Studies on the Thermal Insulation Effect of Bedding ( I ) - Warmth Retaining Property of Filling Material - (이부자리의 보온력에 관한 연구( I ) -충전물의 보온성 -)

  • As a basic expriment to find out the thermal insulation effect of bedding KES-F7 was used to measure. The warmth retaining ratio of the six kinds of filling materials as cotton, wool , silk, down, cotton/polyester was measured, and the infleunce on the warmth retaining ratio of the warmth retaining ratio and humidity by the material was investigated. The results obtained are as follows: 1. The warmth retaining ratio of each filling material was shown to range from $70\%$ to $77\%$ . The warmth retaining ratio of each material preyed to be high in order down> polyester> cotton/polyester>cotton>silk>wool fiber. 2. The warmth retaining ratio of each filling material decreased with the inclose of the humidity The effective reduction rate by filling fiber's was high in order wool>cotton>cotton/polyester>silk>down>polyester material. 3. The warmth retaining ratio of each filling material was shown to be in counter-correlation with the humidity, and the correlation coefficient (r=0.94-0.98) proved to be highly signi-ficant.

  • 큰 일교차는 가축면역력 약화를 부른다. 낮과 밤의 일교차 약 $10^{\circ}C$ 전후의 환절기에는 면역력이 약한 어린 가축은 환경의 변화에 따른 대사불균형으로 질병 발생률이 높아진다. 가축에게 환경 스트레스를 낮춰주기 위해 아침 저녁으로 바깥의 찬공기에 노출되지 않도록 차단해야 하고 야간에는 축사보온, 낮에는 환기가 충분히 이루어지도록 해야 한다. 또한 양질의 사료공급은 물론 비타민, 광물질 등의 첨가제를 적절히 배합해 급여하고 호흡기 질병 및 설사병 등의 백신을 적기에 접종해 면역능력을 가질 수 있도록 해야 한다.

Effect of Double Layer Nonwoven Fabrics on the Growth, Quality and Yield of Oriental Melon(Cucumis melo L. var. makuwa Mak.) under Vinyl House (보온부직포 이중피복이 참외의 생육, 품질 및 수량에 미치는 영향)

  • The use of blankets to preserve heat in oriental melon cultivation is a common practise without artificial heating and warming systems. Efficiency of blanket decreased with annually usage. This experiment was conducted to investigate the effect of double layer nonwoven fabrics on heat conservation, plant growth, fruit quality and yield of oriental melon in greenhouse. The results were compared among the non-woven fabrics of 9+3, 6+6, 6+3 and 12 ounce from transplanting to April 20, 2001, 2002. Night temperature within tunnel was high at 9+3, 6+6, 6+3 and 12 ounce in order. In plant growth, stem length, leaf numbers and exudate, under double layer nonwoven fabrics were better than single layer blanket of 12 ounce especially, 9+3 double layer blanket was the best. Fruit weight, flesh thickness, soluble solid and marketable yield rate remained same in all treatments. Fermented fruit rate was the highest in 12 ounce as $32.9\%,\;19.6\%\;under\;9+3,\;17.1\%\;under\;6+6,\;16.6\%$ under 6+3 double layer nonwoven fabric, respectively. Compared to 2,260kg yield per 10a of 12 ounce single layer nonwoven fabrics, $7\%$ was increased under 9+3 but $3\%\;and\;13\%$ were decreased under 6+6 and 6+3 double layer nonwoven fabrics, respectively. Compared to income, 4,499-thousand-won per 10a, of 12 ounce single layer blanket, $13\%\;and\;3$ were increased under 9+3 and 6+6 double layer nonwoven fabrics, respectively. Whereas, $10\%$ decreased under 6+3 double layer nonwoven fabrics. From this results it is evident that 9+3 double layer nonwoven fabrics was the best for thermokeeping, fruit quality, and was most economic under non heating system.

Development of Manufacturing Method of Vessel for Keeping Warm by Hydraulic Bulging (액압벌징에 의한 보온용기의 제조방법 개발)

  • Bulging is a forming method to shape of die cavity by using hydraulic pressure in tube or vessel. Bulging machine and die were developed in order to produce vessel for keeping warm. Bulging machine is a double type with two horizontal cylinders for bulging of two pieces at the same time. The developed die system has one bulging die and two drawing dies for necking at the both ends of tube. The diameter of tube expands by hydraulic pressure in tube. at the same time, thrust at the both ends of tube. pushes tube in the direction of expansion to obtain high expanding rate with no crack. In this study, the bulging properties were investigated to solve tube crack and necking in manufacturing vessel by the combination method of bulging and drawing. As a result, high expanding rate of tube radius without crack, precision necking and high productivity were obtained.

  • 의복착용시의 쾌적성은 의복의 보온력 조절에 의해 의복내 기후를 형성하여, 체온을 일정하게 유지하게 하는 역할을 하므로 건강과 직접적인 관련이 있다. 그러므로 건강이나 쾌적성 평가의 측면에서 의복내기후가 체계적으로 파악되어야 한다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 사무실 환경에서 의복착용시 착용실험을 실시하여 계절적인 의복내기후의 변동을 살펴보았다. 그 결과 겨울 31.8$^{\circ}C$, 48.6%, 봄 33.5$^{\circ}C$, 47.9%, 여름 32.7$^{\circ}C$, 64.6%, 가을 31.9$^{\circ}C$, 43.6%인 것으로 나타났다. 또한 계절간의 차이는 의복내온도에 있어서 가을과 겨울간에는 차이가 없었으며, 봄과 여름간에는 차이가 있었다. 의복내습도는 여름과 겨울간에는 차이가 없었으며, 다른 계절간에는 차이가 뚜렷하였다.

  • This study was carried out to examine the effects of textile materials for thermal insulation value using a thermal manikin. Cotton, polyester, wool, silk and rayon were selected as outer wears like blouses, skirts, slacks, and one-pieces. Acetate was chosen as a lining. Brief and long sleeve upper underwear(cotton) were chosen as the inner wears. The results were as follows; There were no significant differences among the materials in skirts and blouse-skirt suits by the thermal manikin. However blouses, slacks, one-pieces and blouse-slacks suits were showed the effects of materials. Blouse-slacks suits was showed the highest thermal insulation value and one-piece had the lowest thermal insulation value.

Experimental Study on the Thermal Insulation of Woman's Korean-Styled Clothes under Still Air Condition -by the Instrumented Copper Mannequin on Standing-posture- (무풍안정시의 부인용한복의 보온력에 관한 연구 -동제인체모형에 의한 실험-)

  • The insulating values of 7 kinds of woman's Korean-styled clothes were examined on the instrumented copper mannequin standing upright under still air condition in a climatic chamber at $20^{\circ}C$ and $60\%$ R.H.. Results obtained are as follows: 1) High correlation coefficients were found in both between total insulating values of clothing (IT) and total clothing weight. and between IT and total clothing thickness while no significant difference was found between total clothing weight and total clothing thickness. 2) It seems possible to predict the approximate insulating value of woman's Korean styled clothes on still air condition by the total clothing weight.
