A Study on the Heritage Value through the Analysis about the Preservation Status of Historic Urban Environment - Focusing in Suwon Hwaseong Fortress - (역사적 도시환경의 보존형태 분석을 통한 유산적 가치 고찰 - 수원 화성을 중심으로 -)

  • The purpose of this paper is to draw historic valuable resources to conserve through the analysis about the preservation status of historic urban environment in Suwon Hwaseong Fortress. As for the conservation of urban environment, it is important to protect the resources showing historical continuity and to manage the resources remaining characteristics of place, the analysis of the preservation status is focused on the perspective of preservation of physical form and land use. This paper makes progress through three phases. First, in order to understand urban environment in Hwaseong Fortress overall, it compares land registration original map in 1911 to current map in 2014 by the four items of topography, water environment, streets and sites. Next, changes of four items in urban environment have been reviewed further by the research of maps, relative literatures, field survey and interview, and are classified according to the criteria of preservation-partially preservation-disappearance. After analysing preservation status, valuable urban historic cultural resources are drawn separately by being preserved continually and by being preserved partially but remaining characteristics of place. As a result, natural factors of topography and waterway and urban factor of streets are remained considerably preserved. And even if these factors are changed, the ground environment features support to understand historic urban context. Second, as preservation of topography, water environment, streets and sites are closely related to each other, integrated conservation frameworks are needed to enhance urban historic landscape. Third, modern historic resources in Hwaseong are remained unchanged and thus it is necessary to understand urban historic environment by the layers of various times besides Joseon Dynasty period. Fourth, historic sites and streets which had been preserved through urban development process are destroyed by recent historic cultural restoration policies, therefore urban historic resources worthy of conservation should be treated prudently.

Long-Term Preservation Strategy of Digital Records (전자기록 장기보존정책의 현황과 과제)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the current state of long-term preservation policy for electronic records in Korea and to present future tasks. Although the current electronic record long-term preservation policy is not clearly codified, it can be said to consist of technical elements such as digital signature, hash, preservation format, and long-term preservation package. Each technological element was considered in order, and the limitations of the current policy and technology in the changing digital environment were analyzed and alternatives were presented.

A Study on the Applicability of Wood Preservatives to Wooden Cultural Properties by Aging Treatment (열화 처리에 의한 목재 보존제의 목조문화재 적용성 평가 연구)

  • Wooden cultural heritage are exposed to the external environment as they and there are many difficulties in conservation due to their location and size. Among them, biological damage caused by termites or mold consumes a lot of money and time. Select and use wood preservatives to prevent biological damage: Wood preservatives were selected and the worst environmental conditions, temperature 60±3℃, humidity 55±5%, and light intensity of 0.35 W/m2, were subjected to aging treatment to analyze chemical changes. Through the deterioration process, it was confirmed that the change in color difference decreased in the wood preservative treatment compared to the Control group. As a result of measuring the content of the active ingredient contained in the deterioration process of the wood preservative, it was confirmed that the active ingredient content of Gori22 and Bondex Preserve III was higher than that of the comparative Wood Keeper A. Through experiments, the shelf life and treatment period can be predicted by measuring the extent to which wood preservatives affect the change of wood specimens during the deterioration process and the content of active ingredients. In conclusion, various wood preservatives were prepared, and the possibility of selectively selecting wood preservatives according to the environment, topography and period was presented as a major evaluation factor.

들깨 유전자원의 보존 기간, 방법에 따른 종자 활력 변화

  • 들깨는 잎은 채소, 종자는 기름과 향신료로 이용하는 특용작물로 국립농업과학원 농업유전자원센터에는 국가등록 3,066자원을 보유하고 있다. 들깨 유전자원의 보존기간과 방법에 따라 종자 활력의 차이가 어떻게 변화했는지 알아보기 위해 농업유전자원센터 보존 중인 들깨 유전자원의 발아율을 조사하였다. 온도는 4도, -18도, 밀폐용기 보관하여 보존한 들깨 종자를 10년 보존 후 발아조사를 수행하였다. 발아환경은 페트리디쉬에 거름종이를 깔아 멸균수로 수분을 공급하고, 종자를 50립씩 2반복 치상 후 20도에서 7일, 14일에 조사하였다. 4도에서 보존한 들깨 577자원은 발아율이 85%이상인 자원이 184자원으로 나타났다. -18도에서 보존한 들깨 725자원은 발아율이 85%이상이 자원이 329자원으로 나타났다. 세계적으로 식물유전자원은행에서 양호한 발아율의 기준으로 85%를 사용하는데, 4도 보존 들깨 유전자원들은 조사한 자원의 32%가 양호하였고, -18도 보존 자원들은 45%가 발아 기준을 만족하였다. 들깨유전자원을 10년 주기로 발아율을 조사한 결과 -18도 보존 종자의 발아율이 4도 보존 종자보다 기준발아율이 13% 우수하였으나 두 처리 모두 85% 기준발아율을 만족하는 자원이 50%이하로 나타났다. 본 연구결과는 들깨유전자원을 4도, -18도에서 장기 보존할 때에 종자 활력 예측 및 활력 모니터링 연구에 도움이 될 것이다.

Chitosan 및 Oligochitosan을 첨가한 창란젓의 보존 효과

  • Chitosan은 식품산업, 의료·의약, 환경, 농업 등 거의 분야에서 광범위하게 응용되고 있는 새로운 천연 기능성 물질이다. 최근에는 항균작용 등 생리활성 기능을 나타내는 chitosan 및 oligochitosan을 활용하여 식품의 유통기간 연장을 위한 연구가 보고되고 있다. Chitosan은 축육소세지 (Park et al., 1999) 및 김치 (Yoo et al., 1998; No et al., 1995)에 대하여 보존효과를 나타내었으나 저염 명란젓 (Kim, 1996)에는 보존 효과가 거의 없다고 보고되고 있다. 본 실험에서는 저염 창란젓의 유통기간 연장 및 기능성 강화를 할 목적으로 chitosan 및 oilgochitosan을 첨가한 창란젓의 숙성기간에 따른 보존성을 연구하였다.
