Patenting Trend of Internet of Things(IoT) in China (중국의 사물인터넷 특허 동향)

  • Recently, the technological development in the Internet of Things(IoT) field has grown rapidly worldwide and China is also expected to show a noticeable growth trend in this field. Therefore, the aim of this research is to analyze the recent trend of Chinese patents in the IoT field. China has been very active between 2010 and 2014, surpassing USA, and the this trend will accelerate in the future. The results of the analysis are as follows. First, the number of IoT-related patents in China increased rapidly from 2010 to 2014. Second, the major actors that led this quantitative increase are firms including ZTE and higher education institutes such as Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications. Lastly, major technological fields and the convergence networks amongst those fields were analyzed. As a result, it was found that the patenting activity in H04L was the most active and this field has led the convergence among other technological fields.

  • 사물인터넷(IoT)은 각종 사물에 센서 와 통신 기능을 내장하여 인터넷에 연결하는 기술로 초고속 이동통신, 고감도 센서, 빅 데이터 처리 등 3대 핵심기술의 발전과 저가격화로 사물인터넷 시대가 가시화되고 있다. 그리고 근거리 위치 인식과 통신기술을 이용해 각종 정보와 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 비콘 기술은 사물인터넷 시대에 온 오프라인 서비스 융합을 가능하게 할 핵심 기술로 부각되고 있다. 그러나 현재 비콘을 활용한 위치기반서비스는 비콘이 데이터를 송신하고 스마트기기가 수신해 상품정보, 쿠폰 발행 등의 마케팅을 위한 수단으로만 활용되고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 비콘을 활용한 위치기반서비스를 제공하기 위해 서버와의 연동으로 다양한 서비스가 가능한 사물인터넷 디바이스를 제안한다.

  • H/W, S/W 기술과 통신 기술이 발전함에 따라 기술들이 융합되고 오늘날 사물인터넷이란 기술이 우리 생활속에 소리 없이 들어오게 되었다. 사물인터넷 시장은 2014년도를 기준으로 2020년도에는 국내는 4.7배, 국외는 3.3배 성장할 것으로 예측되고 있으며, 인터넷에 연결된 개체 수 또한 500억 개에 이를 것으로 예상된다. 시장 성장과 더불어 사물인터넷 국제 표준과 플랫폼 및 서비스 개발 부분에서도 주요 국가들의 적극적인 참여와 연구가 진행되고 있다. 이러한 틈 속에서 우리 산업 전반에 사물인터넷의 효과를 퍼트려 경제적, 학문적으로 한 단계 도약할 수 있는 국내 사물인터넷 생태계를 위해 산 학 연 및 정부차원의 유기적인 협조가 필요할 것으로 예상된다.

  • With the advent of the 5G communication era recently, advancement of the convergence technologies related to IoT has been progressed rapidly. IoT convergence technologies using various sensors are actively applied many fields in our lives, and it contributes to the popularization of these convergence technologies among many people successfully. The security problem of the IoT which connects many things on the network is critically vulnerable and is one of the most important challenge to be solved urgently. In this paper, we design an intrusion detection and self-treatment system for IoT, which can detect external attacks and anomalies in order to solve the security problems in IoT, perform self-treatment by operating the vaccine program according to the intrusion type whenever it detects certain intrusion. Furthermore, we consider the broadcasting of intrusion alarm message according to the frequency of similar circumstances in order to block intrusion contagious in IoT.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine possibilities of industry secret information leakage through IoT devices and to prevent information leakage from the perspective of administrative and technique security. From the administrative security perspective, first, it is important to face the possibility of industry information data leakage through anyone who can access companies and should establish guidelines to limit the use of IoT devices when entering companies. Second, security management guideline should be prepared by companies or upon user's request and use of any electronic devices sharing wireless internet connection should be eliminated or restricted. From technique security perspective, channels that sharing IoT devices in computers should be controlled since industry secret information are stored in computers and servers. Furthermore, IoT devices that accessing wireless internet network or devices that already registered should be regularly checked in order to minimize any information leakage. Lastly, data and information stored in computers and servers should be encrypted.

  • The Internet of things is a system that connects and communicates all sorts of things such as people, objects, and data. It's to create and share information by its own each other. It can be used to enhance the function of private security and has brought about innovative development of private security. The Internet of things is a system that allows devices connected to the Internet to communicate independently of people-objects, objects-objects connected to the Internet. That and can be used in many industries, especially in the private security sector, its value is high. The use of the Internet of things to private security sector can reinforce security zones with always-on surveillance systems, also be enhanced by its own preparedness and response to the situation. However, this study will discusse the application and development of private security in the Internet of things. The practical application of the virtual space is an immediate task and it is also an essential factor in securing security.

  • Recently, the development and dissemination of smart devices linked to the network are being actively performed, and IOT(Internet of things) is issued form of mutually cooperative relationship through interoperation within smart devices. In this paper, we propose an innovative intelligent coffee shop management system by sharing and cooperatively controlling smart devices and Internet devices. The system can order smartphones including kiosk orders and beacon-based user identification. And it is a system that can make custom order without grasping user location information using geofence. The paper provides weather, temperature, time and user-based recommendation services based on Big Data. Therefore, the system is increased cost reduction and work efficiency than general coffee shops.

  • This research examines how IoT makes a significant contribution to the innovation of media firms. The media firms will be able to find new reveue sources and strengthen firms' competence through innovating product, process and business model. While IoT increases the experience of interactivity and immersion for consumption, it improves the way ads are exposed and its impact is measured, leading to revenue increase. For these benefits fulfilled, innovation friendly media eco-system must be established. It is the most critical that media firms should change skeptical attitude toward IoT's potential and actively invest it to employ IoT. The government should create regulatory framework to best utilize the innovative advantages of IoT.
