부식효과를 고려한 선체구조 검사계획안의 최적화 (Optimization for Inspecdtion Planning of Ship Structures Considering Corrosion Effects)

  • 선체구조는 많은 수의 구조부재로 이루어져 있으며, 구조물의 안정성을 확보하기 위해 모든 부위의 검사를 위해서는 경제적, 사회적인 많은 비용이 필요하므로, 검사시기 및 검사방법의 최적화는 선체구조의 안정성확보 및 경제적 관점에서 매우 중요한 부분이 되고 있다. 선체구조 손상중 많은 부분이 균열이며 이러한 미세한 균열이 성장하여 대규모 파괴로 진전되기 전에 검사를 통하여 균열을 검출하고 수리하는 과정을 Markov 연쇄모델에 의해 이상화 시켰으며, 검사 계획안의 최적화는 유전적 알고리즘을 통하여 구현하였다. 특히 선박은 부식환경하에서 운항하므로 부식에 의한 선체구조부재의 치수가 감소하기 때문에 응력이 변하고 균열진전의 확률적인 특성 또한 변한다. 정상 Markov 연쇄모델로서는 이러한 부식에 의한 영향을 고려할수 없기 때문에 비정상 Markov 연쇄모델에 의해 부식의 영향을 고려하였다. 여러개의 부재군에 대한 검사 계획안의 최적화에 대하여 수치계산을 실시하여 그 특성을 비교하였고, 부식영향하의 부재군에 대하여 검사기간중에 발생되는 고정비용의 정도에 따른 경제성 분석 및 목표 파괴확률의 정도에 따른 검사계획의 차이를 살펴보았다. 수치계산 예를 통하여 전체비용을 줄이기 위해서는 피로수명이 짧은 부재군에 대한 피로수명을 향상시키는 방안이 가장 효율적임을 알 수 있다.

A106 GrB강 용접부의 염수중 부식피로특성 (Corrosion Fatigue Characteristics of A106-GrB Steel Weldments in NaC1 solution)

  • The horizontal corrosion fatigue tester has been developed for investigating environmental strength. Using this tester, we investigated about corrosion fatigue caracteristics for A106-Gr B steel weldments in 3.5% synthetic seawater and room temperature. Considered parameter is only frequency of 1, 3 and 5Hz.. and Corrosion fatigue crack length was measured by DC potential difference method. From the results, we could find that the horizontal corrosion fatigue tester could be well applied to estimation of fatigue strength. and, In case of 5Hz., corrosion fatigue crack growth pate of A106-Gr B steel weldment was transgranular, and of 1 and 3Hz. showed that transgranular and interfranular was mixed. Also, Material constants of corrosion fatigue crack growth estimated in each frequency were C=9.33$\times$$10^{-9}$ and m=2.93 in 1Hz., C=9.77$\times$$10^{-10}$ and m=3.47 in 3Hz., C=1.02$\times$$10^{-10}$ and m=4.05 in 5Hz

12Cr합금강의 부식열화에 의한 피로파괴 특성 (Fatigue Fracture Characteristics by Corrosion Degradation of 12Cr Alloy Steel)

  • In order to investigate the fatigue fracture characteristics by corrosion degradation of 12Cr alloy steel, both the fatigue characteristics in air of them artificially degraded during long period and the corrosion fatigue characteristics were experimentally evaluated in various environments which were determined from electro-chemical polarization tests. And also, their fracture mechanisms were analyzed and compared, fractographyically. From their results, the fracture mechanical characteristics of it artificially degraded during long period in the distilled water, 3.5 wt.% NaCl solution and 12.7wt.%(1M) Na$_2$SO$_4$solution of 25, 60 and 90$\^{C}$ did not show distinguishable difference comparing with non-corroded one in regardless of temperature and degradation period. It means that degradation of the material by just surface corrosion does not remarkably affect to fatigue crack growth. On the other hand, the crack growth rates by corrosion fatigue increased due to activity increase of corrosive factors such as OH(sub)-,Cl(sup)- and SO$_4$(sup)- at the crack tip with temperature increase. Therefore, the crack growth rates by corrosion fatigue were more faster than that in air of the artificially degraded specimen due to the such difference of crack growth mechanism.

  • 본 연구에서는 수적법(hand lay up : HLU)을 이용하여 단 섬유포(chopped strand mat : CSM)형태의 유리섬유를 불포화 폴리에스테르 수지에 강화시킨 복합 적층 판을 대상으로 해수중에서 굽힘·피로시험을 실시하여 피로균열 성장거동을 관찰하고 파면관찰을 통하여 GERP의 피로특성을 검토하였다.

  • Fatigue crack growth rates in commercial plate of high strength Al 7075-T651 were investigated for the T-L direction in air, water and sea water. In this paper the effect of cyclic load wave-form(trapezoid and triangle) on fatigue crack growth rates in air, water and sea water environments were investigated using standard LEFM testing procedures. It was founded that the fatigue crack growth behaviors were not affected by cyclic load wave-forms. In region II (stable crack growth region), the fatigue crack growth behaviors were insensitive to cyclic load wave-forms and were sensitive to environment i.e. fatigue crack growth behaviors were higher in sea water than in air for all cyclic load wave-form. The result of fractographical morphology in air, water and sea water by SEM showed obvious dimple rupture and typical striation in air, but transgranular fracture surface in water and sea water. The values m are not affected by corrosion environments but C are different values.

  • Fatigue crack growth rates(i.e. crack initiation and crack growth of short and long crack) are investigated using commercial plates of high strength Al alloy 7075-T651 for the transverse-longitudinal(T-L) direction in air, water and sea water. Also, the evaluation direct current potential drop(D.C.P.D) method and the fractographical analysis by SEM are carried out. Near threshold region, short crack growth rates were much faster than those of comparable long cracks, and these short crack growth rates actually decrease with increasing crack growth and eventually merge with long crack data. Fatigue crack propagation rates in aggressive media(i.e. sea water) increase noticeably over three times those in air. One of the most significant characters in this phenomenon as a corrosion-fatigue causes an acceleration in crack growth rates. Sea water environment, particularly Cl$^{[-10]}$ solution brings the most detrimental effects to aluminum alloy. The result of fractographical morphology in air, water and sea water by SEM shows obvious dimpled rupture and typical striation in air, but transgranular fracture surface in water and sea water.

  • 원자력발전소의 배관에 대하여 행하는 검사는 배관의 구조건전성에 큰 영향을 미친다. 그러나 검사에는 많은 인력과 비용이 소요되므로 검사의 영향을 평가하여 최적의 검사주기와 검사품질을 결정하는 것이 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 원자력발전소 배관의 파손확률을 평가할 수 있도록 개발된 P-PIE 프로그램을 사용하여 검사의 유무, 검사주기 및 검사품질 등이 배관의 파손확률에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 국내 원전의 배관 데이터를 사용하여 해석하였으며, 피로 및 부식에 의한 균열성장을 고려하였다.
