Research on quality of lives of North korean defector students (사이버대학 북한이탈주민 학생들의 삶의 질에 대한 연구)

  • 본 연구는 북한이탈주민 학생들에 대한 2차 년도 연구로(2014년도 연구 : 북한이탈주민 학생들의 교육경험과 그들의 필요), 전체 온라인 대학교 중 가장 많은 수의 북한이탈주민학생을 보유하고 있는 서울사이버대학교의 학생들의 삶의 질 정도를 파악하는데 목적을 두고 있다. 본 연구는 그들의 삶의 질 정도를 파악함으로써 그들이 남한사회에서 융화하면 살아가는데 있어 진정으로 필요한 것이 무엇이며, 생활의 질의 정도를 높이기 위한 방법은 무엇일까를 찾아보려는 일련의 시도이다. 본 연구는 질적연구의 방법을 택해 15여명의 인터뷰이를 대상으로 할 것이다.

Rapid Education and Training Methodology for North Korean Construction Workers through a Survey (설문조사를 통한 북한 건설노동자의 급속 양성 교육·훈련 방안)

  • North Korea's demand for infrastructure construction and maintenance is growing rapidly. On the other hand, the number of skilled workers is insufficient. Therefore, through a survey of North Korean defectors, this study analyzed the status of construction technology and the difficulties of construction workers. In addition, an attempt was made to derive an appropriate education and training program process and operation plan. As a result of the survey, the reason for the low technical level of construction workers was the lack of skills, lack of motivation to work, and the lack of training and management systems. The appropriate education and training period was 56% of the total response within one year and 36% within six months. Based on the results of this survey, the period of education and training for the rapid training of construction technical personnel in North Korea was adopted as one year. Moreover, compared to the NCS standard in South Korea, appropriate training hours were suggested, excluding training courses, such as planning and design, construction management that require specialized knowledge. Finally, the curriculum corresponding to the education and training courses and the standards for facility names and required areas for facility operation were suggested.

An Analysis of the PCK Components of Science Teacher's Guidebooks for Elementary School and Middle School in North Korea (북한 소학교와 초급중학교 과학과 교사용 지도서의 교수내용지식(PCK) 요소 분석)

  • This study aims to understand science education conducted in North Korea by analyzing the PCK components shown in two science teacher's guidebooks: (1) Guidebook for 1st grade elementary school and (2) Guidebook for 1st grade middle school. These were published after 2013, when "the first 12-year Universal Compulsory Curriculum" was implemented in North Korea. The analysis shows that both elementary and middle school guidebooks had the highest percentage of content in "Knowledge of Subject Matter", followed by "Knowledge of Instructional Strategies in Science" and "Knowledge of Science Curriculum". On the other hand, "Knowledge of Assessment in Science" and "Knowledge of Students" were significantly low in content. Within the "Knowledge of Subject Matter", both elementary and middle schools had the highest proportion of content in "Concepts and Theories", along with "Experiments and Inquiries" that was also significantly higher than other PCK components. Science teacher's guidebooks in North Korea advocates constructivist teaching style by using "discussions" as the main activity when conveying scientific concepts and theories to students or conducting scientific inquiry classes. Furthermore, "Knowledge of Instructional Strategies in Science" was mainly focused on guiding the "Instruction sequence and method" from the "Topic-specific Strategies", while only a small part of the "Subject-specific Strategies" was being presented. Also, Science teacher's guide books in North Korea included only a few theoretical elements of science education in both the general outline and the particular sections of guidebooks. "Knowledge of Science Curriculum" was mainly composed of "Lesson Objectives" with some inclusion of "Vertical Articulation" and "Horizontal Articulation". "Knowledge of Assessment in Science" and "Knowledge of Students" accounted for a small portion compared to the science teacher's guidebooks in South Korea.

Comparison of North & South Korea Using Anthropometric Measurements of North Korea Detectors - North Korean Detectors at an Educational Institute(Hanawon) in South Korea (북한 이탈 주민의 신체 계측치를 이용한 남북한 비교 연구-하나원 훈련생들을 중심으로)

  • 본 연구에서는 2003년 6월~2003년 12월 사이에 탈북적응훈련 교육원에 입소한 854명의 북한 이탈주민들의 신체 계측치를 이용하여 북한 이탈주민들의 체질량지수(BMI)를 파악함으로써 북한 주민들의 건강상태를 간접적으로 유추하였다. 연구결과 신장은 전 연령에서 남한이 북한보다 컸으며, 남한주민의 체중이 북한보다 많았다. 또한, 20세 이상 남북한 주민의 BMI 분포를 연령별로 보면 북한 이탈 남성의 경우 55세 이상 연령집단에서과체중 현상을 보였으나, 남한의 남성은거의 모든 연령집단에서 과체중인 것으로 나타났다. 북한 이탈 여성의 경우 45-54세와 70-74세에서 과체중 및 1단계 비만을 보였지만, 남한 여성의 경우 40-44세, 50-74세는 과체중, 45-49세는 1단계비만으로 나타났다. 최근의 북한 이탈주민들일수록 신장, 체중 모두 작았다. 본 연구결과에 따르면 북한 이탈주민들은 식량부족사태가 있기 이전부터 이미 남한과 신체 계측치에서 차이를 보였으며,1980년 말부터 시작된 식량난과 1990년대 중반에 지속적으로 일어난 자연재해 등으로 인해 북한 주민들은 더 왜소화되고 만성적 영양결핍상태가 더욱 만연해지고 있음을 알 수 있다.

  • 본 연구에서는 북한이탈주민 남한사회 정착을 위한 정책 방안을 모색하여 정책의 기초 자료 활용과 시사점의 제공에 목적을 두고자 하였다. 이를 위해 기존의 문헌연구와 통계자료를 활용하여 인과모형을 설정하였다. 연구결과 먼저, 불안한 신변을 위해 개인의 정보 보호가 이루어 져야 한다. 둘째, 심리적 문제 해결과 이를 통한 정서적 안정이 마련되어져야 한다. 셋째, 국적에 관한 문제를 제도적으로 명확히 하여야 한다. 넷째, 경제적 문제 해결을 위한 현실적인 서비스 지원 개선책이 마련되어야 한다. 다섯째, 국가나 지방자치단체의 적극적인 인식의 개선 노력과 시민교육을 통한 문화적 차이를 해소할 수 있는 공동체 교육이 이루어져야 한다.

A Study on Nursing Students Multicultural Efficacy towards North Korean Refugees (간호대학생의 북한이탈주민에 대한 다문화 효능감에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to determine the factors affecting the multicultural efficacy towards North Korean Refugees of Nursing Students. Data were collected 283 undergraduate students from July 2017 to December 2017. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, correlation and multiple regression. The findings showed that study grade(p=.033), liberal arts in formal multicultural education experience(p=.009), membership of national identity(p=.001), and cognition(p=.049), consciousness (p=.008), behavior(p=.001) of cultural awareness were significant factors affecting multicultural efficacy towards North Korean Refugees of Nursing Students. The results of this study indicate that multicultural education and educational system related to North Korean Refugees should be establish in the curriculum to enhance the efficacy of nursing. This research is expected to provide a foundation for nursing students to perform their roles as competent cultural agents in society after graduation.
