Multiple regression analysis and Sobel test were conducted using data provided by children who participated in Children's Hope Network and their primary caretakers. The study results are as follows: First, families rated highly on their level of experience regarding family-centered practice, which show that social workers were faithful in performing family-centered practice. Second, the levels of both children's self-efficacy and family strengths increased significantly after project participation when compared to the levels measured before participation. Third, family-centered practice affected children's self-efficacy only indirectly through family strengths indicating that the level of family strengths had a complete mediating effect. Implications of these results were explored in relation to the importance of family-centered practice and measures to improve social work practice.

For this study, a survey was conducted on participants in the self-support work project within the G-gu area. As a result of the study, it was found that the participation perception, self-efficacy, and empowerment of participants in the self-support project had a positive (+) effect on the self-support will. Also, in the process where participants' perceptions of participation, self-efficacy, and self-esteem affect the will to self-support, it was found that empowerment partially mediated participation perception and self-efficacy and fully mediated self-esteem. Based on these results, the following are practical suggestions for improving self-support project participants' will to self-support as follows. First, systematic training courses are needed in the application and selection of recipients, establishment of self-support plans, and gateway training courses so that participants in self-support projects can correctly recognize self-support projects. Second, it is necessary to systematize the case management system provided by the self-help center and re-establish the role in order to strengthen the participants' hope for self-reliance. Third, it is necessary to identify the strengths of the participants in the self-support project, create results for self-support, and operate a program that strengthens the latent motivation to solve their own problems and change their behavior. Fourth, the empowerment of participants and professional ability of practitioners should be strengthened so that participants can solve the alienation and social exclusion experienced in the process of participating in the project.

In particular, this paper starts from the consciousness of the problem that the education that is being implemented to achieve the purpose of successful start-up among various government-based start-up support projects is failing to produce many start-up failures. Entrepreneurs cannot be assessed by objective financial data, but there is a high degree of uncertainty that should be determined based on their personal and learning abilities. In addition, many previous studies, which are likely to be successful when there is a high self-efficacy in a specific field due to the influence of factors such as personal experience or learning, will answer the direction of support for start-up companies. This study focuses on the impact of the founder's self-efficacy on the sales of the founding firms, especially the sales that are the key to the survival of the founding firms. This study has six major studies. First, to analyze whether the self-efficacy of entrepreneurs with respect to entrepreneurship affects the sales of entrepreneurs. Second, to analyze whether the self-efficacy of entrepreneurs with respect to market orientation affects the sales of entrepreneurs. Analysis of whether the founder's self-efficacy affects the sales of the founding firms. An analysis of whether efficacy affects the sales of a start-up company, and sixth, an analysis of whether the founder's self-efficacy of business model building ability affects the sales of a start-up company. As a result of the empirical analysis, this study found that the self-efficacy of entrepreneurs on product differentiation capability and business model building capacity had a positive influence on the sales of entrepreneurs. The self-efficacy had a positive effect on self-efficacy, and the customer orientation had a positive effect on self-efficacy on business model building capacity. Also, it was confirmed that a path exists between the components of self-efficacy and that self-efficacy through the path has a positive effect on the sales of the start-up company. Therefore, the results of this study suggest the implications of establishing such a path and strengthening self-efficacy to create the survival and start-up performance of a start-up company if the goal of the start-up company is to survive when implementing various support projects for the start-up company.

The subjects in this study were 300 selected students in a girls' high school located in the city of Iksan. A survey was conducted from November 2 to 5, 2014, with questionnaires that covered oral health behavior and self-efficacy, and the answer sheets from 298 respondents were analyzed by a statistical package IBM SPSS Statistics ver. 21.0. The group that got regular dental checkups (3.26) excelled the other group that didn't in self-efficacy (p<0.05), and the group who made use of oral care products and who brushed their teeth four times or more had a better self-efficacy than the other group that didn't. The students who considered themselves to be in better oral health scored higher in self-efficacy, and the groups who had no difficulties in pronunciation (3.66) and mastication (3.32) scored higher (p<0.01, <0.001). Masticatory dysfunction (r=-0.184) and pronunciation disorder (r=-0.200) were negatively correlated with self-efficacy, but oral health status (r=0.243) had a positive correlation with it. Self-efficacy was better when oral health status was better (p<0.001) and when there was no pronunciation disorder (p<0.01). The above-mentioned findings suggested that there was a close relationship between oral health behavior and self-efficacy. Therefore the kind of program that aims at changing youth oral health awareness and oral health behavior should be prepared to improve the self-efficacy of adolescents.

  • Research in which an individual's entrepreneurial spirit contributes to the country's economic development through revitalization of entrepreneurship is being actively conducted, but studies related to individual satisfaction or life satisfaction are still insufficient. This study aims to clarify the influence of young adults' entrepreneurial spirit on their life satisfaction and at the same time verify the mediating effect of self-efficacy and self-determination. In addition, an empirical analysis was conducted on 511 young people to reveal the effectiveness of participation in government start-up support projects. The research results are as follows. First, the entrepreneurial spirit had a positive effect on the life satisfaction of young people. Second, self-determination and self-efficacy played a role in mediating the relationship between entrepreneurship and life satisfaction. Finally, participation in start-up support projects did not show a statistically significant moderating effect. This study is expected to provide a clue that life satisfaction can act as a major variable in the impact of entrepreneurship on entrepreneurship. It also implies that the performance of the government start-up support project should be considered not only about the quantitative performance such as sales and employment effect, but also the qualitative performance such as personal life satisfaction.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the net effect and the combined effect of the determinants of the likelihood of start-up success of researchers at public research institutes. Based on the existing literature, the determinants of the researcher's likelihood of start-up success were reviewed, and a conceptual relationship between the determinants of the likelihood of start-up success was established. Data collection was conducted through a survey targeting researchers at public research institutes, and a total of 114 data were collected. The partial least squares (PLS) analysis method was used to analyze the net effect of the likelihood of start-up success determinant, and the fuzzy-set qualitative comparative analysis (fsQCA) was used to analyze the combined effect of the likelihood of start-up success determinant. In the PLS analysis results, it was found that technology commercialization probability and creative self-efficacy had a significant positive effect independently on the likelihood of start-up success. In the fsQCA results, we found a combined effect of increasing the likelihood of start-up success when the technology commercialization probability, technology commercialization capability, and creative self-efficacy were high. These research results provide academic implications for understanding the determinants of the likelihood of start-up success of researchers in public research institutes.

  • Recently, the government has been spending a large amount of money to support start-ups with its major policies aimed at economic growth and job creation under the keynote of innovative growth. Nevertheless, the Global Entrepreneurship Development Institute (GEDI) gave a very low assessment of the social and cultural support areas of Korea's start-up ecosystem in the 2018 Global Entrepreneurship Index (GEI), indicating that unlike the government's interest, our perception of start-ups has not been positive. This study surveyed 300 prospective entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs. In addition, this study empirically analyzes how social support of those around them is related to their entrepreneurial intentions and behaviors. As a result, it was not possible to confirm whether social support affects entrepreneurial intentions, but social support had positive influences on entrepreneurial behaviors. In addition, social support was found to have positive influences on entrepreneurial behaviors with dual mediation of entrepreneurial self-dfficacy and entrepreneurial intentions. Therefore, it was confirmed that social support is a factor that influences entrepreneurial behaviors and that entrepreneurial self-efficacy has important parametric effects. The findings of this study suggest that the government and entrepreneurship support agencies need to reflect programs in start-up support poject to promote social support for start-ups and to enhance entrepreneurial self-efficacy.
