기존의 정보기술 위험분석 방법론에 대한 연구는 캐나다의 CSE에서 발표한 위험관리 방법론, 미국의 NIST에서 발표한 FIPS 65 정보보호 관리지침에서의 위험분석 방법론, 그리고IS0/IEC JTCl SC27의 정보보호 관리지침 등이 있으며, 위험분석 자동화 도구는 크게 국외와 국내로 나뉘어 국외의 경우 영국의 정성적 위험분석 방법론의 대표적 도구인 CRAMM, 미국의 정량적 위험분석 방법론 도구인 BDSS, 그리고 네트워크 위험분석 중심의 Expert와 같은 어플리케이션이 개발/활용 되고 있다. 한편, 국내 위험분석 자동화 도구로는 한국전산원에서 국내 최초로 개발한 위험분석 자동화 도구인 HAWK와 KAIST/펜타 시스템이 있다. 연구에서는 기존의 국내외 위험분석 방법론들의 비교분석 결과를 바탕으로, 실용적인 위험분석 방법론을제안하고 실용적으로 위험분석을 수행하기 위한 구체적인 도구를 개발하고 구현하였다. 세부적으로 위험분석 수행의 절차와 개념적 모형화에 대한 내용을 포함하여 표준적 틀을 유지하면서 현재 국내의 실무에 적합하며 간결한 위험분석 도구를 제시하였다.

소프트웨어 개발 방법론의 새로운 페러다임으로 제시되고있는 서비스 지향적 컴퓨팅방법론은 소프트웨어의 개발에 서비스라는 요소를 이용하고 있다는 점에서 다른 방법론과는 많은 차이점을 가지고 있다. 기존의 여러 방법론은 그 동안 여러 논문에서 효율적인 개발 프로세스 모델을 제시하고 있지만, 서비스 지향적 컴퓨팅방법론은 아직 개발 프로세스 모델에 대한 연구는 진행중이지 못한 실정이다. 기존은 방법론과 서비스 지향적 컴퓨팅방법론의 여러 차이점 때문에 기존 방법론에 대한 개발 프로세스 모델을 적용하기에는 여러 문제점이 따르며 새로운 개발 프로세스 모델에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 개발 프로세스 모델에 대한 연구를 하기 위해서는 서비스 지향적 컴퓨팅 방법론에서 요구사항분석 및 정의, 설계, 개발, 실행, 유지보수와 같은 각각의 프로세스에 대한 연구가 선행되어져야 할 것이다. 이에 본 논문에서는 서비스 지향적 컴퓨팅방법론의 특징을 살펴봄으로써 개발 프로세스 모델에서 사용되어질 프로세스들을 제시해보고자 한다.

본 연구는 시스템다이내믹스 연구방법론이 학문적으로 어떻게 활용, 발전되어 왔는지 알아보고, 특히 1984년부터 2004년에 이르리까지 시스템다이내믹스를 활용한 학술연구에 대한 내용분석을 통하여 시스템다이내믹스의 발전 가능성과 확산 가능성을 살펴본다. 이를 위해서 본 연구는 시스템다이내믹스 연구방법론이 어떻게 각 학문 분야로 진입하여 수용되고 확산되고 있는지 98개 해외저널에 출판된 시스템 다이내믹스룰 활용한 207개의 논문에 대한 계량적 내용분석을 통하여 분야별, 시기별 진화행태를 살펴본다. 본 연구는 시스템다이내믹스 연구방법론의 활용범위 및 활용행태를 내용분석 함으로써 시스템다이내맥스 연구방법론이 활용될 수 있는 범위가 넓고 다양하며 공통된 특이성을 가지고 있음을 찾아낸다. 이러한 확산 가능성 및 연구방법론의 특징을 중심으로 새로운 패러다임 연구방법론으로서의 시스템다이내믹스의 가능성을 제시한다.

국가의 신성장 동력을 찾고 국가 연구개발과제를 기획 평가하는 것은 국가 경쟁력에 직결되는 것이라 할 수 있으며, 이것은 해당 기술에 대한 철저한 분석을 토대로 정확한 기술궤적 (technology trajectory)을 도출할 수 있을 때 효과적으로 수행될 수 있다. 기존에는 이러한 과정이 직관에 의한 판단이나 경험에 의존하는 경향이 높았으나, 최근에는 기술이 보유하고 있는 지식과 정보에 대한 정량적인 수치화, 즉 계량화를 기반으로 분석하려는 시도가 미국, 일본 등 선진국을 중심으로 이뤄지고 있으며, 계량정보분석은 과학기술정책 수립에 주요 방법론으로 자리잡고 있다. 그러나 계량정보분석에 대한 기존 연구들은 방법론 적용 및 활용 프로세스 등과 관련된 한계를 가지고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 이러한 한계를 극복하기 위하여 선진국의 계량정보분석방법론의 적용 사례를 바탕으로 방법론의 유형 및 활용영역을 분석함으로써 활용목적에 맞는 계량정보분석방법론 포트폴리오 구축하는 것을 목표로 한다. 이를 위해 과학기술정책 수립에 활용될 수 있는 계량정보분석방법론 적용 가이드라인을 제공하고 활용 목적에 맞는 적용 프로세스를 제시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 유망 기술 영역과 핵심 기술을 탐색하고 모니터링하는 방향으로 계량정보분석방법론의 활용영역이 확장될 수 있는 토대가 되며, 기술 지능(technology intelligence)적인 정보를 창출하여 실질적인 업무 지원 역할을 할 수 있는 계기가 될 것이다.

As past paradigm discussion was restricted to the political issues and related antagonistic ideologies, there are desires to reignite discussion from the concrete theological practices and differences in methodological variations. Interactive Study does not require mere antithesis phase but requires interactive study creation as phase itself. The purpose of this study is to analyze quality methodology cases, and to provide basic data for the application of the methodology. For this purpose, current Journalism and Mass communication discussions will be examined and characteristics of quality study and traditional methodology types will be scrutinized. In further, researches in the scientific journals of Korean Association for Communication and Information Studies will be analyzed to point out trend of quality methodology. The scope of analysis includes theological background and methodology, sampling method, data collecting method, reliability analysis. Appliance of quality research method requires more rigid and detailed methodological discussions and applications.

GIS도 다른 정보시스템과 마찬가지로 복잡화, 대형화, 전략정보시스템화로 발전해 가면서 개발방식 체계화가 요구되었다. 그러므로 계획에서부터 철저한 사용자의 요구사항의 분석과 설계가 요구되었으며 결국 GIS 개발방법론 적용의 필요성이 대두되기 시작하였다. GIS 개발방법론은 기존의 정보시스템 개발방법론에 빠져있는 공간정보 구축 및 검증절차를 다루기 위한 계획 및 절차의 미비점을 보완하고 여러 GIS 특성을 반영하여 프로젝트 수행시 보다 유용성 있는 성과물을 산출할 수 있도록 하여야 한다. 본 연구에서는 GIS 개발방법론을 도출하기 위한 기반연구로서 새로운 개발방법론을 창출하기보다는 기존의 정보시스템 개발방법론에서 GIS의 특성을 설명할 수 없는 부분의 프로세스를 도출하고 이를 중심으로 한 GIS 개발방법론의 기본 프로세스를 제시하였다. 이를 위해 GIS 프로젝트의 특성을 바탕으로 기존의 개발방법론의 GIS 프로젝트 적용시 문제점을 분석하여 GIS 개발방법론의 기본 프로세스를 제시하였다. GIS 개발방법론의 완성을 위해선 태스크 및 산출물의 정의가 추가적으로 연구되어야 하고 실질적인 검증과 표준화 과정이 남아 있으므로 본 연구는 향후의 GIS 개발방법론 정립을 위한 시작으로 간주될 수 있을 것이다.

In order to overcome the difficulties of quantitative risk analysis such as complexity of model, we propose a systematic methodology for risk quantification of railway system which consists of 6 steps: The identification of risk factors, the determination of major scenarios for each risk factor by using event tree, the development of supplementary fault trees for evaluating branch probabilities, the evaluation of event probabilities, the quantification of risk, and the analysis in consideration of accident situation. In this study, in order to address the feasibility of the propose methodology, this framework is applied to the prototype risk model of nation-wide railway level crossings. And the quantification result based on the data of 2005 in Korea will also be presented.

This paper explores the conditions and potential of newly designed and tried methodology of big data analysis that apply to Korean history subject matter. In order to advance them, we need to pay more attention to quantitative analysis methodologies over pre-existing qualitative analysis. To obtain our new challenge, I propose 'digital history' methods along with associated disciplines such as linguistics and computer science, data science and statistics, and visualization techniques. As one example, I apply interdisciplinary convergence approaches to the principle and mechanism of elite reproduction during the Korean medieval age. I propose how to compensate for a lack of historical material by applying a semi-supervised learning method, how to create a database that utilizes text-mining techniques, how to analyze quantitative data with statistical methods, and how to indicate analytical outcomes with intuitive visualization.

Research methods is an integral component of a field and plays a crucial role for the development of a field. Three areas are explored to assess research methods in Korean library and information science (US) graduate programs: (1) comparison of research methods'courses across Korean LIS graduate programs; (2) content analysis of the trend of research methods education; (3) comparison of research methods'courses between the U.S. and Korean library and information science graduate programs.

Factor analysis, an important research method, has been conducted as a pre-analysis of empirical researches. Sometimes, the researchers expect more information than factor analysis' limitation as well. Therefore, I suggest a method to overcome this problem. This study presents a combined research method which allow to solve the limitation of the factor analysis in social science. The combined research method consist of factor analysis, AHP(analytic hierarchy process) analysis, diffusion theory and system dynamics, which is able to explain causalities.
