2014년 8월 25일 시간당 130mm 이상의 폭우로 인하여 부산시 중구를 제외한 부산 전역에 걸쳐 인명 및 막대한 재산피해가 발생하였다. 이는 부산광역시의 지형특성상 고지대에 주택 등이 조밀하게 개발되어 불투수층의 증가 및 배수처리의 한계로 침수지역이 다량 발생하였고, 절개지 및 옹벽 등이 많은 지역, 소하천 및 산업단지 조성 후 지반이 약화된 지역 등에서 주로 피해가 발생하였다. 따라서 부산지역에서 도시홍수로 인한 막대한 피해를 입은 기장군과 부산광역시 일부 유역에 대하여 홍수 예보 시설을 설치 운영하기 위하여 체계적이고 효율적인 재해관리 방안을 마련하고자 하였다. 재난취약지역으로 선정된 기장군 일대와 부산광역시 일대의 총 10개 지점(14개소)에 대하여 현장 조사를 실시하여 수위관측시스템 설치를 위한 적절 지점을 선정하였으며, 이를 바탕으로 각 지점에 대하여 수리모형(HEC-RAS)을 구축하였다. 수리모형에서 산출된 결과를 바탕으로 도시 하천의 현실에 맞는 홍수 예 경보 발령을 위한 각 각의 4단계 기준수위(둔치위험 수위, 주의보 수위, 경보 수위, 하천범람 위험 수위)를 산정하였다. 그리고 각 지점별로 산정된 단계별 기준 수위를 이용하여 재난취약지역으로 선정된 기장군 6개 지점과 부산광역시 4개 지점에 대하여 "홍수 예 경보 발령을 위한 기준 수위 산정 결과"를 도출하였고, 위 결과를 바탕으로 부산광역시에 홍수 예 경보 발령을 위한 시스템을 구축하여 도심 재난 예방에 활용하도록 하였다. 또한 위 지점에 대하여 지속적인 하천 정비 등의 사후 관리 방안을 제시하였으며, 향후 부산광역시의 다른 재난취약지역에 대하여 보다 개선된 홍수 예 경보 시스템을 구축하여 현재 국가하천에 대하여 시행되고 있는 홍수 예보와 같은 재난 예방 시설의 구축과 국민의 생명과 재산을 보호할 수 있는 체계적인 대응 방안 마련에 기여하고자 하였다.

The newly adopted Korea Geodetic Datum (a.k.a. KGD2002) calls for massive reengineering work on geospatial dataset. The main focus of our study is placed on the strategy and system implementations of the required data reengineering with a keen attention to integrated approaches to interoperability, standardization, and database utilization. Our reengineering strategy includes file-to-file, file-to-DB, DB-to-file, and DB-to-DB conversion for the coordinate transformation of KGD2002. In addition to the map formats of existing standards such as DXF and Shapefile, the newly recommended standards such as GML and SVG are also accommodated in our reengineering environment. These four types of standard format may be imported into and exported from spatial database via KGD2002 transformation component. The DB-to-DB conversion, in particular, includes not only intra-database conversion but also inter-database conversion between SDE/Oracle and Oracle Spatial. All these implementations were carried out in multiple computing environments: desktop and the Web. The feasibility test of our system shows that the coordinate differences between Bessel and GRS80 ellipsoid agree with the criteria presented in the existing researches.

국내 대표 해양도시인 부산시는 도시의 이미지를 향상시키고 경쟁력을 갖추기 위해 북항재개발지역과 원도심지역을 연계한 복합형 재생사업을 추진하고 있다. 부산남항은 북항과 원도심지역에 맞닿아있지만 고유의 특성이 고려되지 못하고 복합형 재생사업에 종속된 개발 압력을 받아왔다. 최근 해양관광벨트 형성에 있어 부산남항의 입지적 중요성과 북항·원도심지역과의 연계 필요성이 대두되며 부산남항을 대상으로 다양한 개발계획이 수립되고 있다. 항만재개발사업의 경우 대규모 SOC사업으로 추진과정에서 이해관계자 간의 갈등, 재정 문제 등의 여러 문제가 야기되는데 이러한 문제를 해결하지 못하면 사업이 표류 될 가능성이 크다. 따라서 본 연구는 부산남항 재창조를 위해 필수적인 항만재개발사업의 원활한 진행을 위한 추진전략과 민간참여방안을 제시하였다.

본 연구는 부산 해안지역에서 친수공간벨트를 계획하기 위해 친수공간벨트 및 이에 관련된 친수공간클러스터의 개념을 제시하고 개별 친수공간들을 워터프런트 그린웨이를 통해 체계적으로 연결시켜 친수공간벨트를 계획하는 방안을 제시하며 부산 해운대구 해안지역을 대상으로 구체적인 적용사례를 제시한다.

"니 내랑 부산접수 할래?" 영화 친구2에 나오는 대사다. 영화 속 주인공이 힘으로 부산을 장악하려 했다면 디자인글꼴은 '귀여운 캐릭터'와 '짱짱한 인쇄빨'로 부산을 접수했다. 디자인글꼴(대표 서무성)은 우리나라 제2의 도시 부산에서 독자 개발한 브랜드와 캐릭터로 성장한 디자인전문회사다. 최근에는 부산 지역 최초로 고모리 H-UV 인쇄기 GL-540을 도입하는 등 잇따라 최신 인쇄 설비를 도입하면서 부산 경남지역 최대 '디자인 인쇄전문회사'로 우뚝 섰다.

This paper is to research the present conditions and characteristics of the machinery and metal industries in Busan region from industrial cluster and network point of view. The result of this study is as follows. First, a independent machinery and metal industrial cluster has been shaped in Busan region although it is not so large. Second, the technological level and the competitiveness of the machinery and metal industries in Busan region is still low. The companies in Busan area are interacted by local network with low-tech and low competitiveness. Third, we need to invite the technological leading companies to Busan region for this industrial cluster's technological competitiveness is raised.

부산지역 청소년 음성의 지속시간, 피치주파수 포만트 주파수 특성을 연령별, 성별로 분석하였다. 실제 발음 환경에서의 음성 패턴은 발성화자 개인 및 화자별로 다양하게 변화한다. 이를 모델 화하기 위해서는 다량의 음성 데이터로부터 통계적 방법에 의한 변화 요인별 파라미터 분석이 선행되어야 할 것이다. 실험에 사용된 데이터는 부산지역에 거주하는 청소년(초등학생, 중학생, 고등학생)들이 연령별로 3회 발성한 우화의 일부와 단모음(/아/,/이/,/우/,/에/,/오/)이다 실험 결과로부터 얻어진 지속시간, 주파수 특성 변화 패턴을 연령별, 성별로 구분하여 통계적으로 분석한 뒤 이를 정량화 하였다. 실험 결과로부터 부산 지역 청소년 음성의 지속시간, 주파수 특성은 예측된 바와 같이 기 연구된 성인 음성과 많은 차이를 보였으며 이는 부산 지역 방언의 DB 구축 시 설계자가 고려해야 할 기초자료로 활용 될 수 있을 것이다.

This study conducted t-test and ANOVA analysis, influence of importance-satisfaction, regression analysis to local food and restaurants to the purchase intention in Busan. The subjects of this study were tourists who visited local restaurants in Busan, and the final 392 copies were used for empirical analysis. As a result of the study, first, there will be a significant difference in the recognition of local foods in Busan according to the visitor's region. In all samples, the recognition was high in the order of pork stock, wheat noodle, sauteed·fired soft eel, grilled·ell sashmi. On the other hand, sansung bulgogi, Dongrae pajeon, and sansung makkŏlli were the lowest. Second, in the difference between importance and satisfaction of local restaurants in Busan, 'there is a different taste compared to other regions' showed high satisfaction and importance. Third, In the relationship between the awareness of local restaurants in Busan and the purchase intention, it was found to be effective in service, facilities, prices and locality and cleanliness were rejected.

Being one of the municipality belonging to a large metropolitan city, there are areas with a special environment of rural characteristics that are different from general urban areas. Gijang-gun of Busan Metropolitan City is a good example. Although it maintains the highest level of the number of patrons per public library and the number of books per capita in Busan, and is also promoting various projects to strengthen the knowledge and cultural competitiveness, in Gijang-gun, a Complex Area where rural and urban areas coexist, most of the resources are concentrated in urban areas, and cultural facilities that provide public services are lacking in relatively few rural areas. In this regard, this research strives to enhance the vision and strategy of the Gijang-gun's public libraries, reflecting the characteristics and needs of the patrons as viewed through their urban-rural complex environment.

미세먼지 등 대기오염에 대한 국민적 관심 증가로 정부에서는 2022년까지 국내 배출량 30% 감축을 목표로 하는 '미세먼지 관리 종합대책'을 수립(2017년)하였으며, 국제해사기구(IMO)는 선박의 대기오염물질 배출량 감소를 위한 규정을 강화는 등 대기오염물질 감축을 위한 다양한 노력이 추진되고 있다. 그러나, 부산항을 포함한 부산지역의 미세먼지 농도는 선진국 및 WHO 기준에 비해 여전히 2~3배 높은 수준으로 부산의 주요산업인 부산항을 관리 운영하는 주체인 부산항만공사는 '부산항 미세먼지 종합대책'을 수립하여 추진하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 부산항 내 운영 중인 항만 내 대기오염측정소 데이터를 포함한 항만 인근지역과 타항만의 미세먼지 농도를 분석하였으며, 부산항만공사에서 추진한 항만 하역장비 대기오염물질 배출량 조사결과와 '야드트랙터 LNG 연료전환사업', 'AMP설비 설치사업' 등 '부산항 미세먼지 종합대책'과 그 성과를 소개하고 있다.
