Traffic Distributed Processing System Implementation on the Web Sever Networking (웹서버 네트워킹에서의 트래픽분산 처리 시스템 구현)

  • This paper introduces implementation of a traffic distributed processing system on the Web Sever Networking. The study used two software packages (Packet Capture and Round-Robin Test Package) to check packet quantity from Virtual Network Structure (data generator, virtual server, Serve. 1, 2, 3), and could find out traffic distribution toward Server 1, 2, and 3. The functions of implemented Round-Robin Load Balancing Monitoring System include Round-Robin testing, system monitoring, and graphical indication of data transmission/packet quantity (figures & diagram). As the result of the study shows, Round-Robin Algorithm ensured definite traffic distribution, unless incoming data loads differ much. Although error levels were high in some cases, they were eventually alleviated by repeated tests for a long period of time.

  • Context-aware adaptive service for overcoming the limitations of wireless devices and maintaining adequate service levels in changing environments is becoming an important issue. However, most existing studies concentrate on an adaptation module on the client, proxy, or server. These existing studies thus suffer from the problem of having the workload concentrated on a single system when the number of users increases md, and as a result, increases the response time to a user's request. Therefore, in this paper the adaptation module is dispersed and arranged over the client, proxy, and server. The module monitors the contort of the system and creates a proposition as to the dispersed adaptation system in which the most adequate system for conducting operations. Through this method faster adaptation work will be made possible even when the numbers of users increase, and more stable system operation is made possible as the workload is divided. In order to evaluate the proposed system, a prototype is constructed and dispersed operations are tested using multimedia based learning content, simulating server overload and compared the response times and system stability with the existing server based adaptation method. The effectiveness of the system is confirmed through this results.

Resistive E-band Textile Strain Sensor Signal Processing and Analysis Using Programming Noise Filtering Methods (프로그래밍 노이즈 필터링 방법에 의한 저항 방식 E-밴드 텍스타일 스트레인 센서 신호해석)

  • Interest in bio-signal monitoring of wearable devices is increasing significantly as the next generation needs to develop new devices to dominate the global market of the information and communication technology industry. Accordingly, this research developed a resistive textile strain sensor through a wetting process in a single-wall carbon nanotube dispersion solution using an E-Band with low hysteresis. To measure the resistance signal in the E-Band to which electrical conductivity is applied, a universal material tester, an Arduino, and LCR meters that are microcontroller units were used to measure the resistance change according to the tensile change. To effectively handle various noises generated due to the characteristics of the fabric textile strain sensor, the filter performance of the sensor was evaluated using the moving average filter, Savitsky-Golay filter, and intermediate filters of signal processing. As a result, the reliability of the filtering result of the moving average filter was at least 89.82% with a maximum of 97.87%, and moving average filtering was suitable as the noise filtering method of the textile strain sensor.

COMPARISON OF FLUX AND RESIDENT CONCENTRATION BREAKTHROUGH CURVES IN STRUCTURED SOIL COLUMNS (구조토양에서의 침출수와 잔존수농도의 파과곡선에 관한 비교연구)

  • In many solute transport studies, either flux or resident concentration has been used. Choice of the concentration mode was dependent on the monitoring device in solute displacement experiments. It has been accepted that no priority exists in the selection of concentration mode in the study of solute transport. It would be questionable, however, to accept the equivalency in the solute transport parameters between flux and resident concentrations in structured soils exhibiting preferential movement of solute. In this study, we investigate how they differ in the monitored breakthrough curves (BTCs) and transport parameters for a given boundary and flow condition by performing solute displacement experiments on a number of undisturbed soil columns. Both flux and resident concentrations have been simultaneously obtained by monitoring the effluent and resistance of the horizontally-positioned TDR probes. Two different solute transport models namely, convection-dispersion equation (CDE) and convective lognormal transfer function (CLT) models, were fitted to the observed breakthrough data in order to quantify the difference between two concentration modes. The study reveals that soil columns having relatively high flux densities exhibited great differences in the degree of peak concentration and travel time of peak between flux and resident concentrations. The peak concentration in flux mode was several times higher than that in resident one. Accordingly, the estimated parameters of flux mode differed greatly from those of resident mode and the difference was more pronounced in CDE than CLT model. Especially in CDE model, the parameters of flux mode were much higher than those of resident mode. This was mainly due to the bypassing of solute through soil macropores and failure of the equilibrium CDE model to adequate description of solute transport in studied soils. In the domain of the relationship between the ratio of hydrodynamic dispersion to molecular diffusion and the peclet number, both concentrations fall on a zone of predominant mechanical dispersion. However, it appears that more molecular diffusion contributes to the solute spreading in the matrix region than the macropore region due to the nonliearity present in the pore water velocity and dispersion coefficient relationship.

  • When illegal transactions are made with bitcoin, it's not easy to track all the bitcoins used in the transaction and seize them. Especially, if criminals distribute illegal transactions by spreading them to several bitcoin addresses, it's difficult to track hidden bitcoins other than confiscated bitcoins even if some bitcoins are confiscated. This paper proposes a method for tracking and monitoring all bitcoin transactions suspected of illegal transactions. This method estimates bitcoin addresses that are highly relevant to crime among all bitcoin addresses that dealing with the address based on the bitcoin address list of the alleged crime, and keeps track of addresses that are relevant to crime and help to investigate illegal bitcoin transaction.

An Energy-Efficient Data Gathering Method in Wireless Sensor Networks Based on Mobile Sinks (모바일 싱크 기반 무선 센서 네트워크에서 에너지 효율적인 데이터 수집 기법)

  • 무선 센서 네트워크에서 에너지 효율적인 네트워크 구성을 위해 데이터를 수집하는 싱크 노드에 이동성을 적용시킨 모바일 싱크를 이용한 데이터 수집 기법이 활발하게 연구되고 있다. 하지만 최근 모바일 싱크를 적용한 데이터 수집 기법에서는 무선 센서 노드들의 에너지 소모를 분산시켜 네트워크의 수명은 증가시켰지만 고정적인 경로를 기반으로 하여 이벤트 데이터의 신속한 수집이 불가능하거나 이동성을 갖는 모바일 싱크로의 동적 라우팅 패스의 빈번한 설정으로 인해 최적화된 에너지 효율을 제공하지 못한다. 본 논문에서는 이와 같은 문제점을 해결하기 위해 모바일 싱크 기반의 무선 센서 네트워크 환경에서 에너지 효율성을 고려하여 이벤트 데이터를 우선 수집하는 데이터 수집 기법을 제안한다. 제안하는 기법은 특정 이벤트가 발생할 경우, 모바일 싱크의 이동성을 이용하여 특정 이벤트 데이터를 빠르게 수집하며 일반적인 모니터링 데이터의 압축과 전송 주기를 변경함으로써 전반적인 QoS를 향상시킨다. 성능평가 결과, 제안하는 기법은 기존 기법에 비해 이벤트 데이터에 대한 응답시간이 평균 57% 감소하였고, 네트워크의 수명이 평균 19% 증가하였다.

  • 최근 경제 사회의 급속한 발전에 따라 개인의 활동분야가 다양해지고 개인비밀보호 인식이 커지면서 응답자들이 통계조사에 잘 협조하지 않는 경우가 늘어나고 있다. 따라서 대부분의 통계를 현장조사에 의존하여 생산하고 있는 통계청에서는 현장조사 결과물의 품질상태에 좀 더 관심을 가져야만 하게 되었다. 이러한 현장조사에 대한 풀질관리의 일환으로 현재 통계청에서는 통계별 조사대상으로부터 품질관리표본(Quality Control Sample)을 추출하고 이를 대상으로 리인터뷰를 실시함으로써 응답오차측정, 조사현장의 실터파악, 응답자 의견수렴 등에 활용하고 있다. 리인터뷰는 조사직원의 고의적인 자료조작 또는 보충교육 필요성 등 현장조사업무를 평가하거나 응답분산(simple response variation), 응답편의(response bias) 등을 산출하고, 이를 분석하는 모델을 이용하여 응답결과의 신뢰도를 분석하는데 목적을 두고 있다. 본 연구에서는 품질관리표본(QC Sample) 설계 및 추출, 리인터뷰 시나리오개발, CATI(Computer Assisted Telephone Interviewing)를 이용한 리인터뷰 기법 등을 통계청 사업체조사 모니터링 사례를 중심으로 설명하고 조사직원 특성별 응답오차 측정 및 비교, 정확성 항목에 대한 차이분석 등 격과에 대하여 논하고자 한다.

  • 고성능의 컴퓨터들이 많이 보급되었으며, 또한, 클러스터 시스템 기술의 발전으로 클러스터 시스템의 활용이 크게 늘고 있다. 이러한 고성능의 시스템을 사용하는 사용자들은 다수의 시스템에서 수행하는 작업들을 관리(실행, 모니터링, 삭제, 결과물 관리 등)할 때에 반복적인 작업들이 많이 존재한다. 그러므로, 이러한 반복적인 작업을 손쉽게 수행해 줄 수 있는 기능이 제공된다면 업무를 효율적으로 처리할 수 있을 것이다. 이 논문에서는 분산된 다수의 시스템에서 작업을 수행할 때 스케쥴러(예: PBS, NQS)와 작업을 수행하는 일을 대신해줄 수 있는 통합 작업 스케쥴러(CJS, Consolidation Job Scheduler)를 설계하고, 그 prototype을 구현해 보았다. 스케쥴러의 종류가 많기 때문에 여기서는 PBS와 NQS에 한정하여 구현하였다.

A Study on Improved Intrusion Detection Technique Using Distributed Monitoring in Mobile Ad Hoc Network (Mobile Ad Hoc Network에서 분산 모니터링을 이용한 향상된 침입탐지 기법 연구)

  • MANET composed of only wireless nodes is increasingly utilized in various fields. However, it is exposed to many security vulnerabilities because it doesn't have any infrastructure and transmits data by using multi-hop method. Therefore, MANET should be applied the intrusion detection technique that can detect efficiently malicious nodes and decrease impacts of various attacks. In this paper, we propose a distributed intrusion detection technique that can detect the various attacks while improving the efficiency of attack detection and reducing the false positive rate. The proposed technique uses the cluster structure to manage the information in the center and monitor the traffic of their neighbor nodes directly in all nodes. We use three parameters for attack detection. We also applied an efficient authentication technique using only key exchange without the help of CA in order to provide integrity when exchanging information between cluster heads. This makes it possible to free the forgery of information about trust information of the nodes and attack nodes. The superiority of the proposed technique can be confirmed through comparative experiments with existing intrusion detection techniques.
