  • Worldwide refinery industry is a large amount of sulfur is produced by development. what that sulfur, it is produced through the desulfurization process and sulfur recover process. And it is made with the liquid state or solid-state. Also, the trend for structure is being changed from wall construction to rhamen construction. The amount of lightweight panels uesd in rhamen construction is also increasing. Therefore, In this study, it is intended to study density and absorption rate of the blast furnace slag lightweight material by using a sulfur lowered melting point. The plain has highest density and the density is lower when adding modified sulfur more. The plain has the lowest absorption and the absorption is higher according to adding modified sulfur more.

  • Recently, the large amount of sulfur is globally generated by the development of the petroleum refining industry every year. In this study, without the use of the sulfur with a high melting point used in the previous studies, the modified sulfur mortar with addition of a melting point of about 65℃ were tested to determine their distribution and strength properties according to the mixing method and curing conditions. This study is a test to find out the Density, Absorption and Table Flow of the modified sulfur and general sulfur. As result, general industrial sulfur flow was lower, showed a high absorption rate.

  • Recently, the construction structure repeats the brilliant development including the shper high rising, high functionalization, environmental friendliness, conversion to ubiquitous, and etc. upon with the construction industry development and it is continually soothed. Meanwhile, as to the construction structure of the modern society, the research for corresponding to the box-frame construction way where the response to the diversity of the life of the occupant is difficult is needed. Thus, the lightweight of the structure is the important factor in order to secure the functionality. Therefore, this research tries to study the water absorption ratio and flexural strenght of the magnesium oxide light weight matrix according to the powdery modified sulfur addition ratio.
