  • The collaboration that seeks to complement each other by judging and sharing the comparative advantages between companies is currently being actively progressed as a new and unusual collaboration that is not routine among not only the same industry but also different industries. This trend is increasing consumer interest based on enjoyment and fun. However, these collaborations cannot consistently lead to positive effects, and rather, if all companies collaborate, it could have an adverse effect. The current study explored the consumer's response to the attitude toward product and purchase intention of collaboration through consumption value and brand trust based on the consumer's understanding, assuming that the consumer's response cannot always be positive. As a result, brand trust played a mediating role in the intention to purchase and attitude toward product. This study examines the relationship between consumption value and collaboration products between brands, and from the perspective of a company, it can provide practical implications for establishing brand management and strategy through a unique collaboration strategy based on the understanding of consumers.

  • To prove the effectiveness of global brand strategy, this paper tries to analyze the effects of brand globalness on brand attitude and behaviors. In addition, the moderating effect of consumers' cultural intelligence is assessed in the influence of brand globalness on brand attitude and behaviors. Based on the analysis of two hundred seven consumers, it is founded that the brand globalness has a strong influence on brand credibility and benevolence which exerts brand royalty as expected. In this process, however, the moderating effect of consumers' cultural intelligence is shown to be statistically ineffective. • With the shift of consumer’s spending behaviors further into emotionally-driven purchases, the role of brand is becoming even more important, which in turn, expands design’s role in the brand image strategy. The contact point between the consumers and the brand is the primary channel for building strong brand image through experience. Therefore, it is critical to comprehensively plan and manage the consumer contact point for any brand. Given the changing market conditions, the objective of this study is to define and structure an integrated design development and management system for building successful brand image. In order to do so, the research analyzed the characters of brand image, the conditions for consumer experience and the roles of emotion. The analysis into the correlation between images and emotion process model yields three natures of an image. The image 1) is based on empirical decisions, 2) expresses and conveys emotional aspects and 3) builds mental values through a sense of sympathy. Through case studies of successful designs that meet all three characteristics, the roles of a brand icon in building strong brand image and the needs for integrated design approach for implementation are defined. The methods for integrated design include 1) providing a focal point through brand image positioning, 2) utilizing visual themes based on brand image plot, 3) building a Total Identity Program to holistically manage brand images and 4) developing brand icons for brand image reinforcement.

  • Individual consumer characteristics change as the individual lifestyle changes. Each individual's unique lifestyle influences substantially the individual consumer behavior. Individual consumer's behavioral pattern varies significantly depending on the individual consumer's use of credit cards. Each individual's lifestyle or individual's perception of credit cards' brands and perceptual difference in qualities of credit cards' brands influence the individual's credit card selection. Credit card companies have been doing several researches in analyzing credit card users' lifestyle characteristics and consumer behavioral characteristics. However, researches on the relation of model structure among variables such as individual lifestyle, credit cards brand, quality perception of credit cards and credit card selection are not quite noticeable. Therefore, in this research we aim at providing a theoretical foundation with credit card companies by analyzing the relation of model structure among these factors.

  • In recent years, the rapid proliferation of domestic and global Over-The-Top (OTT) platforms, in conjunction with the global pandemic, has substantially enhanced the accessibility of global contents. This trend is expected to continue to strengthen. This study examines the extent to which domestic consumers experience global contents through OTT platforms and its impact on individual consumers' global identity and the formation of global brand attitudes. We conducted an empirical analysis based on a survey of university students, who constitute the main consumer group for global contents through OTT platforms. The results show that as exposure to global content s and diversity of those experiences through OTT increase, respondents exhibit higher levels of global consumer orientation and global identity. This, in turn, has a positive influence on the formation of global brand attitudes.
