  • These experiments were carried out to study the factors affecting quality and textural characteristics in the preparation of artificial gluten meat (AGM). These results were compared with the raw beef on its properties. Effects of amounts of ingredients on properties of AGM were summarized as follows: 1. On effects of amounts of ingredients, walnut was one of the most factors on the color in AGM The more increased the amounts of walnut, the more decreased hardness, cohesiveness, chewiness, and the more increased springiness and water holding capacity. Therefore, the 30% of walnut added sample became similar to raw beef. 2. The kinds and amounts of oil and mixing methods did not affect on color, shear force, and chewiness, but did on cohesiveness significantly 3. The more increased the salt levels, the better were the hardness and chewiness, but shear force and water holding capacity were not affected. 2% of salt added sample approached to raw beef in hardness, springiness, cohesiveness and chewiness. 4. The more onion levels increased, the more hardness and chewiness decreased.

  • 해안 지역의 지하수 최적 개발 또는 관리 이전 단계에 수행될 수 있는 수자원 기본계획을 위한 지하수 개발가능량 산정식이 제안되었다. 산정식은 대수층 특성, 해수침투허용 거리, 지하수 해안유출량 그리고 관정의 위치 등 주요 영향 인자들의 함수이므로 매우 포괄적이며, 잘 알려진 해석 해들을 이용하였으므로 그 근거가 타당하다. 산정식은 관련 변수들의 양 함수로 표현될 수 있으므로 그 적용이 매우 간편하다. 또한 근거없이 임의의 값들이 사용되던 관정의 영향반경을 대수층의 수리특성과 양수량 등의 함수로 표현한 합리적인 식이 제안되었다. 가상 유역에 대한 적용과 수치 해와의 비교분석을 통하여 제안된 식들이 보수적인 결과를 산출한다는 것을 보였다. 제안된 식들을 기존 관정들이 존재하는 유역에 적용하면 추가 개발가능량을 평가할 수 있다.

  • Polyacrylic super absorbent polymer(SAP) containing sorbitol was synthesized by inverse-suspension polymerization method. Sodium acrylate and acrylic acid were used as a monomer, ethylene glycol dimethacrylate(EGDMA) and glycerol polyglycidyl ether(GPGE) were used as a crosslinking agent, potassium persulfate(PPS) was used as an initiator, and cyclohexane was used as a solvent. Content of sorbitol was from 10mol% to 50mol% according to the mol ratio of acrylic acid monomer. The size distribution of the round shaped polymeric particle was $177{\sim}707{\mu}m$. Absorption amount of the polymer containing sorbitol was 785 to 1086 times of the polymer weight in distilled water, was 50 to 83 times in 0.9 % NaCl solution. Absorption and retention amount of the polymer were decreased with increasing the amount of sorbitol, but the polymer has an endothermic property which is +5 cal/g SAP.

  • Crack sealing is a maintenance procedure that is commonly used to reduce pavement degradation. If cracks in pavements are not sealed, surface water penetration can reduce the strength of the sub-base layers, which can result in increased deflections of the pavement. Reduced strength of the sub-base also accelerates the deterioration of the surface, due to development of greater cracking and potholes. Crack sealing is performed to reduce water and debris penetration, thereby helping to maintain pavement structural capacity and limiting future degradation. The process of sealing cracks in pavements is however dangerous, costly, and labor-intensive operation. Labor turnover and training are increasing problems related to crack sealing crews, and as traffic volumes increase. Automating crack sealing can reduce labor and road user costs, improve work quality, and decrease worker exposure to roadway hazards. The main objective of this research is to develop an automated system for sealing cracks in pavement. Extension of the algorithms and tools presented in this research is also recommended for future study.

  • An analysis of covariance and Pearson correlation coefficient were performed to identify the relationship between both variables: traffic volume and crack. For this, it was carried out to analyse 216 tunnel inspection/diagnosis results with respect to the traffic. As a result, it has been proven that traffic volume and cracks in concrete linings are highly correlated. Therefore, it is recommended to consider traffic volume in planning of preemptive maintenance such as crack repair, etc.

  • 고압회전기의 고정자권선에는 열, 전기 및 기계적, 환경적 스트레스가 단독 또는 복합적으로 가해지며, 이러한 응력들은 기기의 크기, 정력, 동작상태 등에 따라서 변화된다. 따라서 주기적인 절연진단 시험을 통하여 절연상태를 평가하고 그 변화추이를 검토하여 잔여수명을 예측함으로써 보수 및 교체시기를 계획하여 절연파괴로 인한 대형사고를 예방하는 것이 가장 바람직하다. 본 논문에서는 대용량 회전기의 정지기간 동안 실시하는 진단시험 및 열화상태 판정법등에 관하여 서술하고자 한다.

  • Evaluation of fuel consumption for the various road condition and vehicle type is necessary to perform the economic analysis of road construction which is important for the efficient design and management of road. Economic analysis of road should consider the social cost which can be divided into agency cost including initial construction expense, maintenance cost, and so on, and user cost consisting of vehicle operating cost, congestion cost, etc. Since vehicle operating cost depends on the traffic volume, fuel consumption that is a major part of vehicle operating cost will change by traffic volume as well. Fuel consumption is significantly affected by vehicle speed and road condition, especially the roughness. Thus, fuel consumption should be evaluated in terms of road condition, which is not currently considered. In this study, the estimation model of fuel consumption for the passenger cars in Korea has been developed by considering the road condition. First, the relationship between vehicle speed and fuel consumption that is used to calculate the vehicle operating cost for investment evaluation of transportation facility and the initial feasibility study of road construction was investigated. Second, with the consideration of road roughness, fuel consumption of the passenger car was measured. From the measurement, it was found that fuel consumption increased by $80m{\ell}$ per 100km driving as the roughness increased by 1m/km. Therefore, it is recommended that for the economic analysis of road design and management, the fuel consumption should be a function of road roughness.

A Study on Algorithm for Materials Take-off Using Pothole Detection System (포트홀 감지 시스템을 이용한 보수재료량 산출 알고리즘 개발)

  • Various type of pavement deterioration such as crack, bumpy, pothole is rapidly increasing according to the accelerated environmental changes like heavy rainfall, frequent snowing, difference temperature, etc. Accident related to pothole that cause fatal traffic accidents has been increased more than five times over the next five years starting from 2008. As direct or indirect damage by pothole which caused injuries and car damages increases every year, quicker and more efficient management measures are necessary. This study presents the algorithm for materials quantity take-off. The algorithm was suggested by correlation in pothole size and area. Suggested algorithm were confirmed the validity through the 15 field survey in capital area. According to the results of survey, usually the residual materials at which 5~7 kg was generated decreased to 1~2 kg. It showed that automatic pothole detection system is expected not only to reduce materials and resources, but also to contribute to quality improvements of pavement through more accurate material take-off from the situation of constructing rely on their own judgement.

Properties of Repair Cement Mortar with C12A7-based Alumina Cement and Nitrite for Low Temperature Curing (C12A7계 알루미나시멘트 및 아질산염을 사용한 저온환경 보수시공용 시멘트 모르타르의 특성)

  • The purpose of this study is to evaluate the basic performance of cement mortar for repair using alumina cement and nitrite can be cured in low temperature environment. For this purpose, the repair mortar used in the domestic construction site was selected and the experimental evaluation was carried out by adjusting the mixing amount by substituting alumina cement and nitrite for the blending ratio. The experimental test results confirmed that alumina cement and nitrite were replaced with the repair mortar, the initial strength was improved. Also, the chemical resistance was improved, the shrinkage behavior was decreased, and the resistance to freezing and thawing was increased. As a result, applying alumina cement and nitrite at a ratio of 2:1 at 7.5%, the surface condition was maintained for 5 months or longer and it was judged to be excellent in practical use for external structures.
