본 연구에서는 20대 경도비만 남성을 대상으로 시판 남성용 상체 보정속옷에 대한 착용만족도를 알아보고 개선점을 파악하고자 하였다. 피험자는 20대 남성이면서 BMI지수가 25~30인 (경도비만)인 사람으로 15명을 선정했다. 연구 결과, 남성들의 보정속옷에 대한 인지도와 관심도는 낮은 편이었다. 착용 만족도 조사에서는 입고 벗을 때 불편하다고 부정적으로 답한 사람이 많았다. 압박감면에서는 초반에는 압박감이 강하다고 느끼지만 시간이 지날수록 익숙진다고 하였다. 답답함과 더위와 관련하여 부정적으로 응답한 사람이 과반을 넘었고 땀 흡수 및 배출과 관련해서도 부정적인 의견이 많았다. 시각적인 부문에서는 가슴 보정, 허리 옆부분 보정, 허리 앞부분에서 모두 긍정적인 반응을 보였다. 결론적으로, 남성용 상체 보정속옷의 개선점은 과한 압박감이 가져다주는 답답함과 소화불량, 여름철을 고려하여 더위와 땀과 관련한 기능성 부분인 것으로 나타났다.

This study aimed to typify men's beliefs, perceptions, values, and attitudes, regarding foundation underwear, and examine the characteristics of each perception. Thirty-one statements on men's correctional underwear were selected, and Q classification was conducted with 20 men in their 30s and 40s as the P samples. Factors were extracted using principal component analysis and varimax rotation. Type 1 was the "fit improvement disadvantage cover type", which covered the target area, and improved the clothing fit. Type 2 was referred to as the "highlighting the advantages of chest correction" type, that was used to improve chest correction and exercise efficiency. "Positive wear for compensation of the abdomen", was listed as type 3, and was worn for abdominal correction. It was believed that type 3 could be used to correct body shape even if it was uncomfortable. Type 4, the "hip-up correction functional type", emphasized functionality based on its hip-up correction design.

브래지어(Brassiere)는 유방을 중심으로 흉부를 감싸주는 여성용 파운데이션으로 브라(bra), 업리프트(uplipt), 밴도(bandeau)라고도 한다. 또한 브래지어는 유방을 받쳐주고 보호하며, 가슴의 모양을 교정해서 상의의 이상적인 실루엣을 조성해 주는 구실을 한다. 이러한 브래지어는 청결 보호뿐만 아니라 신체보정의 중요한 역할을 하고 있는 여성의 필수적인 속옷으로 최근 현대인들의 생활양식 변화와 소비수준의 향상으로 신체균형에 대한 인식이 대두되면서 아름다운 체형에 대한 관심과 욕구가 강해지고 이로 인해 보정과 기능성을 겸비한 브래지어에 대한 필요성이 대두되고 있는 실정이다. This study measured and analyzed clothing pressure at each measurement part of commercial body shapers to provide basic information for product design and clothing pressure standard and level. This study used five body shaper. Clothing pressure measurements were taken at 18points: Anterior area 8points, lateral area 5points, posterior area 5points. The findings of this study were as follows. As a result of measuring the clothing pressure, the body shaper 1 showed the highest pressure, and body shaper 5 showed the lowest pressure at almost of the measurement points of the three body types. In some cases, body shapers 2, 3, and 4 showed different orders of pressure depending on the measurement point. The highest measured values in most body shapers were the P1 shoulder area and the P2 bust area. The lowest measurement area differed by body type, but mainly P3 underbust area, P4 thorax area and P9 axillary area, P11 waist lateral area, P13 hip lateral area. These body shapers showed different results depending on the the manufacturers and body type of middle-aged women, and because there was no standard for the pressure value. Therefore, it is necessary to design a body shaper sizing system after accurately setting the clothing pressure value for each body part of the consumer.
