부산 시청사 현상설계 공모결과 일신종합건축이 당선작으로 선정되었다. 총16개 작품이 응모한 이번 현상공모에는 당선작 외에 부림 건축+동일건축 안이 우수작으로 선정 되었으며,신도시건축안과 세진 건축안이 가작으로 선정되었다. 당선작으로 선정된 일신 건축안은 건물의 상징성이 부각된 건물로 오픈스페이스가 많이 확보되어 이상적이고, 배치 및 동선계획이 적절히 계획되었으며, 전면의 여유 있는 공간을 확보 건물의 친근감을 주도록 계획되었다. 청사는 93년에 착공하여 96년 말까지 공사를 끝내고 시청 및 시의회, 경찰청 등이 들어서게 된다. 본지에서는 당선작과 우수작1점, 가작2점을 게재코자 한다.

Recently, public libraries as complex cultural spaces are becoming a trend, and public libraries as complex facilities that are built in one building or one site are being highlighted. This can be seen as part of a policy to expand public libraries as part of the government's Living SOC project. The establishment of libraries in government office is also included in this movement. Therefore, this study presented excellent cases by investigating the current state of government office in Korea and investigated citizens' perception on the establishment of public libraries in Busan Metropolitan City Hall. Based on this, a basic plan for the operation of public libraries in Busan Metropolitan City Hall, including basic directions, organization and manpower, collection development, and service programs (including specialization program), was proposed.

The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of watching TV on employees' stress and communication levels. We developed a 30 minutes-long TV watching program for this study. Participating employees were asked to watch the 30 minutes-long TV programs during their lunch hours for 20 weeks. The stress and communication levels were measured before and after the experiment. The results show that in general, both the average stress level and communication level were statically significantly improved for all the participated employees except those in the 20s. The biggest improvement in stress and communication levels was made in those in the 30s. In sum, the 'Watching TV programs' had a positive impact on the reduction of stress and the increase of communication abilities for the employees. This is believed to be the first employer initiated attempt in Korea to tackle employees' stress and communication problems with the implementation of the TV watching program concept.

지난해 저탄소 녹색성장에 따른 국가정책의 일환으로 공공기관 에너지 절약 추진 지침서가 발표되었다. 지침서에는 에너지절약, 에너지이용효율 향상, 신재생에너지 보급 촉진 등에 솔선수범함으로써 범국민적 에너지절약 의식 확산 및 기후변화대응 등 에너지이용합리화를 목적으로 한다는 내용이 담겨 있다. 이에 따라 공공기관에서는 에너지절감과 관련한 기술을 도입하고, 또 선보이고 있는 것. 그 중 지난해 '지방자치단체 청사 에너지절약 평가'에서 우수기관으로 선정된 목포시청사와 신재생에너지를 도입한 부산대학교의 에너지 절감 사례를 살펴본다.

The Municipal Building of Busan was the first western-style building of Korea in 1879. It was also the predecessor of Busan Metropolitan City Hall. On the other hand, the Municipal Building of Busan was a symbolic structure that shows the history of Busan. The Municipal Building of Busan has inherited the construction location and site, including the speciality of Choryangwaegwan, and is a good example of the process of inheriting the authority of the former space through the appropriation of the building. The Municipal Building of Busan was relocated to the edge of the coast in 1934 because a small and dilapidated building failed to function properly. The relocation of the Municipal Building of Busan in 1934 was the origin of changing the coastal space in downtown. As a result, landfill sites along the coast were in the limelight and developed into the downtown area of Busan after Korea's liberation.

2000년대에 들어오면서 우리나라에는 대전, 영월, 김해를 시작으로 많은 시민천문대가 생겨나면서 지방자치단체에서 건립한 시민천문대 외에도 다양한 형태로 시민들이 이용할 수 있는 천문대가 생겨났다. 현재 전국적으로 파악되는 공립, 사립 천문대의 수가 50개를 훨씬 넘으며, 이 가운데 약 절반은 지방자치단체에서 건립한 시민천문대이다. 그러나 이런 시대의 흐름에도 불구하고 인구 350만인 거대도시 부산에는 제대로 된 시민천문대가 아직 없는 실정이다. 수도권의 경우 서울시청을 기준으로 접근거리 150km이내의 시민천문대는 최소 15개가 넘으며, 사설 천문대 등을 합하면 이 수치의 2~3배에 달한다. 한국천문학회는 부산시민의 전폭적인 지원에 힘입어 2021년 제 31차 국제천문연맹총회(IAUGA 2021)를 부산으로 유치하는데 성공하였다. 부산시는 과학문화도시로서 시민의 과학대중화 사업, 특히 천문학 관련 교육과 홍보에 심혈을 기울여 왔으며, IAUGA2021의 부산 개최를 맞이하여 세계적인 과학도시로 성장할 계기를 마련하게 되었다. 21세계 우주시대를 살아가는 선진 시민으로서 350만 부산 시민의 우주에 대한 호기심을 충족시켜주며 청소년에게 현대적인 우주관을 교육할 수 있는 시민천문대의 건립을 제안한다. 구경 1m 급 주망원경을 갖춘 천문돔, 다수의 보조망원경을 갖춘 관측실, 천체투영관, 강의동 등으로 구성될 부산 시민천문대는 부산뿐만 아니라 과학문화가 상대적으로 낙후된 동남권 지역의 천문학 교육을 위한 중추적인 과학문화시설이 될 것으로 기대한다.

이 대담 시리즈는 학교도서관에 대한 도서관계 안팎의 관심을 높이고 현단계 학교도서관 운동이 나아갈 길을 모색해보려는 취지에서 시도된 것이다. 과거 학교도서관 운동을 주도하였거나 오랫동안 학교도서관 현장을 지켜온 인물들을 찾아 그들의 경험과 의식 속에 쌓여 있는 역사를 끌어내어 오늘을 비추어 보고 내일을 전망하는 계기로 삼을 것이다. 이번 대담에서 만난 사람은 우리 나라 학교도서관 운동의 초창기에 많은 활동을 한 조재후 선생이다. 선생은 부산중, 경남여고, 부산고 등에서 10년간 (1953-1963) 사서교사로 활동하면서 학교도서관 운동의 지평을 넓히는데 크게 기여하였으며 부산시 교육위원회 연구사 및 장학사(1963-1972), 문교부 중앙 시청 각교육원 연구관(1972-1973), 문교부 장학관 (1973-1975), 서울시 동부 교육구청장(1980-1982) 등으로 활동하셨다. 또한 영등포중, 혜화여고, 용산공고, 경기상고 등에서 교장으로 재직하시고 정년퇴임후 현재 서울 정화여자상업고등학교 교장으로 재직하고 계신다. 대담 일시 : 1998년 5월 2일 오전9시 30분 - 오전 11시 30분 대담 장소 : 서울 정화여상 교장실

To examine the locality of Busan is a precondition of examining documenting localities of Busan. What is the locality of Busan and how can I explore the locality of Busan? These are the research questions of this thesis. Memory is fundamental in making an identity. So local memory is fundamental in making locality. Understanding relations between memory and identity, the author explored the locality of Busan by analyzing memories of Busan. To analyze memories of Busan is to examine historical figures of Busan and Cultural Properties of Busan which are on the website of Busan metropolitan city. The results are as follows : According to the analysis of historical figures of Busan, there are no confucius scholars who came from Busan. However in the age of civilization, Busan has produced some talented people by way of receiving a modern education. According to the analysis of Cultural Properties of Busan, Jung-gu(中區) and Seo-gu(西區) and Yeongdo-gu(影島區) are the spaces of migration. Dongnae-gu(東萊區), Suyeong-gu(水營區) and Saha-gu(沙下區) and Gijang-gun(機張郡) are the spaces of settlement. Dong-gu(東區) has changed from a space of settlement into a space of migration with the opening of the Busan Port as a momentum in 1876.

제주지역 중학교 학생들의 환경문제 및 환경교육에 대한 인식 및 실태를 파악하고자 하였다. 전국 중학교 환경교과 선택현황을 지역별로 비교해보면, 부산 55.4%, 충북43.9%, 대구 21.7%, 제주 11.9% 순으로 부산이 가장 높은 선택율을 보였고, 그 외의 지역에서는 환경교과를 선택하는 비율이 모두 10% 이하로 나타났따. 제주도에는 전체 42개(제주시 27, 서귀포 15)의 중학교가 설립 ${\cdot}$ 운영되고 있으며, 그 중 제주시에는 3개교에서만 환경교과를 선택 과목으로 가르키고 있었다. 환경문제에 대한 정보습득 방법으로 전체 응답자의 70.2%가 TV, 라디오, 신문 등 언론 매체에 의해서 습득하였고, 학교교육에 의해서 습득한 경우는 1.5%로 극히 미비하여 학생들이 학교 환경교육보다 언론 매체를 통하여 환경문제를 인식하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 정보추구의식으로 언론매체를 이용한 환경관련 프로그램의 시청 여부를 살펴보면, 보편적으로 여학생이 남학생보다, 그리고 저학년일수록 환경 프로그램을 관심있게 보는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고, 환경문제의 지식정도를 살펴보면, 전체적으로 평균 3.21개의 용어를 설명할 수 있다고 표시하여 대다수의 학생들이 이들 용어들을 모르고 있는 것으로 나타났다.
