A Study on Leggings for Athletic Leisure (애슬레저용 레깅스에 관한 연구)

  • 본 연구는 애슬레저 레깅스의 주 소비층인 20대 여성의 체형에 적합한 레깅스 패턴을 개발하기 위한 선행연구로, 20대 대학생을 대상으로 레깅스의 착용실태를 알아보고 애슬레저 레깅스의 선호도를 파악하고자 하였다. 본 연구는 20대 여대생 189명을 대상으로 하였으며, 구글 설문지를 통해 조사하였다. 분석은 SPSS 26.0 프로그램을 활용하였다. 레깅스는 운동용으로 착용하고 검은색의 발목까지 오는 밀착되는 기본 레깅스 디자인에 대한 선호가 높았으며, Y존 부위에 대한 불편함을 호소하는 경우가 많았다. 동작 시에는 허리가 노출되는 것에 대한 불편함을 호소하는 경우가 많았다. 선호 브랜드는 아디다스가 가장 많았고 레깅스에 몸매 보정 기능이 추가되기를 원하였다. 선호하는 브랜드를 구매했을 경우 디자인, 치수, 소재, 활동성, 내구성 등 대부분 항목에서 만족도가 높았다. 원단을 고려하여 레깅스를 구매한 경우에는 봉제상태에 대한 만족도가 높고, 브랜드를 고려하여 구매한 경우 가격에 대한 만족도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과를 일반화시키는 데 주의하여야 하며, 향후 연구에서는 좀 더 포괄적인 연령대와 남성에 대한 조사가 이루어져야 할 것으로 생각된다.

  • Sales for SPA brand names of private label apparels are on the rise in the domestic clothing market. The aim of this study is to analyze the characteristics of SPA brands and how each color system is proposed within the BI system. In this study, 8 brands were selected as the most popular SPA brands in Korea and abroad with stores based on brand power and sales and preference by consumers. Therefore, among information factors such as brand identity (BI) and color characteristic. sign system, package, and environmental factors, buildings facade and interior design of eight brands were investigated. Research into color application of BI revealed that four brands used red colors with different tones with different identity differentiation. For the other four brands, the company applied BI designs that gained the brand's character such as a black-and-white or dark blue one. Thus, it is considered important to select BI color in order to differentiate and enhance preferences in brand identity.

  • The purpose of this study is to find out characteristic of a product which has the most influence when consumer makes a purchase, and analyze if actual consumers make a purchase with recognition of the brand difference between PB and NB brands using conjoint analysis. As a result, the main factor which consumers consider when they purchase a product is the quality but the factor for brands (NB or PB) do not have an effect on their purchasing. The reason why consumers little consider a factor for PB or NB is that they do not have much knowledge of PB and they recognize the PB as a "me-too" product of NB. Therefore, retailers should develop more differentiated product in order to be recognized by consumers.

  • The purpose of this study is 1) to find out what brand personality should be selected in the Korea brand(Nolbu, Donday) and Foreign brand(TGI Fridays, Outback steakhouse), 2) to explore how the brand personality affects the store personality, that is, brand preference and revisiting which is related to the firm's overall sales. Therefore, useful tools for attracting and retaining core customers will be provided to decision-makers. The findings are summed up as follows: Successful, wholesome, and hard-working are the most significant variables in the brand personality. Also intimate factors(friendly, honest, darling) stand out high brand preference and revisiting in the Korea brand restaurants. In foreign brand restaurants, western, friendly, and young are highly recognized in brand personality. Both cheerful factors(cheerful, charming) and successful factors(successful, leader, confident) have the greatest impact on high brand preference and revisiting intent. The findings offer important insights: First, the concept of restaurant should be overlapped with style of core customers in the Korean brand restaurants. Second, entertainment factors like cheerful atmosphere should be reinforced in the foreign brand restaurants.

  • The internet and the information-oriented communities have brought many changes to increase brand power and product sales in many industries. This study investigates the influence of brand preference and information reliability on consumers' purchase decisions. If product information at the internet advertising matches with consumers' previous brand preference, they are more likely to enhance product information reliability after watching the advertising. Such brand preference match through the advertising will increase consumers' intention to purchase. From the results of our experiment, we found that information reliability and memory from the advertising give a positive impact on the intention to purchase when consumers' previous brand preference matches with advertising attributes. Our study suggests that firms need to develop the internet advertising which is closely matched with consumers' preferences.

A Study on the difference of school life adaptation of adolescent according to the clothing behavior conformity and the attitude toward the name-brand: In case of Gwangju metropolitan area (청소년의 의복동조 준거특성 및 유명브랜드에 대한 태도에 따른 학교생활적응의 차이연구: 광주지역을 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide basic information on clothing preference to help teachers suggest clothes that help students adapt better to school life, and to get basic data specific to Home Economics curricula and how teenagers' attitude toward clothes correlate with their conformity to school as a whole. The survey of 587 students was conducted between December 17-24, 2012 in Gwangju. The data was analyzed using the SPSS 18.0 for window program: frequency, means, factor analysis, cluster analysis, Chronbach's ${\alpha}$, t-test, and ANOVA. There were significant differences in the many adolescents's adapted to school life based on the clothing behavior conformity and the attitude toward the name-brand. The results showed that, if it is not extreme, adolescents had the more the clothing behavior conformity on peer & mass media than less, they did well adapt on school life. And the group of more preference for the name-brand clothing result in low school discipline adaptation but high peer and teacher relationship. In adaptation of learning, they were not different significantly based on attitudes toward the name brand.

  • In order to attract consumers in the advertisement media and large discount marts, there needs to be a strong brandimage with a competitive and distinctive packing design. This study recognized the importance of packing designs and investigated consumers' preference for brands depending on packing designs of drinks in order to draw out consumers' positive attitudes toward the brand. The consumers feel that there are more fruit content in the drink that expresses its ingredients realistically than the drink that expresses its ingredients unrealistically on the packing design. The study also examined the consumers' preference for brands depending on their interests in well-being and the expression in the packing designs. In result, the difference was statistically significant. The study investigated the most preferred container for drinks was glass bottles and the most preferred orange juice was the fruit 100% content. Therefore, the expressions of ingredients of drinks and their interests in well-being were the difference in consumers' preference in brands and purchase intention. It had effects on the fruit content.

  • As the world is in the age of globalization and information, we observe diverse changes in the market environment. Since wide-spread internet services and global networks made ubiquitous learning and business possible, equalizing consumers' ideology and preference, new trend and life style could be introduced easily. This study stipulates on the theoretical concept of the wellbeing consumer and LOHAS consumer. Consumers of LOHAS could be sampled out through pre-questionnaire targeting at selected food, clothing, and shelter based on companies of both wellbeing and general brands. Through this it is attempted to measure wellbeing emotion, recognition quotient of emotion and reason, affirmation and negation, mental emotion quotient, and preference in order to find out their value and to ultimately come up with what web design should be aiming at. Conclusions are as follows: Firstly, consumers easily recognize emotional identification from the web pages of wellbeing brand, rather than that of general brands. Secondly, what web pages of wellbeing brand recognize is reason, not emotion. Thirdly, the design of wellbeing brands scored higher than those of general brands in terms of positive aspects such as hospitality and familiarity, and high mental emotion quotient could not affect the consumers' preference toward web design. Fourthly, wellbeing brands win more preference than general brands do, and preference becomes higher after customers' visit to web pages basically. Lastly, sampled emotional adjectives toward the web designs of wellbeing brands marked a aesthetic graph figure, without leaning toward an active or stable one. It is expected that this study can serve as a groundwork to create proper strategies to actively involve consumers in industrial sphere.

  • Today, communication trend of financial brand has changed fast with more foreign financial brand's introduction, emerging financial brands through the openness. With the trend of changing, companies are introducing various marketing methods to differentiate its brand image. And color marketing becomes an important tool for the differentiation. However, except a few brands, brand color which expresses management character of a company is different from the customer's preferred color which is based on investors' investment tendency. This may be related to the brand Image which is final goal of communication. Therefore, this study suggests effective communication method between company and customers by analyzing preferred color of customers by their investment tendency and comparison analysis security firms' color marketing strategy. As a result, it was found that Roland Barthes symbolic meaning of colors is different from the symbolic meaning of the groups of investor tendency. For example, I assumed that aggressive investors preferred strong color like red or orange, but the survey result was far from my assumption. I hope this study can be a good foundation for logical and scientific marketing in communication between security companies and customers in more open market with introduction to the Capital Market Consolidation Act.
