A Study of Analysis and Response and Plan for National and International Security Practices using Fin-Tech Technologies (핀테크 금융 기술을 이용한 국내외 보안 사례 분석 및 대응 방안에 대한 연구)

  • Recently, finance technology related to Fin-Tech has emerged while national and international financial incidents have increased. Security technologies that are currently operated in the financial institutions, have been reported to be vulnerable to security attacks. In this paper, we propose a method of response and plan of security incident using Fin-Tech technology in the divers authentication methods and the usage of biometrics. Proposed method provides a convenient banking services to the users by integrating IT technology, such as personal asset management, crowdfunding to finance technology. Also, the proposed method may provide the security with ease by applying the security technologies such as PCI-DSS, tokenization technique, FDS, the block chain. Proposed method analyzes a number of security cases in relation to the Fin-Tech, financial technologies, for a response.

  • Estimation on SW Sizing applied to fintech is very difficult, a task requiring long time, it is difficult for client companies and developer companies to accurately calculate the size of software development. The size is generally estimated based on the experience of project managers and the general functional scoring method. In this paper, propose a model that can be applied to fintech development projects by quantitatively calculating the required functions from the user's point of view, measuring the scale, and calculating the scale in real time. Through the proposed model, the amount of work can be estimated prior to development and the size can be measured, and the M/M and the estimated quotation amount can be calculated based on the program list by each layer. In future studies, by securing size computation data on existing the Fintech Project in mass, research on accurate size computation would be required.

  • With the advent of the 4.0 era of logistics due to the Fourth Industrial Revolution, infrastructures have been built to receive the same services online and offline. Logistics services affected by logistics 4.0 and IT technology are rapidly changing. Logistics services are developing using technologies such as big data, artificial intelligence, blockchain, Internet of things, and augmented reality. The convergence of logistics services and various IT new technologies is accelerating, and the development of data management solution technology has led to the emergence of electronic cargo waybill to replace paper cargo waybill. The electronic waybill was developed to supplement paper waybill that lack economical and safety. However, the electronic waybill that appeared to complement the paper waybill are also in need of complementation in terms of efficiency and reliability. New research is needed to ensure that electronic cargo waybill gain the trust of users and are actively utilized. To solve this problem, electronic cargo waybill that combine blockchain technology are being developed. This study aims to improve the reliability, operational efficiency and safety of blockchain electronic cargo waybill. The purpose of this study is to analyze the blockchain-based electronic cargo waybill system and to derive evaluation indicators for system supplementation.

  • In this paper, We studied the operation of distributed ledger technology used as a core technology for smart contracts and the components of distributed ledger technology. As a solution applying the entity of distributed ledger technology to NoE, we proposed the protocol of the distributed ledger technology using the thing user social group management function of NoE protocols being standardized in ISO/IEC JTC1 SC6. The management function of things user social group in NoE provides stable protocol functions and data transmission management, and provides group management functions such as member discovery function and data transmission channel management function. It is expected to be useful for member management functions of distributed ledger nodes by providing a service that apply the component of distributed ledger technology. We intend to actively reflect this technology in the future network functions of ISO/IEC JTC1 SC6, which is undergoing standardization.

  • Digital content is difficult to distinguish between the original and the replica due to its nature. For this reason, NFT technology using blockchain technology is attracting attention because it can guarantee the proof and scarcity of the original digital content. However, the NFT buyer does not own the copyright to the digital content, but the ownership. In particular, since the minting process of issuing NFTs is possible for anyone, there is a copyright threat to the copyright holder. In this study, we propose a verification protocol based on DID for the process of issuing and transacting NFTs for copyright protection of copyright holders' digital contents. As a research method, the problems of research cases related to digital contents were analyzed and the safety was comparatively analyzed. NFT issuance can only be issued by copyright holders whose identity has been verified through DID, and only users who have completed authentication can participate in the transaction to prevent indiscriminate theft and use of digital content and form a safe and transparent transaction market.

  • Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many companies have introduced remote work. However, the introduction of remote work has increased attacks on companies to access sensitive information, and many companies have begun to use cloud services to respond to security threats. This study used LDA topic modeling techniques by collecting news data with the keyword 'cloud security' to analyze changes in domestic cloud security trends before and after the COVID-19 pandemic. Before the COVID-19 pandemic, interest in domestic cloud security was low, so representation or association could not be found in the extracted topics. However, it was analyzed that the introduction of cloud is necessary for high computing performance for AI, IoT, and blockchain, which are IT technologies that are currently being studied. On the other hand, looking at topics extracted after the COVID-19 pandemic, it was confirmed that interest in the cloud increased in Korea, and accordingly, interest in cloud security improved. Therefore, security measures should be established to prepare for the ever-increasing usage of cloud services.

  • Research on virtual assets has been mainly interested in policy preparation or legislation for the introduction of virtual assets, or virtual asset operation technology, but this study presents investment factors that most asset investors consider important when making investment decisions. By doing so, we came up with research results that are practically helpful to virtual asset investors. According to the research results, (1) virtual asset investors consider business models such as marketability and competitive advantage of virtual assets as the most important factors, and (2) are highly interested in factors that can be objectively judged when investing in virtual assets. The results of this study suggest that a virtual asset trading market environment that can provide objective investment information and discover various judgment factors that enable virtual asset investors to objectively judge virtual assets should be prepared, and that virtual asset businesses using core technologies will continue to grow. This suggests that a variety of policy support is needed to enable this.

  • The growth of the metaverse has been accelerated by the increased demand for non-face-to-face interactions due to COVID-19 and advancements in technologies such as blockchain and NFTs. However, with the emergence of various metaverse platforms and the corresponding rise in users, criminal cases such as ransomware attacks, copyright infringements, and sexual offenses have occurred within the metaverse. Consequently, the need for artifacts that can be utilized as digital evidence within metaverse systems has increased. However, there is a lack of information about artifacts that can be used as digital evidence. Furthermore, metaverse security evaluation and forensic analysis are also insufficient, and the absence of attack scenarios and related guidelines makes forensics challenging. To address these issues, this paper presents artifacts that can be used for user behavior analysis and timeline analysis through dynamic analysis of Roblox, a representative metaverse gaming solution. Based on analyzing interrelationship between identified artifacts through memory forensics and log file analysis, this paper suggests the potential usability of artifacts in metaverse crime scenarios. Moreover, it proposes improvements by analyzing the current legal and regulatory aspects to address institutional deficiencies.

  • With the development of virtual reality (VR) and blockchain technology, Metaverse is being used in various fields such as games, education, and social networking. At the same time, shipments of wearable devices such as smartwatches are growing every year, becoming more and more integrated into people's daily lives. This study presents a new possibility of reflecting the user's body signals measured through the combination of the two phenomena in the metaverse character. Various biometric information such as the user's heart rate and amount of exercise collected through the smartwatch are reflected on the character in the metaverse, allowing the user's physical condition to be reflected in the virtual world. Through this, Metaverse is expected to provide a new experience that can be called 'extended reality' beyond simple virtual reality, improve user's satisfaction with Metaverse, and suggest a direction for the development of smartwatches.

  • Metaverse combines the real and virtual worlds to create a world where all experiences and activities in the real world are possible even in the virtual world without time and space constraints. Currently, metaverse technology is expanding and converging into the realms of society, economy, and culture. In particular, the MZ generation, the main user base, is engaged in various cultural activities such as games, contents, culture, exhibitions, and performances in the metaverse world. Archives, one of the cultural institutions, should provide a new type of service by fusion of Archival information services with metaverse technology so that the MZ generation can know the value and meaning of archives. This will arouse the interest of the MZ generation, which will naturally increase the awareness of the archives, increase visits and use, and will serve as an opportunity to expand the user base. Therefore, in this study, the concept, type, and characteristics of each service were examined, and the representative metaverse platform for each service was selected and a platform utilization plan suitable for Archival information services such as exhibition, experience, and publicity was proposed. In addition, by using 'Spatial', a blockchain-based social metaverse platform, to directly produce exhibition contents, we want to check the considerations suggested, the production process, and the advantages of the metaverse exhibition.
