Vector Control of SPMSM Using MATLAB/SIMULINK & dSPACE 1104 System (MATLAB/SIMULINK와 dSPACE 1104 시스템을 이용한 표면 부착형 영구자석 동기전동기 벡터제어)

  • This paper presents a vector control implementation for SPMSM(Surface-mounted Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor) using dSPACE 1104 system and MATLAB/SIMULINK. SPMSM can be treated as a DC motor provided that currents of flux and torque component are controlled independently using vector control. Therefore various control algorithms for conventional DC motor control can be adopted to SPMSM. The system is designed to improve set-point tracking capability, fast response, and accuracy In This paper, d-q equivalent modeling of PMSM is derived based on vector control theory. PI controller is used for speed control and decoupling PI controller is used for current control. For the implementation of high performance vector control system, dSPACE 1104 system is used. Experiments were carried out to examine validity of the proposed vector control implementation.

  • 본 논문에서는 PMSM에서 단위 전류당 최대 토크를 발생시키는 MTPA(Maximum Torque Per Ampere)제어에 기반한 센서리스 V/f 운전 기법을 제안한다. 기존의 센서리스 V/f 운전에서는 MTPA 제어가 고려되지 않아 구동 효율이 감소하는데 본 논문에서는 d축 전류를 기반으로 비례적분기 제어기를 사용하여 개선하였다. 또한 부하 변동에 대한 우수한 동특성과 안정성을 갖도록 하였다. 250W 블로워용 PMSM(Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor)에 대한 실험을 통해 그 효용성을 확인하였다.

  • PD 제어기는 산업현장에 가장 널리 운영되는 제어알고리즘이지만 지금까지 보편적으로 사용되고 있는 PID 파라메터 동조방법인 Ziegler-Nichols 동조법으로는 화학공정 같은 비선형 특성이 크거나, 시정수가 큰 플래트에서는 좋은 성능을 얻을 수 없다. 본 논문에서는 릴레이 동조 실험을 통하여 임계 이득과 발진주기를 구하고, 이 값들로부터 Z-N 동조법을 적용하여 초기 동조값을 구한다. 이 값에 의해서 얻어진 공정 출력의 오차와 오차변화율을 입력으로 한 퍼지 동조기를 통하여 PID 제어기의 비례이득과 적분시간을 구하는 동조 방법을 제시한다.

Containment Control for Second-order Multi-agent Systems with Input Saturations (입력 포화를 고려한 2차 다중 에이전트 시스템을 위한 봉쇄제어)

  • In this paper, we study the containment control problem for second-order multi-agent systems, which consists of multiple leaders and followers. The goal is to drive the followers toward the convex hull spanned by the leaders. Thus, the swarm behavior can be obtained by controlling the entire group by the leaders. This paper considers the leaders move at a constant speed and the followers have input saturations. Moreover, we assume that the followers can exchange information with neighbors, and only relative state information is available. Under these assumptions, we propose the Proportional-Integral based distributed control algorithm to solve the containment control problem with moving leaders. Moreover, based on Lasalle's invariance principle, the conditions for the control gains that guarantee the convergence of the followers to the convex hull spanned by the leaders are investigated, and it was shown that it can be designed only using the system parameter. Finally, the simulations are conducted to validate the theoretical result.

Study on the Performance Improvement of Marine Engine Generator Exciter Control using Neural Network Controller (신경망 회로 제어기를 이용한 선박 엔진 발전기의 여자기 제어 성능 개선에 관한 연구)

  • The exciter of a ship generator adjusts the magnetic flux through excitation current control to maintain the output terminal voltage constant. The voltage controller inside the exciter typically uses a proportional integral control method. however, the response characteristics determined by the gain and time constant produce unwanted output owing to an inappropriate setting value that can reduce the quality and stability of power within the ship. In this study, a neural network circuit is learned using stable input/output data that can be obtained through the AC4A type exciter model provided by IEEE, and the simulation is performed by replacing the existing proportional integral control type voltage controller with the learned neural network circuit controller. Consequently, overshooting was improved by up to 9.63% compared with that of the previous model, and excellence in stable response characteristics was confirmed.

  • 본 논문에서는 신경회로망의 학습능력을 이용하여 AC 모터의 속도제어에 이용된 기 존의 PI제어기의 문제점을 보완하고자 한다. 기존의 아날로그 PI제어기에서는 각 비례, 적분 파라메타를 개발자가 조정하여 고정하면 부하가 변동될 경우 적응성이 떨어지는 문제점을 안고 있었다. 본 논문에서 제시된 디지털 신경망제어기는 학습을 통해 새로운 환경에 적응 가능하다는 점에 가정하여 설계하고 성능을 비교 평가하였다. 본 논문에서 사용된 신경회로 망의 구조는 신경망중에서 가장 범용적으로 사용되는 다층 퍼셉트론 모델구조를 선택하였 다. 신경망 제어기장치로는 인텔 8097 마이크로 콘트롤러를 이용하였다.

A study on proportional multiple-resonance controller for harmonic distortion compensation of single phase VSIs (단상 전압 소스 인버터의 고조파 왜곡 보상을 위한 비례 다중 공진 제어기에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, simulation and experimental results are presented, including the implementation of a digital controller for robust output voltage control of a single-phase voltage source inverters (VSIs) and total harmonic distortion (T.H.D.v) analysis. Typically, the VSIs uses a proportional integral (PI) controller for the current controller on the inner loop and a proportional resonant (PR) controller for the voltage controller on the outer loop to control the output voltage. However, non-linear loads still produce high-order odd harmonic distortion. Therefore, in this paper, a proportional multiple resonance (PMR) controller with a resonance controller for odd harmonic frequencies is proposed to suppress harmonic distortion. Analyze the frequency response of controllers for VSI plants and design PMR controllers. Through simulation, the total harmonic distortion characteristics of the output voltage are compared and verified when PI and PMR are used as voltage controllers. Both linear and non-linear loading conditions were considered. Finally, the effectiveness of the PMR controller was demonstrated by applying it to a 3kW VSIs prototype.

  • Solid propulsion systems have simple structures compared to other propulsion systems and are suitable for long-term storage. However the systems generally have limits on control of thrust levels. In this paper we suggest control algorithms for combustion chamber pressure of variable thrust solid propulsion systems using special nozzles such as pintle valve. For the pressure control within the chamber, we use a simple pressure change model by considering only mass conservation within the combustion chamber, design a classical algorithm and also a nonlinear controller using the feedback linearization technique. Also we derive the equation of the thrust for an under-expanded one-dimensional nozzle and then design a proportional-intergral controller after linearizing the thrust model for an operating point. Finally, we demonstrate the performance of the controller through a numerical simulation.

  • In this paper, an improved method is proposed to eliminate the chattering for Sliding Mode Controller. The differential-calculus of a switching function is converged to a particular constant or the proportional term so that the chattering in transient state is eliminated in the conventional method. However, by using the improved method, it is converged to its proportional-integral term so that the chattering is eliminated in transient state and steady state both. The computer simulation for brushless DC motor speed controller is used to compare the improved method with the conventional method and to verify the useful effect of the method in this paper.
