using attribute-based opinion mining CF was better than that of ratings implementing traditional collaborative filtering.
Today, many services and products that used to be only provided on offline have been being provided on the web according to the improvement of computing environment and the activation of web usage. These web-based services and products tend to be provided to customer by customer's preferences. This paradigm that considers customer's opinions and features in selecting is called personalization. The related research field is a recommendation. And this recommendation is performed by recommender system. Generally the recommendation is made from the preferences and tastes of customers. And recommender system provides this recommendation to user. However, the recommendation techniques have a couple of problems; they do not provide suitable recommendation to new users and also are limited to computing space that they generate recommendations which is dependent on ratings of products by users. Those problems has gathered some continuous interest from the recommendation field. In the case of new users, so similar users can't be classified because in the case of new users there is no rating created by new users. The problem of the limitation of the recommendation space is not easy to access because it is related to moneywise that the cost will be increasing rapidly when there is an addition to the dimension of recommendation. Therefore, I propose the solution of the recommendation problem of new user and the usage of item quality as weight to improve the accuracy of recommendation in this paper.

With the extreme development of Internet, recently most users refer the sites with the various Recommendation Systems (RSs) when they want to buy some stuff, movie and music. However, the possibilities of the Sybils with the malicious behaviors may exists in these RSs sites in which Sybils intentionally increase or decrease the rating values. The RSs cannot play an accurate role of the proper recommendations to the general normal users. In this paper, we divide the given rating values into the stable or unstable states and propose a system information based recommendation algorithm that minimizes the malicious user's influence. To evaluate the performance of the proposed scheme, we directly crawl the real trace data from the famous movie site and analyze the performance. After that, we showed proposed scheme performs well compared to existing algorithms.
In recent years, a recommendation system is introduced in many different fields with the beginning of the 5G era and making a considerably prominent appearance mainly in books, movies, and music. In such a recommendation system, however, the preference degrees of users are subjective and uncertain, which means that it is difficult to provide accurate recommendation service. There should be huge amounts of learning data and more accurate estimation technologies in order to improve the performance of a recommendation system. Trying to solve this problem, this study proposed a movie recommendation system based on Fuzzy-AHP and Word2vec. The proposed system used Fuzzy-AHP to make objective predictions about user preference and Word2vec to classify scraped data. The performance of the system was assessed by measuring the accuracy of Word2vec outcomes based on grid search and comparing movie ratings predicted by the system with those by the audience. The results show that the optimal accuracy of cross validation was 91.4%, which means excellent performance. The differences in move ratings between the system and the audience were compared with the Fuzzy-AHP system, and it was superior at approximately 10%.
In recent years, there has been increasing interest in recommender systems which provide users with personalized suggestions for products or services. In particular, researches of collaborative filtering analyzing relations between users and items has become more active because of the Netflix Prize competition. This paper presents the reinforcement learning approach for collaborative filtering. By applying reinforcement learning techniques to the movie rating, we discovered the connection between a time sequence of past ratings and current ratings. For this, we first formulated the collaborative filtering problem as a Markov Decision Process. And then we trained the learning model which reflects the connection between the time sequence of past ratings and current ratings using Q-learning. The experimental results indicate that there is a significant effect on current ratings by the time sequence of past ratings.

With the recent increase in online product purchases, a recommender system that recommends products considering users' preferences has still been studied. The recommender system provides personalized product recommendation services to users. Collaborative Filtering (CF) using user ratings on products is one of the most widely used recommendation algorithms. During CF, the item-based method identifies the user's product by using ratings left on the product purchased by the user and obtains the similarity between the purchased product and the unpurchased product. CF takes a lot of time to calculate the similarity between products. In particular, it takes more time when using text-based big data such as review data of Amazon store. This paper suggests a hybrid recommendation system using a 2-phase methodology and text data mining to calculate the similarity between products easily and quickly. To this end, we collected about 980,000 online consumer ratings and review data from the online commerce store, Amazon Kinder Store. As a result of several experiments, it was confirmed that the suggested hybrid recommendation system reflecting the user's rating and review data has resulted in similar recommendation time, but higher accuracy compared to the CF-based benchmark recommender systems. Therefore, the suggested system is expected to increase the user's satisfaction and increase its sales.
