Clinical Evaluation of High Density Posterior Composite (고밀도 구치부 복합레진의 임상적 평가)

  • 본 연구에서는 35개의 구치부 2급 와동에 고밀도 구치부 복합레진(Surefil, Caulk, U.S.A.)을 수복하였다. 단일 충전군은 18개 치아의 인접면 와동을 한꺼번에 충전한 후 광중합하였고 분할 충전군은 17개 치아의 인접면 와동을 두 층으로 나누어 충전 및 광중합하였다. 6개월 후의 임상검사 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1. 기초검사에서 단일 충전군과 분할 충전군 모두 색상조화도(Color match)를 제외한 다른 검사 항목들에서 Alfa로 나타났다. 2. 단일 충전군은 6개월 후 모든 검사(색상 조화도 제외)에서 인접면 접촉도(Proximal contact), 변연부 변색(Marginal discoloration), 술후 과민증(Postoperative sensitivity) 검사에서 소수의 치아가 Bravo, Charlie로 나타났으나 기초 검사와 3개월 후 검사 사이에 통계적으로 유의한 차이는 보이지 않았다. 3. 분할 충전군은 6개월 후 시행된 모든 검사(색상 조화도 제외)에서 인접면 접촉도(Proximal contact), 술후 과민증(Postoperative sensitivity) 검사에서 소수의 치아가 Bravo, Charlie로 나타났으나 기초 검사와 6개월후 검시 사이에 통계적으로 유의한 차이는 보이지 않았다. 4. 모든 검사항목에서 단일 충전군과 분할 충전군을 비교한 결과 통계적으로 유의한 차이는 보이지 않았다. 따라서 고밀도 구치부 복합레진(Surefil, Caulk, U.S.A)은 색상 재현의 어려움을 제외하고는 여러 평가에서 우수하게 나타났으므로 본 연구 결과를 기준으로 보면 이전 복합레진의 단점이 보완되어 구치부 2급 와동에 적절하게 사용될 수 있다고 사료되며 단일 충전군과 분할 충전군 사이에 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보이지 않으므로 시술 시간을 좀 더 단축시킬 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

  • This study was conducted to evaluate effects of gas retention time and filling depth of a compost-based biofilter on removal of vapor phase gasoline and to suggest operational improving method. Gas empty bed retention times(EBRTs) were 4, 10, and 20 minutes, respectively. EBRT of over 10 minutes was required in both cases of TPH(total petroleum hydrocarbons) and BTEK (bezene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and xylene). Filling depths were 25, 50, 75, and 100cm, respectively. To treat gasoline TPH effectively, controlling other operational parameters including EBRT and gas loading rate was more important than increasing filling depth simply. 1m filling depth was sufficient in treating BTEX without controlling other operational parameters greatly.

  • In this paper, a high speed charging algorithm that charges Ni-Cd secondary pack battery within 40 minutes is implementation. Proposed algorithm is that suppling 4 stage pulse instead of constant voltage or current. That makes charge time short, temperature low, and extends battery life. Experimental results show that secondary pack battery is charged within 40 minutes and achieved life time about 2000 cycle.

  • This paper proposes the equalizing charger of series connected batteries which are controlled by the time-sharing method. One-chip microprocessor dectcts the terminal voltage of each battery and then determines the charging time inversely proportional to the terminal voltage so that it decrease the un¬balanced capacity. This system is compact and light, therefore it can be applied to portable equipment such as charger for electric vehicle. And it's so effective as to prevent from overcharging which causes their life to shorten.

Market Segmented Analysis of Electric Vehicle Purchasing Behavior in Seoul (서울시 전기차 구매행태에 대한 시장분할 분석)

  • In this study, we analyzed the electric vehicle (EV) purchasing behavior with market segmentation in Seoul using the binary logit model. For the model estimation, the experimental design of SP survey generated 24 scenarios with purchase price, charging station availability, and driving range of EVs. The results of market segmentation analysis indicated that the owners of subcompact and compact size cars were primarily affected by the purchasing price while those of mid and full size cars were more sensitive to the charging station availability. By housing type, the charging station availability was the most important factor for the residents of apartment while the purchase price was the most important factor to choose the EVs. These results presented that the EV supply strategy of the automobile manufacturer should be diversified according to the marketing target and the expansion of the public charging infrastructure should be the top priority in the government policy.

The Effect of Hypocarbic Priming Solutions on Extracorporeal Circulation during Open Heart Surgery (개심술시 충전액의 저이산화탄소 분압이 체외순환에 미치는 영향)

  • Before beginning the extracorporeal circulation, perfusionists should supply oxygen into the oxygenator and establish blood flow through the blood line of the heart-lung machine. But these manipulation can induce severe hypocarbic state of priming solutions due to wash out of $CO_2$ gas in the solution. This study was carried out to examine the relationship of blood gas changes between hypocarbic priming solutions and body circulation in 15 patients undergoing open heart surgery with extracorporeal circulation. $PaCO_2$, pH, buffer base and $PaO_2$ were measured from priming solutions before and 15 minutes after the extracorporeal circulation. The results were as follows; 1) Before the extracorporeal circulation, mean $PaCO_2$ level was $12.1{\pm}7.8mmHg$ in the priming solution. However, 15 minutes after extracorporeal circulation, the $PaCO_2$ level was maintained at $35.7{\pm}5.7mmHg$. 2) pH in the priming solution was variable from 6.93 to 7.99 (mean $7.45{\pm}0.29$), but after 15 minutes it was ranged from 7.28 to 7.42 (mean $7.35{\pm}0.05$). 3) Mean buffer base level in the priming solution was $7.9{\pm}3.5mmol/l$, but after 15 minutes, it was $19.6{\pm}1.2mmol/l$. 4) Mean $PaO_2$ level in the priming solution was $667.1{\pm}45.6mmHg$, but after 15 minutes, it was $280.7{\pm}131.7mmHg$.

Fabrication and Mechanical Properties of the Hybrid Composites Filled with Waste Stone and Tire Powders (폐석분-폐타이어 분말 충전 혼성복합재료의 제조 및 기계적 특성)

  • In order to reuse the waste matters, the polyester hybrid composites were fabricated with the waste stone (WSP) and waste tire (WTC). Before mixing, the waste fillers were treated with the silane coupling agent [${\gamma}$-methacryloxy propyl trimethoxy silane(${\gamma}$-MPS)] for enhancing the dispersion of the fillers and interfacial bonding with polymer matrix. Mechanical properties and morphologies of the resulted hybrid composites were investigated with the filler content. The hybrid composites containing surface treated fillers have high initial thermal decomposition temperature and low weight loss compared to the untreated one. The highest mechanical properties of composites were obtained with the ${\gamma}$-MPS (2 wt%) treated fillers. The porosity of composite increased with the content of organic filler which can be reduced by the silane surface treatment of fillers. The pore size distribution of the composites varied with the waste filler content.

  • A series of test on concrete-filled composite columns was preformed to evaluate structural performance under axial compression and cyclic lateral loading. It was presented that concrete-filled composite columns had high strength, high stiffness and large energy-absorption capacity on account of mutual confinement between the steel plate and filled-in concrete. A cross section analysis procedure developed to predict the moment-curvature relation of composite columns was proven to be on accurate and effective method. The ductility factor and the response modification factor were evaluated for the seismic design of concrete-filled composite columns. It was shown that concrete-filled composite columns could be used as a very efficient earthquake-resistant structural member.

  • Recently, solar module is installed in crowded areas to offers services so that people can charge their smartphones or tablets. However, the burden in terms of cost is high to install in areas where utilization ratio is low and installation is difficult in limited spaces. In this paper, a system for collecting and providing the optical power is proposed from the analysis about the person that receives service in each area using the real-time data provided by the state and collected from the actual environment as well as considering the waiting time and the solar charging time in different environments. As a result, This study shows that charge was not delayed since collecting power exceeds charging power. Smartphone was fully charged in ninety-five minutes. we confirmed that with one smartphone, it can be charged a approximately fifty percent of the battery in between ten to twenty minutes, with multiple units they can be charged a approximately twenty percent of the battery in between ten to twenty minutes.

  • In this paper, RTLS tag for high-precision positioning and wireless power transmission module is designed in order to solve the battery replacement problem. Wireless charging pad is available to charge the 4 RTLS tags at once. Charging time of the proposed protype in 50 cm distance is 22 minutes based on 3V reference voltage and 500 mW.
