Guest Movement Detection and Analysis System for Integrated Event Venue Operation Management (통합적 행사장 운영을 위한 관람객 동선감지 분석 시스템)

  • The operation method of offline venues such as local festivals usually has problems such as the absence of real-time events and booth information, wasting time in the process of purchasing and receiving goods, and stagnating the movement of guests. This study increases the convenience of guests and managers by integrating all contents in the venue in the form of booth, thereby increasing the uniformity of event information and the efficiency of booth operation. In addition, a system was designed to minimize movement problems and improve performance by detecting the movement of guests within the venue and increasing the efficiency of arranging booths based on location data. It has been developed as a low-cost system that measures wireless packets with portable wireless LAN APs and control units. This has advantages in the operation of the venue, which consists of the installation and dismantling of variable booths in a short period of time. It is expected that the integrated operation of the venue will be utilized by linking the movement data of guests to activate visits and increase sales through data-based promotions.

A Study on Preference of Smoking Booth Design (흡연 부스 디자인의 선호도 조사 연구)

  • This study aims to suggest improved design for both non-smokers and smokers to minimize inconvenience of smoke, at the same time, allow smoking in comfortable environment. The study was researched in three categories: First, consciousness research regarding smoking booth, second, preference research regarding product design, and third, research on emotional words about smoking booth by emotion evaluation. The result of design preference research was, first of all, smoking booth for smokers should be designed in both notable and familiar shape rather than stiff and rough shape. Second, color for the booth should apply warm colors such as white, pastel, and bright tone rather than prime colors. Third, the internal circulation filter in smoking booth should be managed thoroughly. In addition, extra seats and ventilation design is necessary to prevent passive smoking. The result of emotion evaluation was that people recognized certain words in four aspects. Each image word for factor 1 was "functional emotion', factor 2 was "psychological emotion", factor 3 as "color emotion", and factor 4 as "shape emotion". User-centered service design is necessary for both smokers and non-smokers, to minimize the damage by smoke and to spend time for short break.

  • 배전선로에 전력을 공급하는 방식은 일반적으로 22.9kV급 XLPE 케이블에 의한 전력공급이 주를 이루어 왔다. 한편으로 대규모 전력을 소비하는 공장 및 고층 빌딩의 전력 공급에 있어서는 일반적으로 각각 부하로의 많은 회선수의 케이블 포설을 요하는 전력케이블 보다는, 한 선로로 보다 많은 대전류를 수송하면서 부하 가까이에서 필요한 전류를 간편하게 분기해 공급받는 부스덕트 시스템이 시공 및 배전선로 관리의 간편성에 의해 점차 용도가 늘어나고 있다. 부스닥트 시스템의 대부분은 일단 시설물이 건축될 때 건축물의 상부 공간 또는 설비가 위치한 하부 바닥 구간을 통해 설치된 이후, 기타 배관, 가스관 등의 추가적인 건축 구조물과 함께 설치되어 이후 선로의 보수 진단 등이 대부분 어렵게 되어진다. 본 논문에서 소개하는 부스덕트의 온도감시 시스템은 아무리 복잡하고 협소한 설치 환경이라도 특수한 포설 공법에 의해 광화이버를 포설하고, 이를 활용하여 실시간으로 부스덕트 선로의 표면온도와 주변온도를 상시 감시함으로써, 효율적인 부스덕트 선로의 활용뿐만 아니라 과열에 의한 절연사고를 미연 방지하는 운전신뢰성과 안정성을 높이는 것이 가능하게 되었다.

Analyzing the User Intention of Booth Recommender System in Smart Exhibition Environment (스마트 전시환경에서 부스 추천시스템의 사용자 의도에 관한 조사연구)

  • Exhibitions have played a key role of effective marketing activity which directly informs services and products to current and potential customers. Through participating in exhibitions, exhibitors have got the opportunity to make face-to-face contact so that they can secure the market share and improve their corporate images. According to this economic importance of exhibitions, show organizers try to adopt a new IT technology for improving their performance, and researchers have also studied services which can improve the satisfaction of visitors through analyzing visit patterns of visitors. Especially, as smart technologies make them monitor activities of visitors in real-time, they have considered booth recommender systems which infer preference of visitors and recommender proper service to them like on-line environment. However, while there are many studies which can improve their performance in the side of new technological development, they have not considered the choice factor of visitors for booth recommender systems. That is, studies for factors which can influence the development direction and effective diffusion of these systems are insufficient. Most of prior studies for the acceptance of new technologies and the continuous intention of use have adopted Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and Extended Technology Acceptance Model (ETAM). Booth recommender systems may not be new technology because they are similar with commercial recommender systems such as book recommender systems, in the smart exhibition environment, they can be considered new technology. However, for considering the smart exhibition environment beyond TAM, measurements for the intention of reuse should focus on how booth recommender systems can provide correct information to visitors. In this study, through literature reviews, we draw factors which can influence the satisfaction and reuse intention of visitors for booth recommender systems, and design a model to forecast adaptation of visitors for booth recommendation in the exhibition environment. For these purposes, we conduct a survey for visitors who attended DMC Culture Open in November 2011 and experienced booth recommender systems using own smart phone, and examine hypothesis by regression analysis. As a result, factors which can influence the satisfaction of visitors for booth recommender systems are the effectiveness, perceived ease of use, argument quality, serendipity, and so on. Moreover, the satisfaction for booth recommender systems has a positive relationship with the development of reuse intention. For these results, we have some insights for booth recommender systems in the smart exhibition environment. First, this study gives shape to important factors which are considered when they establish strategies which induce visitors to consistently use booth recommender systems. Recently, although show organizers try to improve their performances using new IT technologies, their visitors have not felt the satisfaction from these efforts. At this point, this study can help them to provide services which can improve the satisfaction of visitors and make them last relationship with visitors. On the other hands, this study suggests that they managers along the using time of booth recommender systems. For example, in the early stage of the adoption, they should focus on the argument quality, perceived ease of use, and serendipity, so that improve the acceptance of booth recommender systems. After these stages, they should bridge the differences between expectation and perception for booth recommender systems, and lead continuous uses of visitors. However, this study has some limitations. We only use four factors which can influence the satisfaction of visitors. Therefore, we should development our model to consider important additional factors. And the exhibition in our experiments has small number of booths so that visitors may not need to booth recommender systems. In the future study, we will conduct experiments in the exhibition environment which has a larger scale.

  • This research introduces a case of NFC (Near Field Communication)-based exhibition support system for analyzing visitors' POB (Point of Behavior) data gathered from the system. The application of NFC technology to an exhibition space allows visitors new experiences of exposition and exhibitors to collect and analyze data about behaviors of visitors. The NFC-based exhibition support system is applied to the 'Korea Travel Expo 2013.' The visitors' behaviors are analyzed based on collected NFC tag touch data and association rules among booths are extracted. Furthermore, the tag touch data are integrated with the survey data for catching the demographics-based implications.

  • '2010 대한민국 녹색에너지대전'이 지식경제부 주최, 에너지관리공단 주관으로 지난 10월 13일부터 16일까지 4일간 서울 삼성동 코엑스홀에서 개최되었다. 올해로 30번째를 맞이한 대한민국 녹색에너지대전은 그 어느 해보다 의미가 크다고 할 수 있다. 30년이라는 긴 역사에 걸맞게 LG전자 현대중공업 삼성중공업 OCI 효성 등 대한민국을 대표하는 에너지 관련 기업들이 대거 참여하였고, 정부가 2010년까지 온실가스 배출전망량(BAU) 대비 30% 감축하겠다는 목표를 제시함은 물론 그에 맞춰 에너지온실가스 목표관리제가 도입돼 에너지 절약에 대한 관심이 그 어느 때보다 높기 때문이다. 더욱이 올해 처음 개최되는 신재생에너지대전이 함께 열리면서 참가기업이 251개, 총 1,008개 부스로 확대되었고, 에너지 효율 향상에 관한 대표적 프로젝트로 성장하고 있는 ESCO 산업 특별 테마관이 마련되기도 하였다. ESCO 산업 특별 테마관은 국내 ESCO 업체인 삼성에버랜드 LIG엔설팅 금호이엔지 에너지솔루션즈 지멘스 테크윈 등이 직접 참여하여 최신 기술과 정보를 전달하고 관련 상담을 진행하였다. 또한 최근 각광을 받고 있는 LED 고효율 조명관을 특별 조성해 국가 경제의 차세대 성장동력인 친환경 조명기술을 선보이기도 했다.

2006 에너지전시회 개최

  • 산업자원부가 주최하고 에너지관리공단이 주관하는 국내 최대의 에너지관련 행사인 '2006년 에너지전시회'가 지난 9월 26~30일 서울 코엑스 1층 태평양홀에서 성황리에 개최됐다. 올해 에너지전시회에는 역대 최대인 국내외 총 200개 업체가 참석, 600여개의 부스를 통하여 저마다의 기술을 뽐내고 국내 에너지절약사업이 이미 세계 수준에 근접했음을 널리 알렸다. 고유가 장기화와 기술별화협약에 대응한 '국내외 고효율제품. 기술교류 및 판매촉진의 장'으로 구성된 이번 전시회는 제품의 특징별로 설비부품 및 자재관, 연료 및 열사용기기관, 전기사용기기관, 신재생에너지관, 기술공공관 등 5개관으로 구성돼 이용자의 호응을 얻었다. 이번 전시회에서 '설비부품 및 자제관'을 최초 설치해 단열자재, 설비자재, 고효율모터 등 에너지설비에 사용하는 1차 제어 및 제어 계측시스템 등이 별로도 전시됐다는 것에 주목 할 만 하다. 이는 설비업계가 에너지산업에서 차지하는 위상이 그만큼 높아졌다는 것을 단적으로 보여준 것이다. 이번 전시회에서 주목할 만한 설비제품을 소개한다.

  • '2009 대한민국 녹색에너지대전'이 지식경제부 주최, 에너지관리공단 주관으로 지난 10월 13일 서울 삼성동 코엑스(A홀 옛 태평양홀)에서 개최되었다. 올해로 제29회를 맞이한 대한민국 녹색에너지대전은 중국 호주 독일 일본 등 총 12개국에서 145개 업체가 참여하여 국내외 고효율 기기 및 최신 에너지 절감 기술, 신재생 에너지 설비 등을 한자리에 선보였다. 올해에는 '신재생에너지관' 등 4개의 대주제관과 'LED 고효율 조명관' 등 국가 신성장동력을 상징하는 4개의 특별테마관을 중심으로 총 587개 부스 규모로 구성됐다. 특히 이번 전시회에는 정부가 강력히 추진하는 녹색성장정책에 관심이 고조되면서 LG전자, 삼성전자를 비롯해 효성, 현대중공업, LS산전 등 대기업이 대거 참가, 에너지효율 및 온실가스 저감 관련 최신 기술을 선보였다. 이번 전시회에서는 효과적인 에너지절약 방법을 찾는 관람객들과 국내외 최신 에너지 기술 도입을 원하는 산업체 임직원, 신재생에너지 및 기후변화대응 분야 신규 사업에 관심 있는 투자자 등 전시장을 찾는 모두에게 유익한 정보를 제공하는 뜻깊은 국제적인 행사가 되었다.

  • The development of information technology provides us with more useful information but it arose to protect such information from inappropriate users. In the course of analyzing and managing the risks associated with information, it should be needed to accurately measure the value of information. We try to consider the contingent valuation method for this purpose. The contingent valuation method which is used to assess the value of public goods or nonmarket goods makes an statistical estimation for the willingness-to-pay. We show with an example how we can estimate the value of information by calculating the amount we are willing to pay the value of information that exists on the information system. Calculation is carried out by using R.

  • This paper shows a u-Health management system in user's Life environment, which is different from previous ones by enterprises. It's designed for users(citizens) and service provider(especially providing medical service). This paper is discussing on the proof on the service model being operated near the Tancheon stream in the city of Sung-nam. To maximize users' satisfaction, this service has been designed on four disciplines(so easy, so simple, well-customized, funny feedback) in the viewpoint for users. Its algorithm has 4 levels which are measurement, prescription, monitoring and feedback. In the system. there are HCBs(health check boothes) checking out status and assessment of users, customized health prescription customized a health management service prescription engine, exercise programs customized on exercise equipments near the stream and monitoring system.
