  • Although precision blasting constructions are increased by explosive industry, the studies on the history of explosive are small in number. In this study, we tried to find the origin of explosive and make it, which we found, be storization to develop the technology of modern explosive and blasting. Also, we presented the methods that apply storytelling about the explosive technology to construction project.

  • "Annals of The Joseon Dynasty" is a book recording the Joseon Dynasty's historical facts in an annalistic format. The King's amusement activities through "Annals of The Joseon Dynasty" which were established by the Ye-ak(禮樂) system were analyzed. The results are as follows. The king's amusement activities that were performed during the Joseon Dynasty period could be classified as state banquets, military banquets, and banquets for play. The analysis of the king's amusement activity was divided into five stages. The characteristic of [1 period : King Taejo~Sejo(Yejong)] was dominated the military banquets of the Goryeo Dynasty. Neo-Confucianism is the establishment of political and social turning of the ballast, considerations of military culture, culture, and Hoeryeyeon Jinpungjeong, a cloud of dust and elders banquets such as Giroyeon and Yangnoyeon on the nature of the party. A lasting ordinance was institutionalized[2 period : King Seongjong~Jungjong]. In the chopper and jeongyujaeran, Hong Kyung Rae led a royal amusement activities are stagnant, often produce isolated storage compute in the gloomy situation[3 period : King Injong~Hyeonjong]. Revival period is pride of the amusement activity through the culture of Joseon Dynasty royal culture [4 period : King Sukjong~Jeongjo]. The throne, crashed due to political power is an ebb of royal amusement activities, while also rapidly waning[5 period : King Seonjo~Seonjong]. During the early Joseon Dynasty, hunting took place around the forest area northeast of Hanyang and during King Seongjong's period, it took place closer to the capital city, while in Lord Yeonsan's period, it was expanded to a 39 kilometer radius area from the palace, and banquets such as various forms of entertainment of Cheoyongmu, and Flower-viewing. The Joseon kings who enjoyed hunting were King Sejong, Sejo, Seongjong, Yeonsan, and Jungjong. Most of hunting objects were tigers, bears, deer and roe deer, leopards, boars, their animals and falconry took, and the purpose of the hunting was to perform ancestral rites to the royal ancestry or the royal tombs. Lord Yeonsan's hunting activities had negative effects after King Jungjong the king's hunting activity decreased sharply. However, there were also positive aspects of Lord Yeonsan's Prohibition of cutting woods ect. In conclusion, the expansion of the King's garden(庭:courtyard${\rightarrow}$園:privacy garden${\rightarrow}$苑:king's garden${\rightarrow}$苑?:national hunting park) is evident which starts from formal and informal activities that took place in Oejo, Chijo, and Yeonjo, which went further to the separate and secret gardens, and then even further, thus setting the amusement activity area as a 39 kilometer radius range from Hanyang.

  • This study is to develop marine fashion items for various marine leisure activities based on the identity of Busan. Motifs from the fireworks festival and image colors of Busan are introduced for the items. A prototype design to express uniqueness and characteristics of fireworks was produced with a line combination among design modeling factors and applied to T-shirt item for comfort use in the marine leisure activity and daily life. T-shirt is one of fashion items for a message communication due to a unique modeling which can be used an excellent advertising item for the culturel identity and image of Busan. Designs were produced with the characteristics of fireworks in which circular shapes of a chrysanthemum, ring, and peony designates as motif 1, 2, 3 as well as linear shape of Niagara, fan shape, and tiger-tail as motif 4, 5, and 6. These designs were located on the front, central chest, and left chest in the T-shirts then analyzed by major students in the course of master and doctor of clothing and textiles with statistical methods. A design with new coloring preferred than the design of a symbolic construction, and circular design on the front and linear design on the left chest were preferred in the results. Prototypes were produced with peony and tiger-tail design which show a high corelation between circular and linear shape, and coloring as well as high purchasing needs. This study results will expect to use for the development of advertising items for the various events of Busan based on the textile design and fashion items with the identity of Busan.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate mathematics teaching of an elementary school teacher and to understand the meaning of it. This study was a qualitative case study using by analyzing metaphors. The notion of metaphors was newly set up. Traditionally, it had been regarded as a mere tool for better understanding, but it was recognized as the primary source of all of our concept(Sfard, 1998). The subject of this case study was a researcher 'I' and also an elementary school teacher. The three selves named Mee1, Mee2, Mee3, respectively. Mee1 was the 'I' who developed the 4th graders' activities on mathematical patterns in 1996 and wrote mathematics textbook for the 4th graders in 1998-1999. Mee2 was the 'I' who taught mathematical patterns to her students in 2002. Mee3 was the 'I' who criticized the teaching of Mee2 in 2005. [ADVENTURE], [HIDE-AND-SEEK], and [FIREWORKS DISPLAY] were deter-mined to be key metaphors of mathematics teaching. [ADVENTURE] of Mee] was focused on profound understanding of mathematics, [HIDE-AND-SEEK] of Mee2 on construction of mathematics, and [FIRE-WORKS DISPLAY] of Mee3 on making meaning and participating in communities. Studies of metaphors give us the power of understanding mathematics teaching and also generate it. And viewing mathematics teaching via metaphors makes teaching studies open to new ways.
