In this study, to evaluate newly developed Japanese encephalitis (JE) vaccine candidate CJ50003, we assessed its immunogenicity along with a previously commercialized inactivated JE Biken vaccine. The CR0003 viral antigens produced in Vero cells were administered suhcutaneouly to mice either with alum-adjuvanled or free form. The ELISA titers and neutralizing (NEUV antibody titers accounting for major protective immunity in JE were determined. Mice given alum-adjuvanted vaccine had a 10 times higher antigen-specific NEUT antibody response than did those which {lad received free antigens. This NEUT antibody response was maintained until day 168 with NEUT titer more than 1:160. Even with the 0.5 ng of alum-adjuvanted antigen dose, NEUT titer was induced more than 1:10 which is considered as an evidence for seroconversion and protection. Thc mice immune sera had a similar rate of cross-reactivity against three different viral antigens, Nakayama-NlH, P3 and SA14; as determined by ELISA assay. In a mice challenge model, vaccination with the GI50003 conferred more protection than with commercialized Biken vaccine against Nakayama virus. These data demonstrated that CJ50003 vaccine candidate has an excellent prophylactic efficacy and implicated it has a strong potential for further development and commercialization.

Scholarly information has increased tremendously according to the development of IT, especially the Internet. However, simultaneously, people have to spend more time and exert more effort because of information overload. There have been many research efforts in the field of expert systems, data mining, and information retrieval, concerning a system that recommends user-expected information items through presumption. Recently, the hybrid system combining a content-based recommendation system and collaborative filtering or combining recommendation systems in other domains has been developed. In this paper we resolved the problem of the current recommendation system and suggested a new system combining collaborative filtering and Naive Bayes Classification. In this way, we resolved the over-specialization problem through collaborative filtering and lack of assessment information or recommendation of new contents through Naive Bayes Classification. For verification, we applied the new model in NDSL's paper service of KISTI, especially papers from journals about Sitology and Electronics, and witnessed high satisfaction from 4 experimental participants.

프로시저 텍스처(Procedural Textures)는 게임업계의 많은 아티스트에게 악명이 높다. 이것은 일부 사용하기가 어렵기 때문이다. 프로시저 텍스처는 페인팅보다는 프로그래밍에 가깝다. 특히 합성 텍스처에서 잘 알려진 렌더만 (Renderman)은 완전히 변형된 언어이며 패키지가 지원하는 다양한 프론트 엔드는 거의 C++ 수준 매뉴얼처럼 미스테리하다. 또한 프로시저는 아티스트 측면에서 많은 의혹을 불러일으킨다. 진부하고 거의 불가피한 베이니 마블과 프랙탈 잡음은 파워포인트 클립아트의 CG 대응부다. 이러한 구조를 이용할 때 왜 프로시저 텍스처에 컬럼을 할애했는지 궁금할 수도 있을 것이다. 이번 호에는 프로시저 텍스처를 살펴봐야 하는 세 가지 이유를 정리했다.

벼농사의 궁극적인 목적이 좋은 쌀을 많이 생산하는 일이므로 양적으로 많은 쌀을 생산하는 일도 중요하지만 동시에 질적으로 우수한 쌀을 만드는데도 깊은 관심을 갖어야 할 것이다. 그동안 쌀의 생산기술이 많이 발달 향상되었지만 미질을 향상시키는 면에서는 미흡한 점이 적지 않다. 벼농사를 마무리짓는 수확과 탈곡$\cdot$조제 그리고 건조$\cdot$저장을 잘 해서 질이 좋은 쌀이 항시 공급될 수 있도록 되어야 하겠다.

This paper presents the deformation characteristics of cam ring in a balanced type vane pump. Cam ring is operated in the condition of high pressure. Therefore the local deformation of cam ring affects the characteristics of compression, vane motion and noise and vibration. We analyzed the deformation of cam ring in three types by using the finite element method. As results of analysis, deformed shape of cam ring and the effects of deformation on the compression are presented.

This paper reports on the theoretical study of the vane motions in a positive displacement vane pump. Vane detachment cause the pressure fluctuation, noise, wear in cam ring, and decrease the volumetric efficiency. Dynamic equation of vane motion and flow continuity equation have been modeled and solved simultaneously using 4th order Runge-Kutta method. As results of analysis, vane detachment occurs due to pressure overshoot by excess compression in the pumping chamber. Amount of vane detachment has been reduced by decreasing the pressure overshoot.

The radial acting load of vane on the camring in oil hydraulic vane pumps with and without intra­vanes have been investigated. The influences of the discharge pressure and rotating speed of the vane to the load were discussed. The variations of the radial acting load of a vane were calculated on the basis of the results measured for the dynamic internal pressure in the four chambers surrounding a vane. It provides essential information for the study of pump dynamics and control, the pump design and the analysis of tribological problems in the sliding components.

BICC 프로토콜은 광대역 패킷 네트워크 위에서 기존 PSTN/ISDN 네트워크 인터페이스와 서비스에 어떠한 영향도 주지 않으면서 PSTN/ISDN 서비스를 제공하기 위한, ISUP 신호 프로토콜 기반의 호 제어 신호 프로토콜이다. 본 고에서는 BICC 네트워크의 구조 및 구성 요소, BICC 프로토콜의 동작 절차, 그리고 BICC 표준 문서의 구성과 체계를 소개한다. 또한 IP 베어러 연결을 설정하기 위하여 새로 정의한 IPBCP 프로토콜을 기술하고, 마지막으로 향후 BICC 프로토콜의 표준화 전망을 기술한다.

This paper reports on the measurement of the vane motion in a positive displacement small vane pump. The capacitive method using ceramic vane is proposed to measure the vane motion. This method enables us to measure only radial motion of the vane regardless of the motions of other directions. With simple experiments and solutions of simultaneous equations, the indirect compensation of measured signal was performed.
