과학기술의 순기능 이외에도 역기능과 함께 복작용이 있슴을 확인하여 과학기술이 만능아라는 사고방식을 경계하여야 한다. 동시에 기존기술을 이용할 때나 새로운 기술을 개발할 때도 우리는 선정신을 기본으로 하여야만 우리 인간을 기술로 부터 보호하고 행복을 얻어낼 수 있다.

This paper examines the protective clothing satisfaction rate of riot policemen. The protective clothing currently in use is the version that underwent enhancement and was distributed in 2009. This version underwent significant enhancements compared to the protective clothing introduced in 1996 in terms of safety and body fitness; however, there is room for further enhancement in terms of activity, thermal comfort and easiness. In this research, a questionnaire survey was conducted on 386 riot policemen working at the Seoul Riot Police Station to study their use of protective clothing and satisfaction rate. The survey questions included safety, activity and body fitness in terms of functionality and comfort as well as easiness and design in terms of wearing comfort. Activity scored the lowest (2.89) in terms of functionality as well as comfort (2.40) that scored the lowest in terms of wearing comfort. It is concluded that, in order to correct deficiencies, the weight of protective clothing must be reduced and design changes must be made to eliminate unnecessary areas in clothing and facilitate faster dressing/undressing. In addition, it is strongly recommended that shock absorption materials be inserted only in vital areas in order to enhance thermal comfort.

최근 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅(Ubiquitous Computing) 환경에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되면서 의료복지, 교통환경, 금융관리 등 다양한 서비스가 제공되고 있다. 유비쿼터스 환경에서 제공되는 다양한 서비스를 위해서는 개인 프라이버시보호를 위한 안전한 지불방식이 요구된다. 기존 지불 프로토콜은 상호 인증을 위해 사용자와 서비스제공자 사이에 개인정보를 전송한다. 이것은 안전성 측면에서 개인 프라이버시 보호의 취약점을 가지고 있다. 따라서 이 논문에서는 지불 프로토콜에서 개인프라이버시 보호의 취약점을 보호하기 위해 TMUCert라는 임시이동 사용자인증서를 신뢰기관으로부터 발급 받아 사용한다. 사용자가 원하는 서비스에서 지불만으로도 사용 가능한 컨텐츠 서비스을 이용하기 위해 TMUCert을 사용하여 불필요한 개인정보 노출을 방지하여 개인 프라이버시를 보호해 준다. TMUCert는 기존 인증서와는 달리 개인정보 노출 없이 개인프라이버시를 보호하고 익명성을 제공해 준다. 또한 공개키를 효율적으로 공유할 수 있도록 하여 이동성을 동시에 만족시켜 유비쿼터스 환경에서의 안전한 지불 프로토콜을 제공하도록 한다.

This work developed a hood and filter for antibacterial protective clothing for medical powered air purifying respirators (PAPR) that can be used in medical settings and quarantine against infectious diseases such as Zika virus, Middle East respiratory syndrome (MERS), and coronavirus disease-19 (COVID-19). The hood material of the protective clothing was made of polypropylene spunlace nonwoven fabric (SFS) was used for withstand wind pressure and external physcial pressure. Forthermore, in order to reduce the user's risk of infection, phytoncide-based materials were used on the outer-surface of the hood to achieve a 99.9% antibacterial effect, and the inner-surface were treated with hydro-philic materials to improve absorbency by 25%. In addition to evaluating the artificial blood penetration resistance, dry mi-croorganism penetration resistance, wet bacteria penetration resistance, and bacteriophage penetration resistance required for medical protective clothing hoods, it received a passing evaluation of levels 2-6. Meanwhile, as a result of evaluating the performance of the antibacterial treated spunlace high efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filter, excellent antibacterial properties, dust removal rate, and differential pressure effect were confirmed. All performance evaluations were conducted by an accredited certification body in accordance with the medical PAPR certification standards.

Recent years have witnessed that IT-convergence technology has become the most important issue in the global market. Along with this trend, demand for PSS(i.e., Product-Service Systems) design has been rapidly increased in the smart clothing market. A case of the PSS design research, this study aimed to identify optimum conditions for weaving of POF-based flexible textile display(abbreviated as "PFTD") for mountaineer wear with safe-guard function regarding luminescent properties. Based on the findings regarding the optimum weaving condition of PFTD, several designs of mountaineer wear were suggested in this study. A total of 15 PFTD samples were prepared under various weaving conditions of weave structures and density of POF, and the luminance values of each sample were measured. As the results, the types of PFTD with structures and density of 'satin 3:1', 'satin 2:1', 'twill 3:1' and 'twill 2:1' indicated relatively higher luminescence. And based on the results and recent sports fashion trends, two suited mountaineering wears applying PFTD were illustrated in this study.

쥐는 옛부터 인류와 역사를 같이 하면서 사람에게 도움을 주었다는 일화도 많지만 사람들이 먹을 양식을 없애는 등 인간을 괴롭혀온 존재이기도 하다. 그래서인지 옛풍습에도 쥐를 잡아 없애기 위해 음력 정월 첫번째 자일(子日)에 농가에서는 ''쥐복이''라 하여 쥐를 복아 죽인다는 뜻으로 콩을 볶는 풍습이 있는가 하면, 정월 보름에는 쥐를 쫓는 뜻에서 쥐불놀이를 하여 논밭두렁에 불을 지르고 고함을 질러 쥐가 놀래 멀리 도망치게 하는 풍습도 있는 것이다. 이런 옛풍습을 보더라도 쥐를 없애기에 무던히도 고심하였던 것이 역력히 나타나며 우리 생활에 얼마나 많은 피해를 주었는지 재삼 말하지 않아도 알 수 있을 것이다.

농약공업협회(회장 염병만)가 지난 10월 12일부터 15일까지 서울 양재동 aT센터에서 열린「2005서울 국제원예전시회」에 참여, 전시회 및 농약안전성 세미나를 개최했다. 2개 부스를 확보, 주요 원예용 농약 및 방제복, 농약안전성에 대한 각종 판넬 10여종을 전시하고, 방문객을 대상으로 수천부를 상회하는 다양한 홍보자료를 배포한 이번 전시회는 소비자 이해 제고를 위해 상당한 효과를 거둔 것으로 분석된다.
