The Performance Analysis of a Return Air Bypass Air Conditioning System by a Simulator Experiment (실물실험에 의한 순환공기 바이패스 공조시스템의 성능분석)

  • Bypass air conditioning systems are divided into three types; outdoor air bypass, mixed air bypass and return air bypass system. Among bypass air conditioning systems, a return air bypass system is more effective than other two systems because it doesn't induce unconditioned outdoor air into conditioned room. The numerical study on the bypass air conditioning system shows this system can maintain indoor RH(Relative Humidity) less than a conventional CAV (Constant Air Volume) air conditioning system by adjusting face and bypass dampers at part load. A simulator was built to compare results of a numerical experiment and those of a simulator experiment. The results of the simulator experiment was nearly same as those of the numerical experiment; when a design sensible load (the ratio of sensible load to total sensible load) was 70 percent (at this time, RSHF=0.7), indoor relative humidity (in case of both numerical experiments and simulator experiments) was maintained below 60% specified by ASHRAE STANDARD 62-1999. The bypass air conditioning system is expected to be applied to many buildings where the Percentage of latent loads or air change tate is high.

  • Due to the global warming and energy exhaustion, energy efficiency improvement of construction is recognized the stream of times. To improve the efficiency of the building, in order to energy saving, passive elements should be applied. Then the first step be supposed that applying the new standards about the insulation boundary. The current insulation boundary standards are not reasonable as well as does not divide the purposes. As a result, energy is being wasted and many civil complaints are also occurred. To improve these problems, applying the insulation boundary need to divide the heating and non-heating and subdivide the purpose of construction. In this study, accurate real heating and air conditioning areas are presented that work on the new insulation boundary of purposes and applicable standards. This proposed, by the real heating and air conditioning areas, insulation boundary of purposes, matching the reasonable capacity and load of equipment, by working on standards by optimal maintenance can be energy saving, to present guidelines that environment improvement of actual residents as well as energy saving be expected.

  • In this study, distributed the ship's Centralized Air Conditioning System the way an individual to replace the air conditioning system by using Air-cooled air conditioner. Research results, Individually separated air conditioning system complement the heat source control and thermal efficiency problems and improves the efficiency of the device was confirmed. In addition, under the same conditions refrigeration capacity and coefficient of performance of the device, an average of about 3 %, 23 ~ 26 %, higher, Chilled Water Plants Compressor power consumption is about 12 % lower. Also while heating under the same conditions, power consumption is about 33.5 % lower. Therefore Individually Separated Air Conditioning System greatly contributed to the improved performance of the device and living spaces for comfortable temperature and humidity control as well as heating source could be obtained.

공조덕트용 능동소음제어 장치

  • 이 글은 평면파 소음의 감소 성능을 향상시키고 고차모드로 전달되는 소음의 감소도 가능한 공 조덕트용 능동소음제어장치의 개발에 대하여 논하였으며, 실험결과 개발된 능동소음제어장치의 성능 및 안전성이 기 상품화되어 있는 외국의 제품에 비해 손색없이 뛰어남을 발견하였다. 능 동소음제어장치는 앞으로 고도의 청정, 정숙환경이 요구되는 반도체공장, 방송국 등에 폭넓은 적용이 기대되며, 기존의 흡음처리 대책보다 설치, 보수 및 유지가 간편하다. 특히 덕트내 주요 소음원인 블로워의 소음특성이 저주파 부근에 에너지가 집중되어 있음을 고려할 때 능동소음제 어기술의 공조덕트내 소음제어에의 적용은 매우 효과적이며 경제적일 것으로 기대된다.

  • 압축기는 냉동 . 공조 사이클에서 냉매를 압축하여 순환시키는 기능을 한다. 냉동 . 공조 사이클 에서 압축기의 효율 COP는 압축기 모터 입력에 대한 증발기에서의 냉각 능력의 비로서 정의 된다. 따라서 압축기 자체의 특성도 중요하지만 냉매의 열역학적 물성도 중요한 역할을 한다. 압축기의 효율향상문제가 최근에 대두되게 된 것은 첫 째, 몬트리올 협정에 의해 CFC의 사용이 제한되면서 새로 검토하게 된 대체냉매들의 열물성이 CFC보다 불리한 점과 둘째, 에너지 소비를 줄이려는 인식이 환경 측면에서 확산되고 있기 때문이다. 이 글에서는 압축기 효율을 결정하는 주요요소에 대하여 알아보고 최근 국내외에서 이루어지고 있는 효율향상 성과에 대하여 소개하 기로 한다.

Classification of nasal places of articulation based on the spectra of adjacent vowels (모음 스펙트럼에 기반한 전후 비자음 조음위치 판별)

  • This study examined the utility of the acoustic features of vowels as cues for the place of articulation of Korean nasal consonants. In the acoustic analysis, spectral and temporal parameters were measured at the 25%, 50%, and 75% time points in the vowels neighboring nasal consonants in samples extracted from a spontaneous Korean speech corpus. Using these measurements, linear discriminant analyses were performed and classification accuracies for the nasal place of articulation were estimated. The analyses were applied separately for vowels following and preceding a nasal consonant to compare the effects of progressive and regressive coarticulation in terms of place of articulation. The classification accuracies ranged between approximately 50% and 60%, implying that acoustic measurements of vowel intervals alone are not sufficient to predict or classify the place of articulation of adjacent nasal consonants. However, given that these results were obtained for measurements at the temporal midpoint of vowels, where they are expected to be the least influenced by coarticulation, the present results also suggest the potential of utilizing acoustic measurements of vowels to improve the recognition accuracy of nasal place. Moreover, the classification accuracy for nasal place was higher for vowels preceding the nasal sounds, suggesting the possibility of higher anticipatory coarticulation reflecting the nasal place.

  • The air ventilation system of operation rooms has been studied for the prevention of cross infection during the operation. Operation rooms and air ventilation systems of three University hospitals are investigated. The distribution of microbe is measured by cultivating air samples in the operation room. A two-dimensional model for the cross-section of an operation room is developed for the CFD analysis. The characteristics of air flow in operation room are calculated by using a CFD program. The current air ventilation system of an old hospital does not deliver the clean air to the operation area efficiently. A new air ventilation method which improves air venting with little increase of the cost of equipment is suggested.

  • This paper is a study on integrated air-conditioning system for 1-ton class commercial vehicle based on electric vehicle. In the case of an electric commercial vehicle, since the opening and closing of the door is frequently performed in order to get in and out of the cargo, the heat loss largely occurs. Therefore, the heating and cooling load is required to be larger than the electric vehicle. As a result, the energy consumed by the heating and cooling system is larger than the passenger electric car in order to satisfy the heat comfort required by passengers. In order to overcome these disadvantages, we performed research using an efficient integrated air conditioning system. Finally, the design and analysis of a heat pump system for heating and a electrical compressor for cooling need to be proceed to develop a high-efficiency air conditioning system for improving the commerciality of 1 ton-class electric trucks and expanding the industrial ecosystem in the electric truck sector.
