A Study on Subjective Recognition of Food-truck Customers Using Q Methodology (Q방법론을 활용한 푸드 트럭 이용고객의 주관적 인식 연구)

  • This study applied Q methodology to consumers who have experience using food trucks to understand subjective perception of food truck customers. The purpose of this study is to characterize the perceptual structure of food truck customers, to describe characteristics of the types and to suggest some implications. The results of the type analysis are as follows. The first type (N = 10): Food truck zone accessibility preferred type, the second type (N = 8): Complex entertainment experience type, the third type (N = 9) = 3): Fast food preference type. Future research on food trucks, restaurants, and tourism will be based on a variety of literature and empirical studies, and will be revised and supplemented with more detailed Q methodological questions and analytical techniques to analyze the various opinions of respondents in a more concrete and objective manner.

Deokhu's culture in adolescent as a play space on Cyber (사이버상의 놀이 공간으로서 청소년의 덕후 문화)

  • The purpose of this study is to explore the essential meaning of Deokhu's culture in adolescent as a play space on Cyber. A phenomenological research method guided data collection and analysis. Qualitative research methods collected from 18 in - depth interviews using semistructured question types for 13 to 17 year - old adolescents living in Seoul Jamsil. As a result, As a result, adolescent's Deokhu culture started by stress and social and emotional desire, and especially it was utilized as a play space on the cyber of purchase activity of fandom and goods around SNS activities. This has a positive effect on self-awareness as well as self-identity formation. Above all, the shortage of play time due to heavy school entrance and the lack of socially provided play space make the cyber space as another play space for the adolescents.

  • Students should be able to find information and resources using the Internet. Also students need to have composite intellectual abilities to select information, convert to knowledge and communicate it to other people. However, most school and classroom homepages provide students with information but not contents that help them produce knowledge. This lowers the rate of connection to homepage. Thus, the purpose of this study is to develop and apply homepage, which helps students make knowledge from comprehended and interpreted information(Knowledge.Sharing Technique; KST). In this study we use 'WIKI KST' and 'Q&A KST' to share knowledge. WIKI KST is 'an encyclopedia that we make,' which means that students upload their prior knowledge or knowledge produced from comprehended and interpreted information and create new knowledge to be added to their own knowledge and others'. As a result, the abilities to comprehend and interpret acquired information are improved and the ability to change implicit knowledge to explicit knowledge is also improved. Students create new knowledge to share their knowledge and, as a result, the rate to connection to homepage gets higher.

Investigating Students' and Teachers' Views on 'the Necessity of Learning Science' by the Network Analysis (계통도 분석법을 통한 초등학생과 초등교사의 '과학학습의 필요성'에 대한 관점 조사)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate students' and teachers' views on the necessity of learning science in Korea. To grade sixth students(n=565) and teachers(n=57) of elementary schools in Seoul, Korea, a question, "Why do we have to learn science?", requiring a short essay of more than 7 lines including the reason and examples was given. From the analysis of short essays with the network analysis, it was found that most students and teachers had views of "we have to learn science to make personal everyday-life easy in aspect of personal usefulness and human everyday-life easy in aspect of social usefulness" with focusing on external value of science and taking examples of everyday-life related. And it was found that students' and teachers' views were somewhat biased toward focusing on external values of science.

  • The paper studies the influencing factors of continuous usage intention for a scenario based cognitive FAQ service regrading on private information protection. The research result finds that three major factors are significantly positive to the continuous usage intention for the service. First, search easiness is an essential factor and it can be improved using sophisticate categorization. Second, Scenario based FAQ service is effective on understanding and solving questioner's situation. Related information is helpful for problem solving. The research shows that the new approach to private information protection area can lead to a more acceptable and reasonable problem solving tool.

  • The main purpose of the study is to explore the implications of Recognition Paradigm for domains of social work, especially focusing on the arguments exchanged between Axel Honneth and Nancy Fraser, two eminent scholars in this field. The Recognition paradigm, which is an alternative perspective in practical philosophy developed to cope with the changing socio-political situations in the late modern society, is providing the domain of social work with a lot of important theoretical and practical implications as well. In particular, Honneth's recognition theory which considers the recognition as a basic prototype in human development and construction of society is able to clarify the fundamental mission and territory the social work profession is to pursue. But for the meanwhile, Fraser's dual perspective of justice, which is an extended version of redistributive justice introducing the recognition component in it, can suggest diverse practical strategies to confront complex injustice-making structures effectively in the later modern society. In spite of these abundant implications in both theoretical and practical areas, the recognition paradigm still save several fundamental considerations for social work, such as the real meaning of the recognition in social work, the exact population from whom social work seek to get recognition, and the adequate strategy, so-called "recognition struggle" which social work is to employ to acquire the recognition.

  • In general, users of design software such as Photoshop, search for information online when they want to obtain related knowledge. However, it is very difficult to find the exact information they want about designs because available knowledge sharing systems are very broad in what they manage, and it is rare that such systems would provide any design-specific Q&A or exchange of information functionality. In the paper we development a video based system for sharing design knowledge that supplies Q&A, lecture, knowledge trade function etc. utilizing multimedia like text, image and video reflecting the characteristics of design knowledge. The system are expected to contribute to the competitiveness of products through sharing design knowledge. In the near future the system will need to expand to a framework that can be shared with a variety of knowledge, as well as design knowledge.

  • This paper is to evaluate the usability of two representative video meeting services currently used by university for research to improve the quality of university remote lecture. questionnaires based on Kano Model were designed and in-depth interviews were conducted to provide qualitative approaches. Screen-sharing functions, the one-dimensional functions was the most important function. and attractive functions had relatively diverse directions. For essential functions, there was a wide gap in quality due to user-specific equipment. The function in which other platforms exist or business-related was not important. Webex reacted negatively to the aging UI, while Zoom responded negatively to the unilateral mute function. In addition, the development direction was presented in five ways as a result of analysis of these results. under Corona-19 situation, I hope this study will lead to continuous research to make stepping stone for remoted educational development.

  • The purpose of this study is to conduct research from qualitative aspects regarding the development of substantive design research for furniture brand and detailed development direction as single household has increased rapidly. In case of research method, the usability evaluation questionnaire was produced based on Honey Comb Model of Peter Morville. As a result, the single-person household including other household show preference for furniture for the one-man households and tend to purchase and use them. Nonetheless, it was found that places for sharing opinion and reselling the furniture are greatly lacking. Therefore, it is required to vitalize community market for the one-man household. And it is expected that this result of research provides useful implication concerning the single household as well as academic significance to offer primary information of furniture brand development-related research.

A Study on the Improvement Plan : Based on the Survey on the Teachers in Church Schools in Korea (한국 교회학교 교사의 실태조사에 따른 개선 방안에 관한 연구)

  • This study aims to suggest the improvement plan for the future church schools and the teachers after examining the reality and the situation of the teachers in church schools in Korea. In order to do this, the study examined the factors of the changes in Christian population in Korea, the factors of reduced number of Christian population and the factors of the reduced number of students in church schools. It also conducted the survey on the teachers in church schools to find the actual problems and situation of them. Based on the result and analysis of the survey, the study will suggest the alternative plans for improvement. The study asked 12 questions of 534 teachers to examine the real situations of the teachers in church schools in Korea and based on the analysis and result of it, the study will suggest a couple of alternatives to the teachers.
