수술 시 시행되는 마취 과정에서 저혈압, 빈맥 등의 합병증이 다양한 정도로 발생한다. 이는 환자의 수술 후 심근경색이나 급성 신장 손상과 같은 심각한 합병증을 야기할 수 있으며 이러한 합병증들은 환자를 사망에 이르게 하는 원인이 되기도 한다. 본 연구에서는 머신러닝 기법을 활용해 전신마취 유도 중 저혈압 발생 환자를 예측하고자 한다. 순천향대학교 부천병원에서 수집된 207명 환자의 데이터를 이용하여 저혈압 발생 환자를 탐지하는 모델을 구축하였다. 의무 기록정보에 나타난 성별, 나이, 몸무게, 키, 신체적 상태 정보와 마취 유도 단계의 생체 신호 정보를 이용하였다. 신체적 상태 정보를 제외한 전체 피쳐를 모두 사용하였을 때, 탐지 정확도 68.06%, 관련 논문을 바탕으로 중요 피쳐만을 사용하여 실험하였을 때, 정확도 71.53%였으며, 환자의 신체적 상태 피쳐를 포함하여 실험하였을 때, 정확도 75%로 가장 우수한 결과를 얻었다.

Catathrenia is a rare sleep disease characterized by monotonous groaning sounds that appear to be related with prolonged expiration, commonly experienced during rapid eye movement (REM) sleep. Catathrenia is also known as nocturnal groaning or sleep-related groaning and is currently categorized as a sleep-related breathing disorder. We present a rare case of a 19-year-old male with nocturnal groaning during non-REM sleep. We suggest that if catathrenia is suspected, polysomnography should be utilized to differentiate it from various sleep disorders such as snoring, central sleep apnea, sleep talking, parasomnia, and sleep-related movement disorders.

The optimal treatments of carcinoma in situ of glottis include radiotherapy, laser surgery and vertical partial laryngectomy. Conventional surgical treatments need general anesthesia and radiotherapy has several complications. Recently, the effectiveness of 532 nm potassium titanyl phosphate (KTP) laser has been proven and widely used in vocal fold diseases even some cases of vocal fold dysplasia. A patient with difficult laryngeal exposure underwent fiberoptic laryngeal laser surgery using KTP laser under local anesthesia, showed improved voice outcome and the glottic lesion was removed successfully without local recurrence and regional metastasis 18 months after surgery.

Muscle tension dysphonia (MTD) is a voice disorder characterized by excessive tension of the laryngeal muscles during phonation. Voice therapy is the gold standard of treatment for MTD. However, patients with MTD do not always respond to voice therapy. Multidisciplinary approaches have been attempted to treat intractable MTD such as lidocaine instillation, lidocaine injection to recurrent laryngeal nerve, botox injection and excision of false ventricle using CO₂ laser. Recently, injection laryngoplasty is suggested that assists in more efficient phonation and voice therapy to MTD patients. A patient with intractable MTD underwent lidocaine injection and injection laryngoplasty showed improved voice quality and remained stable until postoperative 3 months without any complications.

Most spinal meningiomas have an intradural or partly extradural location. The meningothelial origin is the most common pathologic type of spinal meningioma. Pure extradural spinal meningiomas are not common, and lymphoplasmacyte-rich meningioma (LPRM) is very rare. We report a case of isolated extradural spinal meningioma in the thoracic spine that was pathologically confirmed as LPRM.

Hypertrophic osteoarthropathy (HOA) is a syndrome characterized by digital clubbing, periosteal bone formation, and synovial effusions. Secondary HOA is associated with intrathoracic malignancy in most cases; however, in rare cases, HOA can be caused by extrathoracic conditions. We report early ultrasound, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, and bone scintigraphy findings of HOA in a patient with breast cancer. Its ambiguous clinical and imaging findings that mimicked malignant conditions are particularly interesting and informative.

Objective: This research reviews and investigates the trends in recent clinical studies of polycystic kidney disease (PKD) in China. Method: We searched for clinical studies discussing Oriental medicine-based treatments for PKD in the China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) database. Thirteen clinical articles published from 2001 to 2019 were analyzed. The search focused on the authors, publication year, type of study, purposes of study, method and duration of treatment, evaluation criteria, and results of the selected articles. Results: Of the articles from the database, 9 case series and 4 randomized controlled trials (RCTs) were analyzed. Ten articles used herbal medicine; 4 used herbal medicine for external use. Gamigyejibokryeong-hwan was the most common herbal prescription. The most frequently used herb was Polia Sclerotium (茯苓), and Cnidii Rhizoma (川芎) was employed in all the external uses. All 13 studies confirmed the efficacy of Oriental medicine treatments. Conclusion: 1. Scientifically designed and more varied clinical studies are required to develop treatments for PKD. 2. The current study could be used as basic data in future clinical studies on treatment and further studies of PKD.

이 글은 제 1 회 부천국제판타스틱영화제(1997년 8월 29일부터 9월 5일까지 경기도 부천시에서 개최)조직위원회로부터 1997년 6월경에 의뢰를 받아 35mm 필름으로 작업한 20초 분량의 영화제 공식 리더필름에 대한 작업 결과를 요약한 것이다. 작업 내용에 있어서는 3D 컴퓨터그래픽의 무리한 적용보다는 최소한의 절제하고 주로 드로잉 냄새가 강한 2D 캐릭터를 부각시켜, 국내 최초로 도입되는 ‘판타스틱’ 장르 영화제의 취지를 반영해보고자 고심했다. 배경은 3D로 처리하고 캐릭터는 직접 페이퍼에 그려 스캐닝 한 후 2D 공정을 거쳐 이 둘을 합성하였다. 이 작업방식은 당시의 컴퓨터 환경에서는 꽤 거친 공정을 필요로 하였다. 역사적인 조르주 멜리에스의 <달세계 여행> 스틸 컷을 활용한 도입부와 돌비스테레오 녹음방식을 채택한 이 작품의 개요를 정리하면 다음과 같다. ${\circ}$화면형식 : 35mm 스텐다드 사이즈 필름(상영용은 Beta버전) ${\circ}$작품길이 : 20초 ${\circ}$음향 : 돌비스테레오 방식(Only music) ${\circ}$제작기간 : 1997년 6월 - 8월 ${\circ}$사용S/W : 포토샵, 툰즈, 소프트이미지

Posterior root tear of the medial meniscus are well known. Although very rare, there are reports of anterior root tears of the medial meniscus but no reports on traumatic bony avulsion of the anterior medial meniscus root. This paper reports a case of an isolated bony avulsion of the anterior medial meniscus root, which was successfully repaired arthroscopically.

Bucheon city has been rapidly urbanized and steadily enlarged. Also, the city depends on groundwater as an alternative water resource. The objective of this study is to characterize the hydrogeology in this city including the recharge of groundwater and hydraulic property of an aquifer in order to investigate the chemical characteristics and contamination of groundwater in the Bucheon area. Eleven groundwater wells in the Bucheon area were selected for applying certain hydraulic tests, such as pumping and recovery tests. Theis method and Theis recovery method were used to obtain hydraulic parameters, such as hydraulic conductivity, transmissivity by applying recovery tests. The playground of school and uncovered areas layed a major function of recharging areas. The groundwater well in these areas showed high recharge, transmissivity, and hydraulic conductivity. In a downtown area, groundwaier wells showed low pumping capacity and hydraulic parameters. Groundwater samples were collected from 48 different locations in the Bucheon area and that showed very various chemical composition in groundwater Their electrical conductivity showed various ranges from 70.4 to $1,287{\mu}S/cm$. The composition more significantly affected the groundwater due to the land use and urbanization than that of the aquifer rock type.
