인터넷은, 전화로 대변되는 과거의 정보통신 서비스와는 달리 사회 전반에 막대한 영향력을 행사하는 서비스로 발전하였다. 인터넷에 대한 의존도는 향후 모든 정보통신서비스가 인터넷을 기반으로 제공되는 All-IP 디지털 컨버전스 시대에 더욱 더 심화될 것이다. 이 경우 오늘날의 인터넷보다도 QoS(Quality of Service)에 관한 이슈가 더욱 중요해질 것은 자명하다. 이러한 배경에서 ITU(International Telecommunication Union)나 IETF(Internet Engineering Task Force)등의 국제표준화 기구에서 차세대 인터넷 (Next Generation Network, NGN)에 대한 QoS 문제를 연구하고 있다. 그러나 이들 국제기구는 주로 기술공학적인 측면에서 QoS 문제에 접근하고 있어서 현실적으로 완전한 대안을 제공하지는 못하고 있다. 즉, 인터넷 산업의 특성상 사업자간 끊김없는 연동(seamless inter-operations)과 협력이 필수적인데, 이는 기술공학적 측면보다도 비즈니스 및 정책적 관점에서 다루어져야 되기 때문이다. 통신 사업자 및 벤더(vendor)의 글로벌 컨소시엄으로 출발한 TMF(TeleManagement Forum)나 QuEST Forum 등의 역할이 중요해지는 이유가 여기에 있다. 이미 이들 단체는 사업자간 합의에 의해 자발적으로 구축한 NGOSS 및 TL9000 인증시스템을 바탕으로, 망사업자를 비롯한 서비스공급자 및 벤더 등과의 원활한 협력관계를 구축하는 글로벌 de facto 표준을 마련한 바 있다. 본 연구에서는 QoS 보장을 목표로 하는 차세대 인터넷(NGN)의 현실적 성공 가능성을 높이기 위한 글로벌 표준화 노력을 소개하고 이들을 비교/검토한다. 특히, ITU 및 IETF 등의 NGN 개발계획을 비즈니스/정책점 관점에서 보완할 수 있는 TMF와 QuEST Forum의 접근법을 고찰하여, All-IP 컨버전스 환경에서의 QoS 이슈에 시사하는 바를 살펴본다.

컴퓨터가 대중화 되면서 다양한 소프트웨어에 대한 수요가 증가하게 되었고, 많은 소프트웨어들이 단시간에 개발되어지고 있다. 이런 이유로 많은 소프트웨어들에 대한 취약점들이 생겨나게 되었고, 이를 해결하기 위해서 소프트웨어 벤더들은 패치를 만들고 배포를 하고 있다. 하지만, 다양한 시스템과 소프트웨어를 관리하는 곳에서 일일이 패치를 벤더로부터 받아 대상시스템에 설치하고 관리하기에는 어려움이 많으며, 일괄적이고 통합적인 방법이 필요하다. 이런 문제와 요구를 해결하기 위해 패치관리시스템에 관한 많은 연구들이 진행되어 왔으며 상용제품들도 하나둘씩 개발되고 있다. 하지만, 안타깝게도 많은 패치관련연구들이 안전한 패치관리시스템 설계나 구성에 관해서만 연구되고 진행되어 왔다. 안전한 패치관리시스템을 설계하거나 구성하기 전에 무엇보다도 우선시 되어야 하는 것이 필수적인 패치관리시스템 구성요소들을 정의하는 것이며, 이와 관련된 표준이나 연구가 많이 부족하다. 따라서 본 논문은 패치관리시스템을 구성하기 위한 기본적이면서 필수적인 구성요소들을 고려하고 정의했으며, 이를 바탕으로 기본 패치관리시스템 프레임워크를 설계했다.

This essay aims to develop a critical approach of interpretation in examining the panoptical condition of representation that is said to permeate the tradition of modern realism in novels and paintings. In defining this approach, I am interested in the problem or inability of panoptical representation to tell a coherent story of solitude(solitary confinement, isolation, self-absorption, etc.) in a range of texts from prison documents to paintings and novels, and also what might occasion such an inability including social, material, or stylistic contradictions and conflicting epistemological angles. This task potentially anticipates a trajectory of readings and investigations that cuts through the history of panoptical representation, which is outside the scope of this essay. In this writing, I will engage in a series of debates with what I consider as major theories and views of panoptical representation offered by Jeremy Bentham, John Bender, and Michael Fried. Based on this, I will formulate a conceptual or methodological frame of discourse that would envisage an anti-panoptical approach of interpretation. As an attempt to validate this formulation, I will offer a reading of Henry Mayhew's Criminal Prisons of London and Scenes of Prison Life(1862), a case of panoptical representation that produces a peculiar sense of ambivalence while accounting for sites of penal solitude.

인터넷 이용의 급증에 따라 전자상거래(Electronic Commerce)가 시간적, 공간적 제약을 극복한 새로운 경제활동으로 지식, 정보기반시대의 새로운 패러다임으로 국가 경제, 사회의 변혁을 주도하는 수단으로 부각되고 있다. 이러한 시대적 환경과 인터넷 이용의 확산으로 전자상거래 시장규모도 이례 없이 증가하고 있다. 특히 전자상거래에 대비하는 대부분의 업체들이 내세우는 전략의 공통점은 B2C(Business to Customer) 보다는 B2B(Business to Business)에 중점을 두고 있다는 것이다. 기업간 전자상거래에 필수적인 요소로 부각되고 있는 워크플로우 관리 시스템이 서로 다른 벤더들에 의해 제작된 워크플로우 엔진들의 상호운영성이 보장되지 않기 때문에 전자상거래의 제 기능을 발휘하지 못한다. 본 논문에서는 서로 다른 벤더들에 의해 제작된 워크플로우 엔진들의 상호운영성을 위한 기본 명세에 대해 살펴보기로 한다. 또한 엄청난 비즈니스 프로세스로 구성되어 있는 기업간 전자상거래 상에서의 통합된 비즈니스 프로세스를 정의하기 위한 워크플로우 정의도구 구현 시 고려해야 할 사항들에 대해서 살펴보기로 한다.

The purpose of this study is concerned with possibilistic decision making model (PDMM) that can be used to help CEO and information systems managers decide which information systems should be selected. The application of IT which has influence on rapidly changed environment of enterprise plays an important role in enterprise's activity. When enterprise outsource IT, it is very important to select vendors that reflect goals and constraints of organization. For this purpose, mathematical model in which possibilistic programming is applied is suggested in this study. Although many researches have conducted in conventional programming and stochastic programming. they are still limited in solving practical problems and imprecise/uncertain situations. Multiple decision making model in which impreciseness of input variable is considered can be constructed in PDMM.

This study aims to investigate the major causes of conflict between clients and vendors in the outsourced IS development. A research model is established based on the prior research of IS outsourcing, system development and conflict. An empirical study was executed using 214 survey questionnaire of project teams composed of client and vendor with PASW 18.0. Research results using multiple regressions show that contract specificity, requirements certainty, objective alignment and client knowledge have negative effects on conflict. This research results will provide various implications for outsourcing project success.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between working environment and quality of life of fashion vendor company workers by using working environment variables such as job stress, job burnout, job satisfaction, and turnover intention. Preliminary test was conducted by interviewing fashion vendor company workers in order to find out factors that were more suitable for their working environment. Main survey was conducted to 200 fashion vendor company workers and 194 responses were analyzed. The results of correlation analysis showed that job stress, job burnout, job satisfaction, turnover intention, and factors of quality of life had significant relationships. Boss stress, role stress, achivement decrease, and personal condition satisfaction showed a significant relationship with turnover intention. The results of path analysis showed that job stress had a positive relationship with job burnout and job burnout had a negative relationship with job satisfaction. Both job stress and job burnout had a positive relationship with turnover intention, whereas job satisfaction had a negative relationship with turnover intention. Also, the results showed that job burnout and turnover intention had a negative relationship with quality of life of fashion vendor company workers, whereas job satisfaction had a positive relationship with quality of life of fashion vendor company workers.

With the changes in information production and transaction, the ratio of electronic resources in library collection is increasing. Statistical date on usage of electronic resources is an important indicator for library management and development of information service. This study analyzed current state of global standards of usage statistics, and definition and features on electronic resources. It also provides current states of usage statistics data on electronic resources applied by major vendors and publishers. Based on the results of the study, this study proposed the methods to apply statistical data on usage of electronic resources to library management and development of information service.

In this study, we evaluated degree of importance of e-marketplace solution selection factors. Factor analysis was conducted to find out relationships among various variables which come from literature survey. The result shows that 16(sixteen) -selection variables regarding solution characteristics could be grouped into four areas 'flexibility', 'ease of use', 'security', and 'economy'. And 11(eleven) selection variables regarding to vendor characteristics could be grouped into three areas, 'vendor's support', vendor's general situation', and 'vendor's business accomplishment`. Through various analysis, we found important factors for 3 types of operational companies, buyer-biased, seller biased and neutral. 'Security for data item' was showed as the most important factor for all kind of B2B operational companies. For buyer-biased companies, additional supporting manpower, solution education, and educational cost are shown to be more important factors than others. Place of education, education hours and education level are important for 'Neutral' companies. And the factor 'market share of vendor' are important for 'seller biased' companies.

In hole type CPTu equipment which combines the concepts of inhole test method and piezocone test method was newly developed in order to evaluate the dynamic properties of marine soils. It is possible to perform inhole type CPTu without any additional source device because the source and receiver are contained inside the cone rod, which is different from the conventional seismic cone system. In this study, laboratory tests using kaolinite as soft soil and numerical simulations using finite element method were carried out to investigate the effects of several parameters including test methods and soil conditions on the test results from inhole type CPTu and to find out the optimum test method. It was found that it is necessary to maintain the length of swing arm as well as the distance between source and receiver consistently to obtain the rigorous test results. The laboratory test and numerical results also reveal that contrary to the input wave frequency, the water content of soil layer and the disturbance due to the installation of swing arm apparently affect the shear wave velocity.
