A film colored overlay has been used as an assistive device for dyslexics, Recently, several virtual colored overlays which can be used in computer were developed. But existing virtual overlays have some drawbacks which have limited colors and limited control capability over overlapped window by the overlays. Limited colors may prevent optimum color selection and limited control capability can obstruct to transfer keyboard and mouse operation to the overlapped window. In this paper, we implemented an overlay function which controls an overlapped window under the overlay window by using keyboard hooking and tray icon. We propose a method to determine the source color of a virtual overlays by estimating alpha value of alpha blending algorithm through measurement of the chromaticity and transmissivity of film overlays and implemented all colors which we can produce colors by using Intuitive Overlays. Test results of the developed virtual overlay show that all mentioned drawbacks of existing virtual overlays were eliminated. Therefore we can employ a result of WRRT to use the developed overlays.

The anodic $TiO_2$ layers which are prepared in various anodization conditions exhibit their specific color depending on the thickness of $TiO_2$. In this study, the relationship between the color of $TiO_2$ layer, which is grown by PEO (Plasma electrolytic oxidation), and the thickness of the $TiO_2$ layer is investigated. To evaluate the color change of the $TiO_2$ layer, the value of color ($dE^*ab$) is measured and calculated by spectrophotometer and chromameter. As a result, it is found that $dE^*ab$ values and thickness of $TiO_2$ layers form a linear relationship with meaningful formular. This formula can be helpful to quantify the thickness of the $TiO_2$ layer by the numerical $dE^*ab$ values. In this process, the spectrophotometer shows more precise results than the chromameter dose. If fluoride ions ($F^-$) are included in the electrolyte, it will affect the $dE^*ab$ values of the $TiO_2$. layer. This is against the propensity, which is analyzed by XRD (X-ray diffraction) and XPS (X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy). It is important that the formular suggested in this study provides other metals which can be also anodized with the possibility of quantifying the thickness of the $TiO_2$ layer by the $dE^*ab$ values.

A film colored overlay has been used as an assistive device for dyslexics, Recently, several virtual colored overlays which can be used in computer were developed. But mobile virtual overlay has not been developed yet. In this paper, I implemented a mobile overlay application which is based android operating system and displays a colored overlay of screen all the time while user can freely interact with rest of apps in normal manner by using root window and service. A method is presented to determine the source color of a virtual overlays by estimating alpha value of alpha blending algorithm through measurement of the chromaticity and transmissivity of film overlays and I implemented all colors which are presented by using Intuitive Overlays. Test results of the developed virtual overlay show that all colors of the overlays are almost identical to the colors of Intuitive Overlay by using the chroma meter CS-200A.

The purpose of this study was to increase the power of color and examine the long-lasting power, which is a disadvantage of one-pack acid hair dye by using chestnut shell pigment. For this, hair dyeing power was measured using a spectrophotometer, the optical density(O.D.) value was measured to examine the degree of fading of the hair, and the elasticity of the hair was analyzed by measuring the tensile strength. As a result of comparing the results of applying different leaving times and treatment methods to the hair samples of each level, the experimental group that was heat-treated for 20 minutes showed the highest dyeing power. Then, it was confirmed in the order of 40 minutes of natural exposure, 10 minutes of heat treatment, and 20 minutes of natural exposure. And it was also confirmed that the color expression visually improved as it went up to level 10. However, at level 10, it was confirmed that some water loss occurred even after 3 days and the tensile strength was low. These findings that indicated the beauty industry will popularize a one-step acid hair dye containing various natural dye ingredients to help maintain modern people's well-being and healthy mind and body.

Animal glue is a natural adhesive made from processed skins or bones of animals. It is widely used in wooden crafts, papercrafts, dancheong painting, and pictures. Accurate evaluation of the quality of animal glues during production and use is difficult because there is no formal method for testing the glue's properties during pretreatment and measurement conditions. Thus, in this study, a series of tests were carried out by changing the conditions of swelling, temperature, and concentration of animal glue and gelatin sold on the market. Twelve types of animal glues were evaluated, having a viscosity range of 12.67 cP to 29.43 cP. The results showed that the physical characteristics of the glues were stable when allowed to swell for six h in distilled water(23℃). When 10%(by weight in distilled water) of the animal glue was measured in the reflective mode of a spectrophotometer, the optical characteristics of the glues were stable. Powdered animal glues have a medium brightness and middle-high chroma. Relative to powdered glues, stick animal glues have a low brightness and a medium chroma. Based on the results of this study, it is expected that the data can be assembled into a form so that animal glue workers can use it as a reference for the preparation of evaluation standards for testing the characteristics of animal glues.

An experimental study to investigate the effect of self-cleaning of mortar mixed with photocatalyst was performed out in this study. Test parameters included the photocatalyst content and surface roughness of the specimens. The experimental mortar specimens were manufactured by mixing a photocatalyst by cement weight of 2.5%, 5.0%, 7.5% and 10.0%. In addition, the surface roughness was categorized into three cases. They included flat surface condition, little surface roughness(medium roughness), and high surface roughness. After mortar specimens were cured for 28 days, they were illuminated by an ultraviolet lamp for 24 hours and immersed in a methylene blue conditioning solution for 12 hours. Thereafter, an ultraviolet(UV) lamp was illuminated on the specimens for 48 hours in an experimental chamber and then the color change of methylene blue solution was measured by using a spectrophotometer over illuminating time of UV lamp. The color change of methylene blue tended to increase as photocatalyst contents increased. Test results meant that photocatalyst was effective for self-cleaning in mortar. However, the color change of the methylene blue solution did not show a noticeable tendency at different surface roughness conditions. It might be due to the uneven photocatalyst distribution on the surface of mortar specimens.
For this study, specimens were prepared using five types of composite resin and resin-reinforced glass ionomer Fuji II LC, and 29 days precipitation was done in four kinds of solution, which were soy sauce, gochujang, wine, and distilled water. Ten specimens for each coloring sample were divided into two groups, one those surfaces was polyester film and the other with 1200-grit abrasive paper, and 20 specimens per materials. Color change (${\Delta}{\ast}ab$) in the colored specimens is measured in 2days, 7days, 14days and 29days using spectrophotometer (CM-2600d, Konica, Minolta, Ramsey, NJ). All values were considered significant when P<0.05. 1. Each material is discolored over time under the influence of different storage solutions. 2. In soy source, among the specimens polished with polyester film, color change was observed in resin-modified glass ionomer Fuji II LC, prodigy and compomer F-2000 on day 2. Meanwhile, Fuji II LC showed noticeable color change in specimens prepared with 1200-grit sandpaper on day 2, which was followed by flowable resin on day 7. 3. On day 2, there was a color change with the specimens of flowable resin, resin-modified glass ionomer Fuji II LC and Prodigy among the hybrid specimen in the groups of polyester film in gochujang.

This study relates to the development of a new gel sheet mask that finally does not require support based on the reactivity and acid/base reaction experiments of Tamarindus indica seed gum (TG), ethanol, and polyols. When TG and a specific alcohol was mixed at a certain mixing ratio, a transparent gel is formed by reaction with each component, and thus a gel sheet mask without support might be obtained using the mixture. In order to maximize skin tone improvement, a carbonation system of acid and base reactions was introduced, and skin brightness and moisturizing power were evaluated using a spectrophotometer and a moisture measuring device. Through this study, it is expected that the gelation reaction by hydrogen bonding of TG, ethanol, and polyols can be developed into various types, and the gel sheet mask formulation introduced in this study is expected to help develop new products in the future.

In this study, the stability of cream containing 1% of cannabidiol (CBD) with more than 99% extracted from domestic Cannabis sativa was evaluated. The pH, hardness, content, and chromaticity were measured at intervals of 2 weeks under storage conditions for each temperature for 12 weeks (4 ℃, 25 ℃, 37 ℃, and 45 ℃). The pH of the experimental group containing 1% of CBD tended to decrease more than that of the control group. As a result of measuring the change in the content of CBD in the cream under each temperature for 12 weeks using HPLC, the difference in the amount of decrement according to temperature was confirmed. It was confirmed that as a result of measuring the chromaticity using color difference meter, the yellowness of the cream containing CBD increased according to the increase by the storage period and temperature compared to the control group. From the above results, it was confirmed that the content decrease and color change according to the temperature of the pH 5 ~ 6 cream formulation containing CBD. When CBD is applied to medicine and cosmetic formulations in the future, it is considered that research and development should be conducted in consideration of the change in the quantity and physicochemical quality of CBD under the temperature.
