F-15K 전투기 사업의 핵심 쟁점 사항

  • 차기 전투기 사업의 성과는 공군의 전력 증강이라는 기본적인 목표 달성이외에 부수적으로 달성한 절충교역 내용이 매우 중요하다. 절충교역 분야는 기술이전, 부품제작/수출, 창정비 등 크게 3가지 분야로 나뉘어 공군, 조달본부, 국방과학연구소, 국내 방산업체 등이 협상에 참여하였는데, 국익을 우선으로 하여 적극적으로 협상을 추진한 결과 당초 목표를 크게 웃도는 85%라는 높은 성과를 달성하였다. 이로써 군은 국내 창정비 능력을 통해 원활한 군수지원이 가능하게 되었고, 특히 유사시 작전 효율성 증대에 크게 기여할 것으로 예상된다.

  • 지금까지 간단하게나마 MLCC 제품군별로 제품개발 요구사항과 기술개발현황을 살펴 보았다. 2008년 세계금융위기 이후 IT 분야를 중심으로 급증하고 있는 전자부품수요에 대응하기 위해 MLCC 업계는 시장선점을 위한 제품개발과 증설을 서두르고 있으며, 초고용량MLCC로 대표되는 고부가시장의 개척과 생산성향상을 통한 원가경쟁력 확보가 화두가 되고 있다. 세라믹후막기술의 구현 정도에 따라 초고용량 MLCC 개발에 필수적인 소형화 박층화기술의 발전방향이 판가름 날 것으로 보이며, 특히 기초소재가 되는 유전체재료와 나노파우더 합성기술, 그리고 이를 적용할 수 있는 제반 공정기술 및 설비 개발 등의 종합적인 전개를 통해 MLCC 시장이 지속적으로 확대 발전될 것으로 믿는다.

  • 본 연구에서는 물류의 개선 및 생산율 향상을 통하여 전 생산시스템의 생산성을 향상시키기 위한 효율적인 제조셀의 설계 및 운용시에 고려하여야 할 요소를 고찰하였다. 효율적인 제조셀을 형성하는데 발생하는 문제점(부품/기계군 형성, 설비배치, 스태핑, 셀 일정계획 및 운용)을 해결하기 위하여 필요한 요소별 지침을 제시하였다. 그러나, 셀생산의 장점을 충분히 얻기 위해서는 이들 요소들은 종합적으로 고려하여야 한다.

  • Before an actual military communications satellite is designed and constructed, a feasibility study should take place. The basic functions of such system can be observed and demonstrated in an X-Band payload simulator. For this purpose a Payload Concept Model (PCM) for X-Band payload subsystem has been developed to simulate the workings of an actual military communications payload. This paper explains and illustrates the mechanical design, manufacture, and integration of the PCM. Basic RF tests also have been performed in order to verify the design requirement of the system. The results demonstrate successful development of the PCM and operation without RF losses.

  • This paper describes the realization of the Ka-band group-delay equalized filter desisted with the help of a new hybrid method of Simulated Annealing(SA) and Conjugate Gradient(CG), to be employed by the multi-channel Input Multiplexer for a satellite use, each channel of which comprises a channel filter and a group-delay equalizer. The SA and CG find circuit parameters of an 8th order elliptic function filter and a 2-pole equalizer, respectively. Measurement results demonstrate that the performances of the designed component meet the specifications, and validate the design methods.

  • The problem of the formation of machine-part cells in FMS is a very important issue at the planning and operating stages of FMS. This problem is inherently a combinatorial optimization problem, proven to be NP-complete(or, NP-hard). Among the several kinds of approaches which have been applied to solve the combinatorial optimization problems, the Simulated Annealing(SA) algorithm, a technique of random search type with a flexibility in generating alternatives, is a powerful problem solving tool. In this paper, the SA algorithm is used to solve machine cell-part family formation problems. The primary purpose of the study is to find the near-optimal solution of machine cell-part family formation problem, whare the product volume and number of operations are prespecified, that can minimize the total material handling cost caused by exceptional elements and intercell moves as much as possible. The results show that the SA algorithm is able to find a near-optimal solution for practical problems of the machine cell-part family formation.

Logic implementation of HDB3 Codec (HDB3 Codec의 로직 구현)

  • The HDB3 code, a type of line code, is a data coding method used for digital data transmission. It is used to remove the DC wander on the transmission line which occurs when the DC component data is transmitted continuously. The military tactical communication network uses HDB3 code for data transmission and develops equipment using commercial HDB3 Codec IC. Because it is operated for more than 10 years due to the characteristics of military equipment, if a failure occurs in the equipment, the equipment can not be repaired due to the discontinuance of the part, so that the entire equipment may not be used. In this paper, we implement the HDB3 Codec as a logic to solve this problem and verify that the performance is equivalent to that of commercial parts.

  • The main industries in Chungcheongbuk-do are the smart IT parts; bio-health; and transportation machinery, materials and parts. The transportation, machinery, materials and parts (TMMP) industry is a key source technology for environmentally friendly and intelligent vehicles related to future vehicles in the machinery sector. Business support projects to improve this industry are currently underway. In this study, the number of enterprises, number of employees, amount of shipment, and added value of the enterprises in Chungbuk area were analyzed for the downstream and rear industries of the transportation, machinery, materials, and parts industry to set targets and directions for the technical support projects during the enterprise support. In particular, for the SMEs with less than 50 employees, the changes in the value added per enterprise were analyzed according to the period from the year of foundation. In the case of the rear industry, the value added by companies within three years after foundation has decreased gradually each year, so technical support is needed at the beginning of the startup. Companies between the ages of five and nine years are showing a fluctuating trend each year. Therefore, it is necessary to support business diversification or find new items.

A Study on the Quality Improvement of Red Dot Sight for Grenade Launcher by Parallax Reduction (고속유탄기관총용 조준경의 시차 개선을 통한 조준경 품질 향상에 관한 연구)

  • This study performed the quality improvement of a red dot sight for a 40 mm grenade launcher through parallax reduction. The red dot sight cited in this study is currently in mass production for military use as a non-weapon system. While the red dot sight's parallax currently meets requirements, slightly greater error was observed on the outside of effective optical area of the reflection lens compared to other sights. Parallax is easily affected by eye movement, which can result in aiming error. To improve the red dot sight's quality, this study analyzed why parallax is observed in the effective optical area of the reflection lens and how to reduce it. As a result, the red dot sight demonstrated lower parallax error using the new optical system design with an increased reflection lens thickness and modified components configuration related to the reflection lens assembly. Parallax was calculated and simulated by using a particular program to verify that it decreased. This improvement for the 40 mm. grenade launcher red dot sight more than satisfies requirements, offers advanced capabilities for users, and as a result, successful operation carryout.
