Fracture Properties of High Strength Concrete Disk with Center-Crack (중앙에 노치가 있는 고강도 콘크리트 디스크의 파괴특성)

  • It is difficult to obtain accurate fracture toughness values using three point bending test(TPB) proposed by RILEM committees because the shape of load-deflection curve is irregular and final crack propagation occurs after some slow stable cracking. However, fracture toughness is easily obtained from crack initiation load in the disk test. In this paper, the fracture properties of high strength concrete disks with center-crack was investigated. For this purpose, the experimental results were compared with the results by finite element analysis(FEA). And the experimental fracture locus was compared with theoretical fracture locus. Also, the results of fracture properties for the degree of concrete strength are presented. It is concluded from this study that results from FEA with maximum stress theory were compared well with the results from experiment. And the degree of concrete strength was contributed to the crack initiation load and fracture toughness, but was not contributed to the failure angle. Also, The discrepancy of fracture locus between the maximum stress theory and the experiment for concrete is considered to depend upon a large energy requirement for inducing the mixed-mode and sliding mode fractures.

Structure and Fatigue Analyses of the Inspection Equipment Frame of a Semiconductor Test Handler Picker (반도체 테스트 핸들러 픽커 검사장비 프레임에 대한 구조 및 피로해석)

  • Currently, there are many processes of package assembly and inspections of real fields that examine whether a manufactured semiconductor can be operated regularly and can endure low humidity or high temperatures. As the inspection equipment of a semiconductor test handler picker has been used at the inspection process, these inspection equipment frames were modelled in 3D and these models were analyzed using 3 kinds of fatigue loadings. As the analysis result, maximum deformation occurred at the midparts of the frames at cases 1 and 2. Among the cases of nonuniform fatigue loads, the 'SAE bracket history' with the severest change in load became the most unstable but the 'Sample history' became the most stable. Fatigue analysis result can be used effectively with the design of an inspecting equipment frame of a semiconductor test handler picker to examine the prevention and durability against damage.

  • The dynamic behavior of high speed train is very Important because the railway should be safe and Is satisfied tilth the rode comfort of passengers. The train is composed of many suspension components. such as 1st springs, 1st dampers, 2nd springs and 2nd dampers, that have an influence on the dynamic characteristics of high speed train. Also, the wheel/rail shapes, the track conditions and geometry and many environmental factors, such as rain, snow and wind. affect the dynamic behavior of high speed train. This paper reviews the effect of wind and track conditions on the dynamic behavior of high speed train. The VAMPIRE program Is used for this simulation. The result of simulation shows that the high speed train should not be operated when the wind velocity is beyond 34.5 m/sec.

Structure Structural Durability Analysis on Bike Carrier Basket (자전거 짐받이에 대한 구조적 내구성 해석)

  • This study investigates structural durability through the analyses of stress, fatigue life and vibration damage at bike carrier basket. As model 2 has less stress and deformation than model 1 on static structural analysis, model 2 becomes more durable than model 1. Among the cases of nonuniform fatigue loads, 'SAE bracket history' with the severest change of load becomes most unstable but 'Sample history' becomes most stable. The amplitude deformations become highest at maximum response frequency of 2400Hz in cases of models 1 and 2. As the values of maximum equivalent stresses become within the allowable material stresses at two holes at the upper parts on models 1 and 2, these models become safe. The structural result of this study can be effectively utilized with the design of bike carrier basket by investigating prevention and durability against fatigue or vibration damage.

  • 정밀가공기계 및 소음발생원의 방진재료로서 사용될 수 있는 재료는 우선 내부 및 외부진동의 흡수성과 감쇠성이 뛰어나야 하고, 시간 및 온도변화에 따라 형상 및 치수 정밀도가 안정되어야 하며, 불규칙한 외력과 운동전달기구의 변동 하중 하에서도 높은 정적, 동적 강성을 유지해야 한다. 본 연구에서 개발한 재료인 Ferrite-Resin 복합재료는 Resin-Concrete에 미세한 산화철을 filler 재료로 사용함으로써 주철 및 강의 구조재료가 갖는 강성과 비중의 값에 접근시킬 수이었다. 일반적으로 불포화 폴리에스테르 수지나 에폭시계 수지는 glass 전위점의 근처에서 진동에너지의 흡수가 큰 영역이 존재하며 이는 10 .mu.m 이내의 미세한 filler재료가 포함되었을 경우에도 그 종류에 관계없이 큰 변화가 없는 성질이다. 시험편을 통한 재료실험을 통하여 개발된 복합재료를 모델 구조물에 적용시킴으로서 그 적용성을 검토하였다. 앞으로의 수지와 Ferrite 함유량 및 제조 공정이 적절히 모색되면, 이 방진재료가 정밀기계의 구조재료로서 뿐만 아니라 냉동기, 소형선박의 기관실, 가전제품 및 기어박스 등의 케이싱 재료로 사용되는 방진재료로서 그 응용이 확대될 수 있을 것으로 본다.

Structural Analysis on Durability of Pedal (페달의 내구성에 대한 구조 해석)

  • In this study, the deformation, stress, vibration, fatigue life and the probability of damage are analyzed at the pedal applied by the force of 300N. The maximum stress at the lower of pedal is shown as 20.801MPa. And the maximum displacement is 0.85mm at the maximum response frequency as 3800Hz. Among the cases of nonuniform fatigue loads, 'SAE bracket history' with the severest change of load becomes most unstable but 'Sample history' becomes most stable. In case of 'Sample history' with the average stress of 0 to $-10^{5}MPa$ and the amplitude stress of 0 to $10^{5}MPa$, the possibility of maximum damage becomes 0.6%. This stress state can be shown with 5 times more than the damage possibility of 'SAE bracket history' or 'SAE transmission'. The structural result of this study can be effectively improved with the design of pedal by investigating durability against its damage.

  • 자동차의 안전에 대한 연구는 객실의 변형제한과 승객의 감속도 축소를 위한 여러가지 구조부재의 에너지 흡수능력 및 흡수 메카니즘을 연구하는데 초점이 맞추어져 왔다. 그 이유는 충돌사고시에 인명을 보호하기 위해서는 차제변형에 의한 물리적 접촉의 회피 뿐 아니라 충돌에너지를 적절히 흡수조절하여 충돌력을 감소시키도록 구조부재를 설계함으로써 충돌안전성이 확보되기 때문이다. 충돌에너지 흡수 특성은 구조부재의 단면 형상과 재질에 따라 달라지며 압괴모드도 구분되어진다. 즉, 복합재료의 압축붕괴특성은 금속이나 플라스틱 재질과는 다르다. 일반적으로 복합재는 재질의 파손으로 에너지가 흡수되지만 금속재는 소성변형으로 에너지를 흡수한다. 이때의 붕괴양상은 작용하중에 따라 축방향 붕괴, 굽힘붕괴, 측면붕괴의 경우는 정규압괴모드(compact mode) 및 불규칙압괴모드(noncompact mode)로 나뉘고, 원통쉘의 경우는 축대칭모드 및 다이아몬드형 모드 등으로 나뉠수 있다. 원형 및 사각 튜브는 광범위한 형상비와 후폭비를 가지도록 제작할 수 있으며 산업전반에 걸쳐 널리 쓰이므로 충돌특성 연구의 대상으로 많은 연구들이 진행되어 왔다. 또한, 충돌특성의 해석을 위한 이론적 모델이 제시되었으며 계속적인 보완이 이루어져 오고 있다.

Study on Fatigue Analysis of DCB structure using FEM (FEM을 이용한 DCB 구조체의 피로 해석에 관한 연구)

  • 본 논문에서는 접착제로 접합된 DCB 구조체의 피로 해석을 수행하였다. 두께가 25및 40 mm인 두 모델들의 피로수명과 피로손상의 해석 결과를 비교해보면, 두께 25 mm인 모델이 두께 40 mm인 모델에 비하여 수명과 손상이 불리한 것으로 나타났으며 불규칙 피로하중에서는 'SAE transmission'에서 가장 불리한 값을 나타냈다. 또한 'SAE transmission'에서 가장 안정한 경향을 보이고 있고 상대적인 손상으로서 약 1.1에서 1.8 % 정도로 가장 작은 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구에서 얻어진 해석 결과를 접착제로 접합된 실제 복합재 구조물에 적용시켜 피로거동을 분석하고 그 기계적인 특성을 파악할 수 있다.

Structural Durability Analysis of Tie Rod (타이로드의 구조적 내구성 해석)

  • This study aims at the structural analysis of vibration and fatigue according to the tie rod configuration. The maximum displacement amplitude is happened at 156Hz by harmonic vibration analysis, this tie rod model can be broken as the weakest state. Among the cases of nonuniform fatigue loads, 'SAE bracket history' with the severest change of load becomes most unstable but 'Sine wave' becomes most stable. In case of 'Sine wave' with the average stress of 0MPa and the amplitude stress of 570MPa, the possibility of maximum damage becomes 70%. This stress state can be shown with 140 times more than the damage possibility of 'SAE bracket history' or 'SAE transmission'. The structural result of this study can be effectively utilized with the design on tie rod by investigating prevention and durability against its damage.
