  • A software configuration management(SCM) is essential for processing large scale project. The scope of SCM involves each developer's work space management, software building management, and development process control as wet] as version control. In this paper we focus on what parts should be controlled systematically for the optimized software build that is an important part of the SCM. We also analyze that to increase the efficiency of software build, what kind of configuration management information should be reported. Based on the analysis, we have actually designed and implemented a new reporting system and evaluated it. The evaluation includes comparative evaluation in efficiency based on the analysis about the related functions provided by existing tools and some additional qualitative evaluation through the questionnaires from stakeholders.

  • A finer granular scalable (FGS) version of ISO/IEC MPEG-4 video streaming is investigated in this work with the prioritized stream delivery over loss-rate differentiated networks. Our proposed system is focused on the seamless integration of rate adaptation, prioritized packetization, and simplified differentiation for the MPEG-4 FGS video streaming. The proposed system consists of three key components: 1) rate adaptation with scalable source encoding, 2) content-aware prioritized packetization, and 3) loss-based differential forwarding. More specifically, a constant-quality rate adaptation is first achieved by optimally truncating the over-coded FGS stream based on the embedding rate-distortion (R-D) information (obtained from a piecewise linear R-D model). The rate-controlled video stream is then packetized and prioritized according to the loss impact of each packet. Prioritized packets are transmitted over the underlying network, where packets are subject to differentiated dropping and forwarding. By focusing on the end-to-end quality, we establish an effective working conditions for the proposed video streaming and the superior performance is verified by simulated MPEG-4 FGS video streaming.

Feature Subset Selection in the Induction Algorithm using Sensitivity Analysis of Neural Networks (신경망의 민감도 분석을 이용한 귀납적 학습기법의 변수 부분집합 선정)

  • In supervised machine learning, an induction algorithm, which is able to extract rules from data with learning capability, provides a useful tool for data mining. Practical induction algorithms are known to degrade in prediction accuracy and generate complex rules unnecessarily when trained on data containing superfluous features. Thus it needs feature subset selection for better performance of them. In feature subset selection on the induction algorithm, wrapper method is repeatedly run it on the dataset using various feature subsets. But it is impractical to search the whole space exhaustively unless the features are small. This study proposes a heuristic method that uses sensitivity analysis of neural networks to the wrapper method for generating rules with higher possible accuracy. First it gives priority to all features using sensitivity analysis of neural networks. And it uses the wrapper method that searches the ordered feature space. In experiments to three datasets, we show that the suggested method is capable of selecting a feature subset that improves the performance of the induction algorithm within certain iteration.

  • A laser speckle is a random pattern that has a granular appearance produced by reflected light when a coherent laser illuminates an irregular course surface. Laser speckle system has many advantages. It can detect some animals functional parts. Moreover, it relatively consists of simple and in-expensive system. It is very important that detecting micro-vessels through image processed image. Current study is to improve image quality through variable image processing method. But this paper made laser speckle endoscope for miniaturization and commercialization laser speckle system. We had endoscope test through goldfish's tail. We will compare the processed speckle image and halogen image.

  • This paper presents a direct multivariable self-tuning controller using neural network which adapts to the changing parameters of the higher order multivariable nonlinear system with nonminimum phase behavior, mutual interactions and time delays. The nonlinearities are assumed to be globally bounded, and a multivariable nonlinear system is divided linear part and nonlinear part. The neural network is used to estimate the controller parameters, and the control output is obtained through estimated controller parameter. In order to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm the computer simulation is done to adapt the multivariable nonlinear nonminimm phase system with time delays and changed system parameter after a constant time. The proposed method compared with direct multivariable adaptive controller using neural network.

  • 무선인지(RFID)시스템은 많은 산업 분야에 적용되고 있다. 대표적인 예로써 RFID 시스템을 이용한 출입 관제시스템을 들 수 있으며, 이런 경우 기존의 건물에 이 시스템을 설치하려고 하면 출입문을 개조하여야 한다. 하지만 무선 통신을 이용하면, 리더기에서 호스트 컴퓨터로의 접근이 용이해지므로 출입문 개조에 있어서도 한결 수월해진다. 이 때 필요한 것이 무선 디지털 데이터 통신 기술과 원격지에서 Tag의 ID를 모니터링을 위한 TCP/IP를 이용한 Ethernet 통신이다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 시스템의 개발방법에 대해 설명하였으며 RFID 리더기는 125KHz를 사용 주파수로 하고, Tag 칩은 Microchip사의 MCRF 250을 사용하였다. 그리고 무선 데이터 통신을 위해서 CC1020칩을 사용하였으며 이 칩의 장점은 간단히 레지스터를 설정으로 송신 상태 혹은 수신 상태로 변환이 가능하고 또한 주파수 설정도 가능하다는 것이다. 마지막으로 Ethernet 통신을 위해서는 W3100A칩을 이용하였으며, Ethernet 통신에 있어 OS가 차지하는 부분으로 하드웨어를 통해 구현하였다. 실험을 위해 하드웨어를 구성하고 각 모듈별 동작을 분석하고. 각 부분의 파형을 확인하였다. DB에 해당하는 Application을 통해 Tag ID DATA를 확인하였다.

  • Diffusion of information technology such as internet has brought a great influence on modern society and industrial development. Currently wide-spread RFID/USN technology has become a central momentum of this rapid changes for the establishment of ubiquitous society in the future. Historically agricultural products has drawn research interest due to its importance of human life. A standard monitoring system throughout of life cycle of the agricultural products should be developed and careful monitoring process should be introduced. In this paper, by way of case study, current lifetime tracing systems are evaluated and critical drawbacks and issues are also developed. In addition, some implications and guidelines to improve the tracing performance of the products are also suggested.

  • This paper presents process of the UE obtains the cell system information in order to achieve communication with the LTE network on the LTE. This paper deals with the process of extracting MIB(Master Information Block) cell system information in LTE. To study the 3GPP LTE standard spec series 36.200 and 36.300, the simulation is implemented to extract the MIB in MATLAB program. The simulation process is divided into three parts. It consisted of a part that extracts the PSS, SSS and MIB. Called a cell search process for detecting the PSS and SSS, the process is to be done in order to extract only the cell system information. The simulation program is verified based on the signal captured from the real Air.

  • For managing fire safety system in building by ubiquitous management system, the index system to express the performance level of fire protection system is demanded. If some component formed fire protection system such as sprinkler water supply system is breakdown, that will fall down the performance of fire protection capacity. Consequently, it will affects the level of fire safety of building management and energy response. Consequently, Building fire protection system could give performance level of fire protection condition and the level of fire safety in building. It will also contribute to the development of wide area fire safety management. This development of index system has been developed as a part of the development project of Ubiquitous building fire management system.
