In light of SARS-CoV-2's significant impact, human society has experienced rapid changes in lifestyle that it has not yet experienced before. One way this virus has influenced people's lives is the emergence of the zero-contact society, an initiative for preventing the spread of infectious diseases. As can be seen, the social impact of COVID-19 is widespread. Various issues, such as those about government policy, personal information protection, and health care, are affecting society as a whole. At the same time, factual information is difficult to track and record because of the rapid and transient nature of related events and issues. As such, a method of effectively describing COVID-19 and real-time information is necessary. The "COVID-19: Our Memory" project is an attempt to record the sociocultural impact of the coronavirus infection. This project collects major events and issues classified into several subjects, records those events from a neutral point of view, and develops a digital archive so that all records are accessible. All the data collected and built through the project, the application, including the source code and visualization, are all published to bring about new opportunities for collaboration.

This paper considers the relationship between ethics and archives by asking the question "who is the archivist?". Aside from this, the researcher also emphasized the following theses. First, archival science should search for ethics as a discourse and not just the Code of Ethics. Second, an archivist should state his/her view in their archives field. Third, archival science should search for both personal and practical knowledge. Aside from these, this article argues also that an epistemological approach is necessary for ethics.

여느 해와 마찬가지로 2012년도 다사다난했다는 말로 정리할 수 있을 것 같다. 그중에서도 인쇄문화산업 진흥 5개년 계획의 발표는 우리 인쇄업계의 숙원이 이뤄진 뜻 깊은 사건으로 기록될 수 있을 것이다. 하지만 바닥을 모르고 침체를 더해가는 경기불황은 인쇄인의 주름살을 더욱 깊게 만들었다.

시간에 따라 변화하는 사건을 기록하는 시간 데이타베이스에서는 사건을 저장할 때 시간 속성도 같이 저장한다. 최근에는 시간 데이타베이스의 속성을 고려하여 집지 함수와 같이 기존의 연산자를 확장하여 시간 데이타베이스에서 효율적으로 처리하려는 연구가 활발하게 진행되어 왔다. 사용자들은 종종 여러 애트리뷰트에 가중치를 두고 그 가중치 순서대로 결과가 보여지는 순위 질의를 실행한다. 기존의 순위 질의 개념을 그대로 시간 지인 데이타메이스에서 사용할 수 없다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 기존의 순위 질의에 시간 개념을 확장한 시간 순위 질의를 정의한다. 또한 시간 순위 질의 처리방법을 제 시 한다.

The president of the country has a very significant political role, but the study of the history about the presidency has not really been emphasized. This study is to examine how to apply the online contents about presidential history to elementary education. The documentaries presented in elementary social studies have a great effect on elementary students because their cognitive development is accelerated by understanding modern Korean history along with the presidential history and political issues through historical records. Therefore, this study focuses on investigating the method of application of the presidential history by having the presidential historian build online contents and provide this information to teachers and students.

Many local governments in Korea provide online services for people to easily access the audio-visual archives of events occurring in the area. However, the current method of managing these archives of the local governments has several problems in terms of compatibility with other organizations and convenience for searching of the archives because of the lack of standard metadata and the low utilization of image information. To solve these problems, we propose the metadata design and machine learning-based automatic indexing technology for the efficient management of the image archives of local governments in Korea. Moreover, we design metadata items specialized for the image archives of local governments to improve the compatibility and include the elements that can represent the basic information and characteristics of images into the metadata items, enabling efficient management. In addition, the text and objects in images, which include pieces of information that reflect events and categories, are automatically indexed based on the machine learning technology, enhancing users' search convenience. Lastly, we developed the program that automatically extracts text and objects from image archives using the proposed method, and stores the extracted contents and basic information in the metadata items we designed.

Since the launch of the Moon Jae-in government in May 2017, the records and archives community hoped to overcome the delays in records and archives management over the past nine years and to pursue record and archives management innovation. This article focuses on the record and archives management innovation that the National Archives of Korea has been pursuing in the public records and archives management sector for about 3 years until the first half of 2020, and evaluates the progress and contents focusing on the main agent, innovation plan, revision of laws, and major events.

2006년 2월, 뉴욕 소더비 경매에서 에드워드 스타이켄의 1904년작 <연못과 달빛>이 사진 작품으로서는 세계 최고가인 30억 원에 판매됐다. 그러고는 이듬해 2월, 안드레 구르스키의 2001년작 <99센트 II>가 런던 소더비에서 약 34억 원에 팔리며 이전 기록을 갱신했다. 불과 1년 사이 생겨난 이 기록들은 미술 시장에서 사진의 위치가 급부상하고 있음을 보여주는 상징적인 사건으로, 두 작품의 제작 시기가 거의 100년 가까이 차이가 난다는 점에서 많은 시사점을 준다.

한국원자력연구소에서는 고준위 방사성폐기물 처분 시스템의 안전성을 투명하게평가하기 위한 방안의 하나로 처분 안전성 관련 시나리오와 구성 요소들인 FEP, 그리고 각 시나리오 별 안전성 평가 방안들을 종합한 프로그램인 FEAS를 개발하고 있다. 고준위 방사성 폐기물 처분 연구는 관련 전문가 뿐 아니라 일반 국민들도 안전성에 관해 많은 관심을 표명하고 있는 바 현재 국내에서 고려하고 있는 처분 개념은 무엇이며 처분장 안전성 평가를 위해서 고려하고 있는 제 사건들은 무엇이며 이들 시나리오를 구성하는 세부 사건들은 무엇인가에 관한 합의를 도출하고 이와 관련된 기록들을 보존하고 각각 세부 사건들에 관해 현재의 평가 방안과 데이터 수집 현황 그리고 해외 사례 등을 체계적으로 정리하는 일은 중요하다. 현재 개발되고 있는 FEAS는 이와 같은 역할을 수행할 뿐 아니라 이 프로그램과 동시에 개발되고 있는 입력 자료 데이터 시스템, 웹을 기반으로 한 품질 보증 체제 및 안전성 평가 방안 등과 향후 연계되어 모든 국민들이 방사성 폐기물 처분장의 안전성을 쉽게 이해할 수 있는 수단으로 확장될 예정이다.

사건 현장을 재현하는 것은 수사에서 매우 중요한 일이다. CCTV가 현장 파악에 유용하기는 하지만 세부적인 상황파악에는 한계가 있다. 현대는 디지털 시대인 만큼 사건 현장에서는 많은 디지털 흔적이 남게 된다. 스마트폰의 디지털 흔적도 사고경위 파악에 유용하다. 본 논문에서는 특히 안드로이드 스마트폰의 블루투스 디지털 기록을 이용하여 보다 정교하게 현장을 재현하는 방법에 대하여 연구하였다.
