In the process of complex shopping mall development, all the steps (business planning step, pre-sale & completion step, management & operations step) head towards a consistent ultimate goal in an overall business perspective. In this study, we analyze using a structural equation model if an appropriate relations between each of the steps are formed to achieve the ultimate goal. In this study, we find a positive relationship between business planning step and pre-sale & completion step, and also find that for success pre-sale & completion, a faithful business plan is necessary. But we find no statistically significant relationship under significant level 0.05 among business planning step and management & operations step and the level of success, pre-sale & completion step and management & operations step and the level of success, management & operations step and the level of success. This suggests that each of the steps does not form a close relationship to achieve the consistent goal in the complex shopping mall development and each one is doing a short-sighted work for its own profit.

In Korea, demand for the Social Overhead Capital(SOC) projects has tremendously increased since 1970's and is expected to keep growing to support national economic development as well as to enhance the quality of life. In these projects, project planning and feasibility study phase is one of the most critical phases because it determines the success of later phases. However, we have experienced trial and errors repeatedly such as cost overruns and schedule delays in many of the SOC projects. These problems can be prevented or at least expected in the earlier phase and it requires well-developed and standardized project planning process and systems before design, procurement, and construction phases begin. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to investigate current problems in this phase and provide framework for a model for the project planning management which can be used for the SOC projects to insure the whole project success.

Recently The public project ordering is a tendency increasing of CM service because of the visible and affirmative effect in the CM which is advanced meanwhile. The CM services of project all phase excepts a planning business are performed. But recently the CM services of project all phase including a planning business are increasing every year. To develop CM must be prepared the system plans concerned with the CM application from planning phase, actuality maintenance of CM fee-estimation standard, understanding conversion of participation subjects, etc. But, unexpected actuality the problems occurs when the CM business is performing. The purpose of this study are to present the solution to the problems concerned with the planning business management, additional business by owner, schedule control and establish the plan to perform CM services efficiently in the public sector through analyzing the case of CM application in Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science & Technology.

Nowadays, there has been extreme competition due to market reduction in the domestic construction industry. In this situation, Korean construction companies are focused in the area of planning development housing project, which should maximize profit for a project. The most important step in this project is the business planning stage which judge whether it could come true or not. Each company has its own planning process model, but there hasn't been any standard model for the business planning process. To solve this problem in Korean construction companies, this study identifies the existing business planning process in the domestic construction companies finds out its problems, and suggests solutions for thorn. And Finally a business planning process model is proposed for success in development housing projects.

Recently, the architecture remodeling is rising as new alternative for activating the construction market as the interest toward life cycle of buildings has increased. But the reality is that current remodeling business is suffering various types of difficulties in its performance due to the absence of general management technology and factor technology in systematic performance procedure or evaluation, etc toward remodeling effect, evaluation on performance, imperfect system for reflecting user requirements and remodeling life cycle ; planning, $feasibility ^{\circ}\hat{E}designing^{\circ}\hat{E}construction^{\circ}\hat{E}management$ along with lack of overall understanding on remodeling. Accordingly, this research has attempted to search for an effective management method through overall understanding in project performance by presenting work procedure of remodeling project and analysis items for decision making, etc centered on early planning stage out of three stages called planning, designing and construction.

Recent advancement in ICT and IT infrastructure drives the construction industry towards a IT-based industry. Accordingly, the importance of the planning phase of a project is significantly highlighted due to recent large-scale national development projects such as U-city and multifunctional administration city. various development and studies are conducted on the convergence of 3D CAD and GIS in order to support the decision making by simulation of each phase of construction prior to the actual construction of a building. However there has been limits to the implementation of the IT technology in the planning phase due to its characteristics such as high reliability on the experts knowledge and the compliance of the administration work. In this study, a trendy issue of the convergence of the GIS technology with the 3D CAD design data is suggested to improve the efficiency of a decision support in the planning phase.

In the execution of construction management, such pre-design steps as a planning stage, a basic design stage, and a work design stage are regarded as more important than an actual construction stage. However, the manpower input criterion from the aspect of construction management price standard in the Construction Engineering Management Law does not attach weight to the pre-design stage. In this regard, the aim of this study was to examine the propriety of manpower input in the pre-design stage of construction management and then present an improvement strategy of it. For this, the investigator examined the criterion of service price prescribed in the Construction Engineering Management Law and then comparatively analyzed four sites of construction management services. Study findings are as follows: 1) the actual state of manpower input based on the stepwise average price criterion of construction management service is presented with such steps as the newly established planning step (6.6%), the basic design stage (3.9%$\rightarrow$5.6%), the practical design stage(7.6%$\rightarrow$13.5%), the construction stage (88.5%$\rightarrow$64.0%), and the newly established maintenance stage (10.3%). The average price criterion is classified by total construction expenses and calculated by improved rates and stage; and 2) the three-step criterion of the Construction Engineering Management Law is classified into five stages including the planning stage and the maintenance stage by dividing it with the stepwise construction businesses. Study findings show that the calculation of price criterion in the actual site of construction management services must be operated in a practical and flexible manner and the systematic improvement of stepwise manpower input must be carried out actually.

Recently, overseas plant orders of domestic enterprises are steadily increased, and the amount of orders in the first half of 2014 were 93% increased compared to the previous year. In addition, now which is the third quarter of 2015, overseas plant orders are already over 249.8 billion dollars so the interests of plant industry research has been increased. In the life cycle of the plant project, CM before the construction stage is to complement the uncertainties that are inherent in the early stages of the project, and from the viewpoint of supporting the rational decision-making, the importance of its role is on the rise. Among them, excavating and investing participation plan in the planning stage is an important work that has a large impact force to influence the success and failure of future project. However, the work has become a problem with frequent consultations due to decision-making, continuous modification, and inefficient repetitive tasks. Therefore, it is needed that work process should be changed to effectively accommodate. The purpose of this paper is to derive the major work items for excavating and investing participation plan in the planning stage of the plant project, and establish a standardized work process through the Delphi analysis. The result of this study is expected to be utilized for EPC companies in ensuring the technical competitiveness in planning on overseas markets, and improve the efficiency of work.

A judgment on the redevelopment projects' predicted profitability is an essential decision-making element for the success of the redevelopment projects. It is necessary to review the literature on profitability of redevelopment project and draw risk factors that could affect profitability through the risk analysis based on surveys. It is also necessary to judge profitability prediction toward the business value of the redevelopment project in the planning phase according to the risk analysis results which can affect the profitability prediction. In order to prevent the growing difficulties in executing the projects, a profitability prediction model is proposed using the method of management and disposal based on a proportional calculation that can estimate the share of expenses in order to judge profitability in the planning phase. With the improvement of profitability prediction models, it is possible to appropriately judge profitability in the planning phase in order to allow the prevention of suspension, reduction of project term, reduction of cost, and making of rational decisions.

정부는 제4차 선도기술개발협의회에서 한국표준형 원전의 후속모델인 차세대원전 기술개발 2단계사업을 G7사업으로 계속 추진키로 최종 확정하였다. 94년까지의 1단계 연구사업에 대하여 주관부처인 통상산업부의 자체평가와 원자력이용개발전문위원, 원자력안전전문위원회 및 과학기술처 G7 종합평가기획단의 심의를 거쳐 차세대원전 기술개발 2단계사업을 G7사업으로 계속 추진키로 확정한 것이다. 현재 2단계사업인 기본설계를 개발중인 우리나라의 차세대원전 기술개발사업의 추진현황과 향후 추진방향을 알아본다.
