AN ANALYSIS OF SOFT TISSUE PROFILE (연조직 측모에 관한 분석)

  • The purpose of this study to analyze characteristics of soft tissue profile in Korean young adults. The sample consisted of 50 young adults (25 males and B females) who had pleasing and normal occlusion. Soft tissue analysis (facial convexity angle, nasolabial angle, H-angle, Z-angle, E-line to upper lip, lower lip, Sn-pog' to upper lip, lower lip) was performed on lateral cephlograms. Mem and standard deviation was obtained. When compared by other studies, mean profile of this sample was relatively straighter and both the upper and lower lips was more protrusive.

  • 녹용이 동물체에 미치는 영향을 조사하기 위한 일환으로 녹용 침출액을 집토끼에 주사한 후 여기에서 여섯개의 조직(골격근, 간, 신장, 부신, 비장, 심장근)을 선택 적출하여 disc-gel electrophoresis로 수용성 단백 분획상을 비교 하여 보았다. 대조군과 5일간 주사한 군에서 간, 신장, 부신, 비장에서는 서로 동일한 영동분획상이 나타났으나 골격근과 심장근에서는 대조군보다 실험군(5일간과 15일간 녹용침출액을 주사한 군)의 영동대에서 하나의 영동대가 더 나타났다. 한편 15일간 주사한 실험군과 5일간 주사한 실험군 사이에서는 단백분 획상의 차이점이 없음을 알았다. 이와 같은 변화는 녹용의 어떤 특수성분이 주로 근육형 조직에서만 백질을 합성하는 기작에 영향을 끼친 것이 아닌가 사려된다.

A MORPHOLOGICAL STUDY ON THE SOFT AND HARD TISSUE FACIAL PROFILE OF HARMONIOUS KOREAN YOUNG ADULT FEMALES (조화된 측모상의 연경조직의 형태학적 연구 - 한국인 성인여자에 대하여 -)

  • 본 연구목적은 여자성인교정을 위한 치료목표를 수립하기 위한 기준을 설정하는데 있다. 이용된 연구자료는 96명의 한국인 TV탈랜트와 영화배우 또는 패션모델중 교합과 안모를 평가하여 선정된 30명의 측모두부X선규격사진이었으며 선정된 표본의 평균연령은 20.16세였다. 연구방법은 측모경조직분석을 위해 Downs분석, Northwestern분석, Steiner분석, Wylie분석, Tweed분석, Dimensional linear분석법이 이용되었고 측모연조직분석을 위해 Holdaway연조직분석법이 적용되었다. 조사된 계측치들은 Apple II 48K system을 이용하여 각항목에 대한 평균치와 표준편차를 산출하였으며 백인, 한국인, 일본인의 기존계측치와 비교하였다. 그 연구결과는 다음과 같다. I. 경조직분석 (1) 본 연구와 백인과의 비교 본 연구에서는 백인에 비해 하악이 후퇴되었고 상${\cdot}$하악절치는 순측경사를 보였다. 또한 하악하연경사가 심했다. (2) 본 연구와 한국인정상성인여자(이 연구)의 계측치 비교 이의 연구계측치에 비해서 상악이 후퇴되어있고 상${\cdot}$하악절치는 설측경사를 보였다. 따라서 본 연구의 안모형태는 이의 한국인정상성인여자에 비해서 직선형안모를 보였다. (3) 본 연구와 일본정상인의 계측치 비교 일본정상인에 비해 하악이 돌출되었고 상${\cdot}$하절치는 설측경사를 보였다. 또한 안모의 상부고경과 하악크기는 일본정상인에 비해 크게 나타났다. II. 연조직분석 연조직분석의 11항목중 H-선에 대한 연조직 subnasal과 하순의 계측치가 Holdaway의 acceptable range를 벗어났다. 그 이유는 본연구에서 하악이 상대적으로 후퇴양상을 보였기 때문이라고 사료된다. 이외항목의 계측치들이 acceptable range내에 있다는 것은 연조직이 경조직의 이동에 따라 움직이고 있음을 의미한다. III. Downs분석, Northwestern분석, Steiner분석, Wylie분석, Tweed분석, Dimensional linear measurements분석을 위한 평균치, 표준편차, Polygon도표를 작성함으로써 한국성인여자교정의 진단과 치료목표를 정하는데 지침이 된다고 사료된다.

An Empirical Study on the Effect of Emotional Intelligence and Logic Intelligence on Organizational Citizenship Behavior - Moderating Effect of Emotional Labor - (감성지능과 논리지능이 조직시민행동에 미치는 영향 - 감정노동의 조절효과 -)

  • The purposes of this paper are to examine the effect of emotional intelligence and logic intelligence on organizational citizenship behavior and to examine the moderating effect of intelligence labor on these relationship. For these purposes, literature review and survey research were conducted. The 420 questionnaires were sent to the 12 manufactural firms in the Busan and Kyungsang Nam-Do region for empirical analysis. Total 363 usable responses were collected(effective response rate : 86.40%). The major findings of the empirical research are as follows ; First, emotional intelligence and logic intelligence have positive influence organizational citizenship behavior. but emotional intelligence have more positive influence than logic intelligence on organizational citizenship behavior. Second, emotional intelligence has differential influence on organizational citizenship behavior by emotional labor, but logic intelligence hasn't that. In conclusion, emotional intelligence is expected to improve organizational citizenship behavior which is extra-role behavior in an organization. Therefore, managers have to develop organizational citizenship behavior by exhibiting emotional intelligence, considering emotional labor.

A Study on the Organizational Culture of University Libraries (대학도서관 조직문화에 관한 연구)

  • This study attempts to identify a profile of the university library's overall organizational culture and to analyze the difference of the organizational culture according to library's characteristics(size, location, control and unit). A questionnaire that is based on the competing values framework is used to survey staff in university library. In conclusion, the highest score is in the internal process quadrant(39.92), toward consolidation and continuity, but emphasizing control aimed at stability. And the weakest in the overall culture profile is the open systems quadrant(13.27) which may indicate that external support and resource acquisition are not strong measures of effectiveness to the staff. Research on university library organizational culture using both qualitative and quantitative method needs to be further considered. Furthermore, the strategy in library organizational culture for library administrator to manage human resources efficiently needs to be developed.

  • The propagation characteristics of a mechanical wave in human soft tissue depend on its elastic properties. Investigation of these propagation characteristics is of paramount importance because it may enable us to diagnose cancer or tumor from the vibration response of the tissue. This paper investigates and compares displacement patterns generated in soft tissue due to several forms of low-frequency vibration sources placed on a surface. Among vibration sources considered are a normal load, tangential load, and antiplane shear load. We derive analytical expressions for displacements in viscoelastic single layers, and calculate displacement patterns in half space and infinite plate type tissue. Also, we simulate the vibration response of a finite-sized tissue using finite element method. The effects of the type of stress, the size and frequency of vibration sources, and medium boundaries on displacement patterns are discussed.

Characteristics in Tissue Cultured Plants of Chinese foxglove(Rehmannia glutinosa) (지황 조직배양주의 수량성과 성분함량 특성)

  • Chinese foxglove(Rehmannia glutinosa) is receiving much attention as one of the principal medicinal crops and the crud drug. This study was conducted to obtain the basic breeding information of Chinese foxglove derived from tissue culture. To compare plant characteristics between local variety and tissue cultured seedlings, plant growth and root yield has been investigated. In addition, catalpol and free sugar contents were also analized. The ability for the storage of root stock originated from tissue culture seedlings were better than that of local variety. The growth and root yield of in vitro propagated plants were superior to those of conventionally propagated plants. Root yield of 1-year-old and 2-year-old seedlings investigated 112% and 246% respectively than Seacheon local shows 384 kg/10 a. Although there were no significant different between tissue culture seedlings and conventionally propagated one, slight decline of component contents in tissue culture plants were still existed. Investigated sugar content among Seocheon local, 1-year-old tissue culture seedlings, and 2-year-old tissue culture seedlings were 1.86%, 1.21%, and 1.10% respectively. Catalpol content as one of standard materials indicates 0.46% in Seocheon local and 0.40% in tissue cultured ones.

Cooking Quality of Noodle Affected by NaCl (NaCl이 국수의 조리특성에 미치는 영향)

  • This study introduced the effects of various additives to boiling water on cooking quality of noodle. Addition of 1% NaCl to cooking water showed a low amount of water absorption and good texture than the addition of sugar, oil and acid at 1% concentration. Adding NaCl was effective on noodle texture and quality improvement. Cooking quality was increased with increasing concentration of NaCl. The texture of noodle showed that addition of 6% NaCl was significantly different from no addition of NaCl.

Histologic Effects of a Contact Diode Laser on Intraoral Soft Tissue (접촉식 다이오드레이저조사가 구강연조직에 미치는 조직학적 영향)

  • 본 연구는 두 가지 관점, 즉 다이오드레이저를 구강연조직에 접촉식으로 조사하여 조직을 절제할 경우 첫째 심부조직에서의 온도 상승 정도에 대한 분석 평가, 둘째 절제에 따른 조직의 열적 응고에 대한 조직학적 분석 평가를 위해 시도되었다. 연구를 위해 도축된 소의 혀 배면으로부터 5.0mm깊이에 T형 열전대(type T thermocouple)를 설치하고 조사조건에 따른 레이저절제 도주의 온도변화를 측정하고, 또한 해당조사부위의 조직을 대상으로 통법에 의한 H-E염색 후 조직학적 측면에서 열적 응고상을 검색하여 Nd:YAG레이저의 경우에서와 비교하였다. 즉 파장815nm의 다이오드레이저를 0-10W의 출력, 50Hz와 연속파의 주파수조건에서 접촉식으로 조사하였으며, 또한 파장1064nm의 Nd:YAG레이저를 0-10W의 출력, 50Hz와 100Hz의 주파수 조건에서 접촉식으로 조사하였다. 레이저의 접촉조사시 레이저광섬유 첨단부에서 10(10gm의 일정한 압력과 25mm/sec의 이동속도로 조직을 절제하였다. 레이저가 접촉조사된 조직부위를 통법에 의해 조직학적으로 H-E염색을 시행하였으며, 계측현미경을 이용하여 10배율 아래에서 조직절제의 폭과 깊이, 측방 및 하방 쪽으로 열적 응고의 폭을 계측하였다. 계측치에 대한 통계학적 처리결과 조직절제의 폭과 측방쪽으로 열적응고의 폭은 다이오드레이저에와 Nd:YAG레이저에서 같은 정도를 나타냈다. 조직절제의 깊이는 Nd:YAG레이저에서에 비해 다이오드레이저에서 더 깊었다. 하방쪽으로의 열적응고의 폭은 Nd:YAG레이저를 10Hz의 조건에서 조사한 경우에서 가장 넓었으며, 다이오드레이저를 50Hz와 연속파의 조건에서 조사한 경우에서 가장 좁았다. 레이저절제 도중 심부조직에서의 온도변화는 다이오드 레이저에서와 Nd:YAG레이저에서 모두 출력이 증가함에 따라 상승되었으며, 다이오드레이저에서 보다 Nd:YAG레이저에서 더 높이 상승되었다. 결론적으로 본 연구에서 시도된 조사조건 범위 이내에서는 구강연조직 절제시 다이오드레이저가 펄스형 광섬유 전달식 Nd:YAG레이저 보다 심부조직에서의 낮은 온도상승과 하방쪽으로의 좁은 열적 응고의 폭을 보이면서 우수한 조직절제효과를 나타냈다.

Histopathological changes in fingerlings of Japanese flounder, Paralichthys olivaceus, with severe scuticociliatosis (스쿠지카섬모충에 중감염된 넙치 (Paralichthys olivaceus) 치어에 대한 병리조직학적 관찰)

  • In order to elucidate the patterns of tissue damage evoked by the scuticociliatids, eighteen fingerlings of Japanese flounder, Paralichthys olivaceus, heavily infected with an unidentified scuticociliatid were histopathologically examined. Skin layer with the underlying musculature were severely necrotized due to the infestation of the ciliates. However in the early lesions, both dermis and myofibres remained relatively intact compared with other surrounding loose connective tissues. Mild damages were found in more dense tissues. One or more scuticociliatids were recognized in the blood and lymph vessels of the loose connective tissues with or without destructive changes. Many of nerve trunks or ganglia were also parasitized with less marked histological damage in the parenchyma. Dura and its adjacent tissues in the spinal cord were severely necrotized with massive accumulation of the ciliates in subdural space. The parasitic invasion in the central nervous system was usually confined to the cortical region. In the gill, variable degenerative changes were occurred due to the invasion of the ciliates recognized in the blood vessels of branchial arches or primary filaments. From these results, it was strongly suggested that the scuticociliatids are very actively penetrated into the deep tissues mainly through the severe destruction of the loose connective tissue components and that the vascular system could play a role in the rapid distribution of the ciliates to the remote tissues or organs.
