An Exploratory Study on the Sharing and Application of Public Open Big Data (공공 빅데이터 개방 및 활용 활성화 방안에 대한 연구)

  • With the growing interest in the 4th industrial revolution and big data, various policies are being developed for facilitating the use of public open big data, which are leading to a wide range of added values created from use of such data. Despite the expanded requirements for public data disclosure and the legal system improvement, however, the use of public open big data is still limited. According to the literature review, there are studies on policy proposals for the government guiding directions for public open big data, but there is a lack of studies that handle the issue from the users' viewpoint. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the public open data ecosystem in Korea and to analyze public open big data through interviews with the providers (the government and public institutions) and users (private sector companies and citizens). This way, the study finds inhibition factors and facilitation factors, draws out issues and suggests solutions through a causal relationship analysis between each factor. Being a research on finding measures for facilitating both public big data release and use, this study has theoretical implications. In the meanwhile, the derived issues and alternatives provide practical implications also for stakeholders who are planning to facilitate release and use of public open big data.

Study of flood prevention alternative priorities using MCDM (Multi-Criteria Decision Making) (MCDM을 이용한 홍수방어대안 우선순위 정립에 관한 연구)

  • Recently, due to global warming and climate change in Korea, local heavy storm occurs frequently. In this study, the risky areas for flooding in urban areas are analyzed for flood inundation based on two-dimensional urban flood runoff model (XP-SWMM) focusing on coastal high flood-risk urban areas. In addition, the MCDM (Multi-Criteria Decision Making) technique is utilized in order to establish the flood defense structural measures. The alternative flood reduction method are compared and the optimum flood defense measures are selected. A simulation model was used with three structural flood prevention measures (drainage pipe construction, water detention, flood pumping station). In order to decrease the flooding area, flood assessment criteria are suggested (flooded area, maximum inundation depth, damaged residential area, construction cost). Priorities of alternatives are determined by using compromise programming. As a result, the optimal flood defence alternative suggested for Janghang Zone 1 is flood pumping station and for Janghang Zone 2, 3 are drainage pipe construction.

Application of Traffic Conflict Decision Criteria for Signalized Intersections Using an Individual Vehicle Tracking Technique (개별차량 추적기법을 이용한 신호교차로 교통상충 판단기준 정립 및 적용)

  • Development of an accident estimation model based on accident data can be made after accident occurrences. However, the taking of historical accident data is not easy, and there have been differences between real accident data and police-reported accident data. Also, another difficult shortcoming is that historical traffic accident data better consider driver behavior or intersection characteristics. A new method needs to be developed that can predict accident occurrences for traffic safety improvement in black spots. Traffic conflict decision techniques can acquire and analyze data in time and space, requiring less data collection through investigation. However, there are shortcomings: as existing traffic conflict techniques do not operate automatically, the analyst's opinion could easily affect the study results. Also, existing methods do not consider the severity of traffic conflicts. In this study, the authors presented traffic conflict decision criteria which consider conflict severity, including opposing left turn traffic conflict and cross traffic conflict decision criteria. In order to test these criteria, the authors acquired three signalized intersection images (two intersections in Sungnam city and one intersection in Paju) and analyzed the acquired images using image processing techniques based on individual vehicle tracking technology. Within the analyzed images, level 1 conflicts occurred 343 times over three intersections. Some of these traffic conflicts resulted in level 3 conflict situations. Level 3 traffic conflicts occurred 25 times. From the study results, the authors found that traffic conflict decision techniques can be an alternative to evaluate traffic safety in black spots.

Improving Low Flow Estimation for Ungauged Basins in Korea (국내 미계측유역의 갈수량 산정 개선)

  • Low flow is a minimum flow discharging during a dry season in a unregulated stream which can be shared by nature and human being. It is also a standard flow that determines a diversion requirement by evaluating water supply ability of streamflow in the aspect of water use. Low flow indices are used as average low flow and 1-day 10-year low flow in Korea and Japan and as 7-day 10-year low flow in the United States of America and the United Kingdom. In this research, these three indices were compared by the data observed and generated. Although daily records are needed to calculate the low flow, gauging stations are limited and records of the dry season are insufficient in Korea. Drainage-area ratio method is mainly used in Korea to estimate the low flow. This research shows the guideline when the drainage-area ratio method, the regional regression method, and the baseflow correlation method to calculate the low flow of ungauged basins are applied and recommends low flow estimation method suitable to Korea.

Variability of Contribution of Picophytoplankton in the Phytoplankton Community in the Southwestern East Sea (가을철 동해 남서부해역 초미소식물플랑크톤의 전체 식물플랑크톤 생체량에 대한 기여도 변동성)

  • Picophytoplankton, an important primary producer especially at the oligotrophic region, is known to contribute a significant portion of the total phytoplankton biomass in the East Sea of Korea. During autumn in the southwestern East Sea, frequent upwellings and oligotrophic conditions occur and annual variation of primary productivity is known to be significant. Moreover sea surface temperature (SST) of the East Sea is steeply increasing compared to global average increase, so various changes in marine ecosystem related with increase of SST are reported. Taking such circumstances into consideration, we measured the contribution from picophytoplankton fraction to total phytoplankton composition by size fraction of phytoplankton biomass during the autumn seasons from 2011, 2013 and 2015 and examined the variation of the phytoplankton composition. As a result of size fraction analyses, we found that the variation of contribution from picophytoplankton(<$3{\mu}m$) to total community of phytoplankton was high and the average fractions of picophytoplankton were measured as 38% (2011), 59% (2013), 7% (2015), respectively. The difference between measured SST and annual mean SST (${\Delta}T$) was highest ($+1.6^{\circ}C$) in autumn of 2013 and lowest ($-0.9^{\circ}C$) in autumn of 2015. The close positive correlation between ${\Delta}SST$ and fraction of picophytoplankton was confirmed($R^2$ > 0.9). The increase in SST at the southern East Sea was confirmed as one of the main environmental factors in the increase in the increase of the contribution from picophytoplankton. Monitoring of changes in the community structure of primary producers and the influences of the environmental factors including SST in the East Sea is necessary to understand the interactions of ecosystem of the East Sea and the climate change in the near future.

Trajectory Index Structure based on Signatures for Moving Objects on a Spatial Network (공간 네트워크 상의 이동객체를 위한 시그니처 기반의 궤적 색인구조)

  • Because we can usually get many information through analyzing trajectories of moving objects on spatial networks, efficient trajectory index structures are required to achieve good retrieval performance on their trajectories. However, there has been little research on trajectory index structures for spatial networks such as FNR-tree and MON-tree. Also, because FNR-tree and MON-tree store the segment unit of moving objects, they can't support the trajectory of whole moving objects. In this paper, we propose an efficient trajectory index structures based on signatures on a spatial network, named SigMO-Tree. For this, we divide moving object data into spatial and temporal attributes, and design an index structure which supports not only range query but trajectory query by preserving the whole trajectory of moving objects. In addition, we divide user queries into trajectory query based on spatio-temporal area and similar-tralectory query, and propose query processing algorithms to support them. The algorithm uses a signature file in order to retrieve candidate trajectories efficiently Finally, we show from our performance analysis that our trajectory index structure outperforms the existing index structures like FNR-Tree and MON-Tree.

  • 새로운 지능기반사회(ubiquitous society) 패러다임이란 전제 아래 미국을 비롯해 일본, 유럽 등 세계 각국에서는 모바일, 브로드밴드, 극소형 컴퓨터, IPv6의 기술이 창출해 내는 컴퓨팅 혁명의 실체를 유비궈터스 IT로 파악하고 각 국의 걸부, 기업, 연구소들이 주도권을 잡기 위해 많은 노력을 기울이고 있다. 현재 유비쿼터스 IT를 활용한 u-비즈니스를 활성화하고 관련 시장을 선점하기 위한 전 세계적인 경쟁은 매우 치열한 양상을 보이고 있다. 주요 국가들은 서로 지향하는 영역은 다르지만 궁극적으로 지능기반사회 구현이라는 대명제 아래 독자적인 산업 구축을 위해 노력하고 있다. 이러한 이유는 기본적으로 지능기반사회로의 이행과정에서 발생하는 경제적 파급효과, 예컨대 디지털 가전, 이동통신기기, 전자의료기기, 디스플레이, 2차 전지, 보안 등 관련 산업에 미치는 영향 및 새로운 시장 창출의 기회가 있기 때문이다. 기존의 많은 연구 및 문헌에서는 아직도 유비쿼터스 IT에 대한 개념적인 논의에 치중되어 있고 시장 중심적 또는 수요자 중심적 사고의 논의가 부족하다. 성공적으로 유비쿼터스 산업을 육성하기 위해서는 유비쿼터스 IT자체기술 개발사업(tangible service) 뿐만 아니라 비가시적(intangible) 서비스, 그리고 컨버전스(convergence) 서비스에 대한 상용화 모델과 성공적 사업 전개 방법론에 대한 깊은 연구가 수행되어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 먼저 유비쿼터스 IT의 기술동향과 시장 동향 및 산업 규모에 대한 문헌연구를 통해 u-비즈니스의 가능성을 고찰해보고, u-비즈니스 추진 전략을 탐색적으로 제시하고자 한다.되었다. SPME-GC/MS에 의한 휘발성분 분석 결과, 기능성 유지에서 홍국쌀 에탄올 추출물로부터 기인되는 특유의 휘발성분은 관찰되지 않았으나, RT=12.1 min인 hexanal의 함량이 control에 비하여 유의적인 감소 경향을 나타내는 것이 확인되었다(p<0.05).히지 못하여, 이의 기전을 밝히기 위한 추후 연구가 필요하다./TEX>로서 p<0.01 수준에서 현저히 증가하였다. 혈청의 인지질과 콜레스테롤 에스테르의 지방산 조성에서 vitamin C를 혼합 투여한 3,5,7군에서 PUFA 함량이 증가한 반면, SFA 함량은 감소하여 P/S 비율, n-3P/n-6P 비율은 증가하는 경향이었으며 이는 간장의 인지질, 콜레스테롤 에스테르, 총 지질의 지방산조성에서도 같은 경향을 볼 수 있었다.X>$(C_{18:2})$와 n-3계 linolenic acid$(C_{18:3})$가 대부분을 차지하였다. 야생 돌복숭아 과육 중의 지방산 조성은 포화지방산이 16.74%, 단불포화지방산 17.51% 및 다불포화지방산이 65.73%의 함유 비율을 보였는데, 이 중 다불포화지방산인 n-6계 linoleic acid$(C_{18:2})$와 n-3계 linolenic acid$(C_{18:3})$가 지질 구성 총 지방산의 대부분을 차지하는 함유 비율을 나타내었다.했다. 하강하는 약 4일간의 기상변화가 자발성 기흉 발생에 영향을 미친다고 추론할 수 있었다. 향후 본 연구에서 추론된 기상변화와 기흉 발생과의 인과관계를 확인하고 좀 더 구체화하기 위한 연구가 필요할 것이다.게 이루어질 수 있을 것

Conjoint Analysis를 이용한 대학 급식소 선택속성 규명 및 급식소 신설 전략 도출

  • 최근 대학생들은 초등학교 때부터 혹은 중학교 때부터 급식을 받아온 세대로 급식체계에 싫증을 내고 학교 밖의 외부식당으로 눈을 돌리고 있는 세대이다. 또한, 위탁급식전문업체의 대학 내 급식사업 참여와 많은 선행 연구 등을 토대로 여러 면에서 대학 내 구내식당이 개선되고 있으나 아직도 매우 부족한 실정이다. 따라서, 본 연구는 외부식당과의 경쟁으로 현재 급식인원수가 매년 감소하여 운영상의 어려움을 겪고 있는 S 대학 학생식당 고객의 급식소 선택속성에 대한 의견을 조사하고 현재 운영중인 급식소 이외에 추가 설립하고자 하는 식당 신설에 대한 전략을 도출하고자 한다. SPSS통계 package (ver. 11.0)를 활용하여 기술통계(descriptive analysis), 컨조인트 분석 (conjoint analysis)을 실시하였다. 현재 학생식당 이용빈도 감소원인은 ‘음식이 맛이 없어서’가 44.8%, ‘거리가 멀기 때문’이 19.9%로 조사되어, 학생식당의 이용빈도에 가장 큰 영향을 주는 것은 '음식 맛'과 '거리'인 것으로 파악되었으며, 학생식당에 대한 전반적인 만족도는 ‘보통이다’가 37.8%, ‘불만족 한다’가 36%, ‘매우 불만족한다’가 18.4%, ‘만족한다’가 7.8%로 조사되어 응답자의 대부분이 식당에 대해 불만족하고 있었다. 거리에 의해 식당의 이용빈도가 감소하고 있는 것은 현 학생식당의 위치가 강의 동과 먼 거리에 위치하고 있어 강의 동이 밀집해 있는 건물과 근거리에 식당이 개설된다면 이용할 의사가 있는지 여부에 대해 64.7%가 이용하겠다는 의사를 밝혔고 26.1%는 이용하지 않겠다고 응답했다. 따라서, 학생들이 인식하는 적정 거리의 식당 위치를 파악하기 위해 식당으로 이용하는 소요시간에 대해서 조사대상자가 멀다고 인식하는 시간과 가까운 거리라고 인식하는 시간에 대한 조사 결과 가까운 거리로 인지하는 평균 이동소요시간(분)은 5분이었으며 먼 거리로 인지하는 평균이동소요시간은 10.9분으로 적당한 식당의 위치는 S~10분내의 거리로 9분 30초의 거리에 식당이 위치하면 학생들의 이용률을 극대화시킬 수 있을 거라 사료된다. 사전 대면면접을 통해 가격, 소요시간, 음식의 맛으로 선정된 속성과 각 속성별 수준을 활용한 컨조인트 분석 실시하여 도출된 학생들의 급식소 선택 시 중요하게 인식하는 속성은 가격대, 소요 시간, 음식 맛 순으로 나타났으며, 각각의 중요도는 가격이 65.42%, 소요시간인 24.76%, 음식의 맛이 9.82%였다. 즉, 학생들은 학생식당의 서비스 품질 속성 중에서 상대적으로 식사 가격을 가장 중요하기 생각하는 것으로 나타났고, 다음으로는 식사를 하기 위해 식당까지 가는데 소요되는 시간, 음식의 맛을 중요하게 생각하는 것으로 분석되었다. 컨조인트 분석결과 조사대상자가 가장 선호하는 대학 식당으로는 이동하는데 6-10분이 소요되는 거리에 위치한 식당으로 2,100-2,500원 정도의 가격대로 맛있고 깔끔한 식당을 가장 선호하는 것으로 조사되었다. 따라서, 현재 운영중인 학생식당이 모두 1,800원의 단일 식단가로 운영되고 있는 점을 감안하여 학생식당을 신설할 경우에는 이동하는데 10분 이상 소요되지 않는 장소에 가격대는 현재보다 더 높은 2,000-2,500원의 가격대에서 맛있고 깔끔한 현재와는 차별화 된 일품메뉴 위주의 식단의 학생식당을 신설하는 것이 바람직할 것으로 사료된다.

Effective Design Pattern and Enterprise Architecture Design Techniques in EJB Environment (EJB기반의 효율적인 설계 패턴 및 엔터프라이즈 아키텍처 설계 기법)

  • In industry, it is a current trend that systems are developed by using Enterprise JavaBeans(EJB) technology for reducing the cost and the time. Thus, the architecture of EJB is getting more essential to enhance reusability, extensibility and portability of system. However little has been studied in the realm of the practical software architectures for EJB. The architecture has just bean studied in abstract level, but not in concrete level providing the method to substantiate it using the practical J2EE techniques. Just using the EJB technology doesn't guarantee the reusability of the artifacts because EJB specification provides the characteristics and architecture for only fine grained components as session and entity bean. In this paper, we propose the enterprise software architecture for the systems based on EJB and the concrete techniques for implementing that. Also, design patterns of modeling efficient enterprise architecture are represented. By analyzing both the strengths and the weaknesses of suggested design patterns, EJB design patterns which are suitable for each layer of enterprise architecture will be identified. Through the component which design patterns are applied, the architecture can support the optimized relationship between the components. Five techniques for designing components from fine grained to coarse grained based on EJB technology, and architecture design techniques including transaction and assembling techniques are proposed.

Influence of Housing Market Changes on Construction Company Insolvency (주택시장 변화가 규모별 건설업체 부실화에 미치는 영향 분석)

  • The construction industry has strong ties with other industries, and so construction company insolvency also has a strong influence on other industries. Prediction models addressing the insolvency of construction company have been well studied. Although factors contributing to insolvency must precede those of predictions of insolvency, studies on these contributing factors are limited. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of changes in the housing market on construction company insolvency by using the Vector Error Correction Model. Construction companies were divided into two groups, and the expected default frequency(EDF), which indicates insolvency of each company was measured through the KMV model. The results verified that 10 largest construction companies were in a better financial condition compared to relatively smaller construction companies. As a result of conducting impulse response analysis, the EDF of large companies was found to be more sensitive to housing market change than that of small- and medium-sized construction companies.
