A Study on the Activation Plan of Web-based Open Source Platform using 3D Printer -Focused on Platform Toy- (3D Printer를 이용한 웹기반 오픈소스 플랫폼 제작 방안에 관한 연구 -Platform Toy를 중심으로-)

  • As the concept of open source extends beyond the scope of software, many companies are also introducing business models using open source concepts. This study is a study on how to create a web-based open-source platform using a 3D printer and aims to create an open-source platform modeled on the Kidults community where users are highly willing to participate. The research method established the direction of initial platform production by collecting basic data through the usability of the platform and Toy design preferences and propensity analysis through research on open source use cases by various companies and user surveys in the Kidults Community. Features unique platform Toy sources that are freely reinterpreted by the user and re-shared and sold to the platform. Research should continue to boost user motivation by activating communities within the platform.

  • This paper researched social, cultural background, psychological bases, design method and design types with regard to user's participation in space design. This issue of user's participation became one of major paradigms of 21st century not only for space design but also for every other cultural phenomenon. First chapter is an introduction. Second chapter tried to assert the fact that user's participation will be the important aspect for future space design by proving the correlation between user's participation in space design and the important social changes. It also tried to prove the psychological reasons why the users' participations affect the level of user satisfaction. It can be explained by Behaviorism which insisted that our outer behaviors affect our inner attitudes and preferences. Third chapter explained the affordances in design which works as a means of inducing user's participatory behaviors. Fourth chapter proposed the types of participatory space designs classified by the users' behavioral features and their characteristics, intending that they will verify the realization of the theories which we discussed in the former chapters regarding the users' participation in space design. The fifth chapter is a conclusion which says that outwardly, those participations are simply making external changes in design. but actually, they are reflecting more profound social changes and making important psychological effects on users.

  • 협력시스템(collaborative System or Computer-Supported Cooperative Work)은 여러 사용자가 공동 작업을 하기 위해서 참여자간의 정보의 공유와 공조, 의사소통을 지원하는 컴퓨터 기술을 말한다. 오늘날의 CSCW는 기업체내에서의 기업업무 처리 측면에서 고려되는 시스템과 산업 디자인, 협력 편집기와 같이 특정 목적 시스템의 분야로 발전되어지는 경향이 있다. 산업 디자인과, 협력 편집기와 같은 시스템에서는 다수의 사용자가 동시에 하나의 공유객체를 제어하고, 처리하는 환경을 제공한다. 이러한 시스템은 세분화된 데이터의 공유방법과 제어 방법이 필요하다. 다수의 사용자에 의해서 공유객체에 대한 동시적 조작이 가할 때 공유객체는 일관적인 상태로 존재시키기 위해서 동시성 제어와 같은 일관성 유지 정책이 요구되어 진다. 본 논문에서는 협력시스템에서의 공유객체에 관한 일관성 유지 정책을 소개하고 기존 정책의 문제점과 개선된 방법을 소개한다.

  • 최근, 스마트폰 가입자 수가 1000만 명을 넘어설 전망으로 한국은 스마트폰 열풍이며 그중에서도 안드로이드 사용자가 폭발적으로 늘고 있는 추세다. 이러한 추세에 발맞춰 사람과 사람의 관계에 중심을 두는 서비스인 SNS가 급격히 성장하여 모바일의 장점을 살린 음성중심의 모바일SNS, 즉 보이스 채팅 시스템이 많은 인기를 끌고 있다. 그러나 기존 보이스 채팅 시스템의 대화상대 선정, 참여자들 간의 유대감 형성, 발언권 확보와 같은 주요 문제점들을 해결하기 위해 그룹형성, 멤버위치표시, 인원제한을 이용가능하게 하는 CCG(Closed Chatting Group, 폐쇄형 채팅 그룹)라는 '개설자의 현재 위치를 중심으로 형성된 채팅 그룹'을 도입한 CCG기반 보이스 채팅 시스템을 제안한다. 또한 기존의 사용성 낮은 디자인을 사용자 중심의 인터페이스 디자인을 사용하여 편리성을 제공한다. 사용자 중심의 CCG 기반 보이스 채팅 시스템인 SIC는 마음에 맞는 다양한 사람들과 원활한 커뮤니케이션을 할 수 있도록 도와 줄 것이다.

Comparative Evaluation of Electromyography Activity and User-perceived Level with Crutch Design Variations (목발 디자인에 따른 근육 활성도 및 사용자 인식 비교 연구)

  • In this study, three axillary crutches(Mobilegs, KM crutch, Pro In-motion) were tested with 12 healthy male subjects by measuring the EMG activity of the latissimus dorsi and gastrocnemius and the user-perceived levels focusing on the comfort and ease of use. The result showed that the EMG activity of the gastrocnemius was significantly reduced during ambulation using Mobilegs and Pro In-motion compared with the ambulation using KM crutch, a conventional crutch. However, no statistically significant difference was found for EMG activity of the latissimus dorsi. Subjects perceived the Mobilegs to be more comfortable and easy to use than the other crutches. Theses result may delivered mostly from the characteristics of spring-loaded axillary pad and ergonomic crutch handle. The results indicate that ambulation using the spring-loaded crutch is much easy with asking less exertion at gastrocnemius. In addition, the characteristics of crutch design, such as embedded spring, makes muscles to consume less energy. When the reasonable structure and form of the axillary pad and crutch handle are applied herein, the ambulation using the crutches are perceived to comfort.

  • The 2D based-web contents are limited to implement interactive elements for the users even though the contents are offered in various styles. Using the mouse and keyboards users chose any web contents for themselves beyond the limitation of time and space. They want more interactive style as they become familiar with convenience of web contents. The 3 dimensional web contents integrated with interactive technologies are one of the ways for them There are many researches and commercialization of the interactive web 30 for the past years because it has a lot of user benefits in terms of immersion, realistic expression, and interactivity. It has two types of implementation; one is for 3D polygon based objects, the other is for virtual worlds. This research is focus of on the concept of web interactive 3D, the technical aspects, design elements, and the proposal of navigation methods for the purpose of creating new type of web interactive contents.

  • This study aims to propose an effective user experience of online class in the non-face-to-face through case analysis, focusing on school-linked education programs with art museums for elementary classes. To analysis domestic and international cases of school-liked education programs with art museum and to measure user experience, we were conducted with task test, in-depth interviews and surveys with experts. As a result, there were the pros and cons about the programs. Based on this, we propose a better method to increase the satisfaction of user experience for children. This study is significant in activating digital technology-based online education. This study expected to used as data on the user experience of a non-face-to-face online art education program in elementary schools in the future.

  • 본 연구는 R&D 정보 시각화를 위한 네비게이션 선행연구이다. 지금까지 R&D서비스에서는 연구 기획 단계에서부터 사업화에 이르기까지 기존의 연구 성과에 대한 조사 분석을 포함해서 해당 연구 주제에 대하여 기술동향, 시장분석, R&D정책 등 다양한 정보를 종합적이고 전략적으로 활용할 수 있는 정보 서비스가 부족하거나 제한적이었다. 이런 문제를 해결하기 위하여 본 논문에서는 서비스 디자인 방법론에 입각하여 R&D정보서비스의 서비스 디자인 프로세스를 사용하여 R&D 담당자와 UX 디자이너가 참여하는 사용성 평가와 서비스 디자인 방법론 수행 후 사용자 니즈를 분석해 보았다. 국가R&D정보와 관련된 정보처리기술 및 정보자원에 대해서는 기존 KISTI에 가지고 있는 국가R&D정보와 NDSL를 연계하고 이를 활용하여 연구자의 R&D활동에 관련된 문제해결을 지원하는 서비스 체제를 구축하고자 한다. 본 논문에서는 국가R&D정보 서비스 체제 구축을 위해 서비스 디자인 방법론과 사용자 분석을 통해 R&D정보 서비스의 개선 방향을 알아본다.

  • In this paper, we introduce 'Contents Based Image Retrieval' which helps a user find the images he or she needs more easily and reconfigures the images automatically. With this system, we try to realize the language of (motion) picture, that is, the Montage from the viewpoint of the user. The Real-time Montage System introduced in this paper uses 'Discrete Fourier Transform'. Through this, the user can find the feature of the image selected and compare the analogousness with the image in the database. This kind of system leads to the user's speedy and effective retrieving, Also, we can acquire the movement image of the user by Camera Tracking in Real-time. The movement image acquired is to be reconfigured automatically with the image of the user. In this way, we can get an easy and speedy image reconfiguration which sets to the user's intention. This system is a New Media Design tool(entertainment) which induces a user enjoy participating in it. In this system, Thus, the user is not just a passive consumer of one-way image channels but an active subject of image reproduction in this system. It is expected to be a foundation for a new style of user-centered movie (media based entertainment).
