Cost Analysis for Assessment of Reconstruction Projects (재건축사업의 진단평가를 위한 비용분석)

  • The objective procedure and criterion needs to efficiently perform the safety assessment and improve reliability for results of the cost analysis. There are many studies about cost analysis of safety assessment, but the these studies have problems such as non-quantification of criterions and methods. The purpose of this study to suggest the procedure and criterion for successful cost analysis and quantify cost factors. First, in the cost analysis of the housing reconstruction that is presented this study, determinate the life-cycle and the discount rate, then estimate reconstruction cost and remodeling cost. Finally, compare the annual equivalent LCC of two costs for decision malting to reconstruction or remodeling.

  • In this paper, we propose an improved method on an adaptive application of the CPP(Chinese Postman Problem) algorithm to the protocol test suite generation for conformance testing. Also, we present an example application of this CPP algorithm to B-ISDN Q.2931 call/connection control procedure for the purpose of showing how it can be adapted to generate a test suite for conformance testing of a communication protocol. The proposed method has an advantage of an optimization technique which finds a minimum cost of test suite from a standardized specification, so this optimization technique of the CPP algorithm can be practically applied to a real environment for testing a conformity of a protocol implementation.

  • The introduction of the Korea toxics use reduction (TUR) program to build a clean society is generally evaluated based on social economic criteria. Among various techniques, benefit-cost analysis is the most commonly used. This method is focused on the calculation and comparison of all the benefits and costs attributable to the TUR program. However, since it is reasonable to consider not only economic criteria but also policy criteria in the process of evaluation, it is necessary to reflect on the criteria weights found in the benefits and costs. This study aims at developing a new evaluation technique to achieve this purpose and apply it to the Korean TUR program to be implemented in 2020. This study selected competitiveness, toxic substances' emission reduction ratio, and health improvement as policy criteria. The Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) technique was initially used to calculate the weight and then, based on the results, the concept of information entropy introduced by Claude Shannon was used to eliminate subjective bias. As a result of the study, it was found that the revised benefit-cost analysis considering the weights of the policy criteria, as well as the existing economic criteria, could be a reasonable alternative in evaluating the feasibility of TUR regulations for highly toxic substances.

A Study on the Hardware Cost Estimation Equation of Professional Service Robot (전문서비스 로봇 하드웨어 비용추정 관계식 개발에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, we proposed a parametric estimation method for estimating H/W cost by using the development data of professional service robot in Korea. In addition, we derived the factors and weights that we can estimate the costs depending on the application environmental conditions of the robot. For the analysis, we developed the equation of professional service robot cost estimation using parametric method. We also derived the adjustment factors and following weights through FGI and Delphi for environmental conditions. We have developed a cost estimation equation that reflects the weight, volume, and manufacturing difficulty, and can derive a relational equation that reflects the environmental factors(dust/water, heat/cold, safety, test, technology innovation). This provides an objective basis for estimating the cost of professional service robots and will lead to ongoing research for estimating the H/W development cost of professional service robots. In the future, we will increase reliability by collecting abundant data, and will strengthen models through finding functional factors.

  • Consumer satisfaction/dissatisfaction is key determinant of brand loyalty and store patronage behavior. But the results of many customer satisfaction surveys implemented by department stores show that consumer satisfactions do not predict the actual patronage behaviors well. The main reason of these surprising results would be that the consumer satisfaction indexes do not include some important determinants of consumer satisfaction. Many customer satisfaction surveys mainly focus on the evaluation of functional benefits including product assortments, merchandise prices and locational convenience. Recent studies indicate that emotional/hedonic benefits strongly influence the consumer satisfaction, intention to repurchase and intention to revisit. Our study suggests that both functional values and hedonic values should be included in developing the index of consumer satisfactions. The purpose of our study is to investigate the relationship between shopping value and consumer satisfaction, and actual patronage behavior. Shopping values is defined as the difference between total benefits and total shopping costs. Total benefits include the dimensions of product quality, service quality, and hedonic benefits. Total costs are classified as the monetary costs and non-monetary cost. The conceptual framework developed for this empirical study is as follows.

  • In this paper, we investigate if the new merchant fee system has problems. The fee was fixed by government policies and there were no processes of listening to market participants. Therefore, we suggest improvements as follows. First, large-sized stores take burdens for the rest of stores so credit card companies and the government should try to minimize the increasing rate for large-sized stores. Second, credit card firms need to give VAN companies roles of stabilizing authorizing processes. Third, periodic update requires because of credibility. Fourth, contents of merchant fee should be disclosed to merchants. Fifth, there needs discussions for merchant fees of debit cards.

The Comparison of Indicators for Selecting Familiar Labels of Information Items in Web Pages (친숙한 웹 페이지 정보 항목명 선택을 위한 지표 비교)

  • While sharing information through Internet by Web page or XML, familiar labels of information items will reduce the confusion among users. The advises of the language experts for choosing familiar terms may cost money and time, but an automated Indicator can help a user select right terms without any cost. This paper collects Indicators that can be easily found over Internet and compares the efficiency of them for selecting familiar terms. The collected indicators are the number of words in a term, the frequency used in a related Web sites, and the number of search results in portal sites. The results conclude that the found terms by the frequency matches 76% for women's and 71% for men's, which tells that the frequency can be a reference for selecting familiar terms.

  • 지진이 발생하는 환경에서 철근콘크리트구조의 신뢰성을 수명주기비용에 근거하여 체계적으로 평가하는 방법을 제시하였다. 구조물의 기능성과 경제적인 효용성을 나타내기 위하여 각각 손상확률과 평균수명 주기비용의 개념을 사용하였다. 생애주기 동안 발생할 수 있는 지진에 의하여 구조물이 입게 될 손상을 보상하기 위하여 소요되는 평균손상비용을 평균수명주기비용의 주요 항목으로 고려하여 분석하였다. 구조물의 다양한 손상상태에서 손상비용을 나타내기 위해 요구되는 비용함수는 Park-Ang 손상지수의 중앙값을 독립변수로 하는 함수로 가정하였다. 지진에 의한 구조물의 손상해석은 UCI에서 개발된 SMART-DRAIN의 시뮬레이션기법을 사용하여 그 불확실성을 고려하였다. 제시된 방법을 현행 규준에 의하여 설계된 7층 사무실 건물에 적용하여 그 가능성을 살펴보았다.

An Efficient Algorithm for Mining Association Rules using a Compound Hash Tree (복합 해쉬트리를 이용한 효율적인 연관규칙 탐사 알고리즘)

  • 본 논문에서는 대용량 데이터베이스에서 효율적인 연관 규칙 탐사에 대한 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 제안하는 알고리즘은 복합 해쉬 트리를 사용하여 해쉬 트리 탐색 비용과 데이터베이스 스캔 비용을 동시에 줄임으로서 성능을 향상시켰다. 복합 해쉬 트리는 같은 크기의 항목집합들 대신에 크기가 다른 여러 항목집합을 하나의 해쉬 트리로 구성한다. 복합 해쉬 트리의 유용성을 보이기 위하여 제안한 알고리즘은 잘 알려져 있는 Apriori, DHP 방밥과 수행 시간 측면에서 성능 비교를 하였다. 그 결과 대부분의 최소 지지도에서제안한 알고리즘이 Apriori, DHP 방법보다 우수하게 나타났으며, 최소 지지도가 0.5% 이하인 경우 DHP 방법에 비하여 약 30%의 이득 향상이 있었다.

  • 최근 가스안전관리에 대한 관심이 고조되면서 가스안전에 대한 예방비용 차원의 가스안전관리투자 및 향후 투자규모 산정의 필요성이 제기되고 있다. 현행 제도하에서는 가스안전관리 개념과 투자항목이 고시되어 있으나 구체적으로 정의되지 않아, 시행상의 어려움으로 인한 현장적용 및 해석상의 어려움이 있어, 현행 기준에 의할 경우 가스안전관리투자에 대한 개념이 상이하여 상호 비교가능성이 저해되고 있으며, 안전관리투자의 효율성 판단에 적절한 자료를 제공하지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 보다 효과적인 가스안전관리투자를 위해서 가스안전관리의 개념을 규정하고 가스안전관리 투자항목 결정하기 위해 사회과학적인 접근방법을 시도하였다.
