This study was conducted to confirm the research trend related to law librarians abroad. To this end, we collected articles about law librarians from abroad and analyzed the author's keywords and abstracts. As a result, it was confirmed that the primary roles of law librarians are legal research service, legal information service, and education service, and discussed topics on the changed roles of law librarians according to changes in the legal research environment and strengthening their expertise. Based on the results, the issues and directions for research about law librarians in Korea were proposed.

The main subjects of law school curriculum are composed of subjects based on related laws for law schools. The purpose of this study is to analyze the operation of the legal information subject in law schools and law libraries and to propose efficient operation methods on law information services which would be useful to law schools and law libraries. The results of this study are as follows: 1) 22 law schools have legal information research subjects as an essential or fundamental part of their curricula. Also, 2) in 14 law schools(63.6%) law librarians take part in the instruction of law information research subject, while in three law schools(13.6%) librarians do not participate, and in another three law schools(13.6%) outside experts teach them. Finally, 3) the graduate degrees or final majors of librarians participating in instruction are: Library & Information Science(33.3%), Administration(25%), and Law(25%). These results reflect the need for efforts to change instruction systems to team teaching with professors and law librarians, to give law libraries plenty of administrative support, and to enforce the related associations' roles with law libraries.

Faced with the establishment of Korean Law School which aims to educate the qualified lawyer to provide the high quality of legal service professionally and efficiently to the people with complicated legal problems, this study analysed the basic approval standards for Korean Law School Library which is described in the bill as a integral part of law school for effective legal education.

The purpose of this study is to compare and analyze legislation of homeschooling in the United State and South Korea and to seek a measure to legislate homeschooling in South Korea. To fulfill its goal, related literature and materials were reviewed to derive a criterion of analysis, and also state laws on homeschooling in the United States and homeschooling legislative bill in South Korea were compared and analyzed. The major findings of analyses are as follows. First, regards to declaration of intention in the procedure for homeschooling permission, legislative bill and law of both countries include related regulations. Second, regards to requirement for homeschooling, homeschooling legislative bill in South Korea nearly does not include related regulations while state laws on homeschooling in the United States mostly do include them. Third, regards to public school access policy, both parties do not include related regulations. Fourth, regards to education support service, homeschooling legislative bill in South Korea includes all of related regulations while state laws on homeschooling in the United States nearly do not include them. Fifth, homeschooling legislative bill in South Korea can be affiliated to low on degree of regulation in comparison to the degree of regulation of state laws on homeschooling in the United States. Based on these analysis results, conclusion and discussion have been proposed.

한국의 제도현실을 감안해보면, 호스피스 환자관리에 대한 표준지침 마련, 적정수가와 의료수송체계 관련 법률의 제정, 정부의 예산지원, 재가 암환자 관리사업의 활성화, 호스피스ㆍ완화의료 서비스 교육ㆍ홍보의 활성화 등에 대한 방안의 강구가 절실히 요청된다.

최근 정보기술과 유비쿼터스기술을 바탕으로 도시를 미래화하는 유비쿼터스도시(U-City)구축이 범 국가적으로 추진되고 있다. 이에, 정부에서는 2008년 9월 25일 유비쿼터스도시의 건설 등에 관한 법률 시행령을 발표하였으며, 유비쿼터스도시서비스(U-City Service)를 크게 행정, 교통, 보건 의료 복지, 환경, 방범 방재, 시설물 관리, 교육, 문화 관광 스포츠, 물류, 근로 고용 등의 분야로 구분하였다. 이러한 유비쿼터스도시서비스를 제공하고 운영 및 관리하는 시설로 유비쿼터스도시 통합운영센터(U-City Management Center)는 다양한 유비쿼터스도시서비스를 효과적으로 연계하여 서비스에서 발생되는 다양한 도시정보를 통합, 분석하고 제공하는 유비쿼터스도시 핵심기능을 담당한다. 하지만 이러한 유비쿼터스도시 통합운영센터의 구축은 운영조직구성, 운영비용확보, 통합서비스 제공방안, 법 제도 정비 등의 해결과제를 가지고 있어 구현방안에 대한 구체적인 연구가 요구된다. 본 연구에서는 선행연구를 바탕으로 유비쿼터스도시 통합운영센터에서 기본적으로 제공되어야 할 유비쿼터스도시서비스 유형을 제시하고 정의한다.

디지털홈 서비스는 기존 PC에서 제공하던 서비스와 차별화된 서비스를 실용화 하지 못하고 있는 이유 중에 하나는 오프라인에서 제공하던 의료, 법률, 교육 등의 서비스를 가정에 맞게 직접 제공하고 있지 못하기 때문이다. 이를 위하여 본 논문에서는 온라인에서 의사, 변호사와 안전하게 거래할 수 있도록 국가자격 인증기반을 구축하고자 이에 필수적인 검증 가능한 온라인 자격증 발급을 위하여 기존 공인인증서에 자격필드를 추가하거나, 기존 공인인증서를 그대로 사용하거나, 별도의 자격인증서를 발급하는 등 세 가지 발급모델을 제시한다. 또한 이러한 세 가지 발급모델의 장단점을 비교 분석하여 향후 자격인증기반 구축할 때 선택할 수 있는 기준을 제시한다. 마지막으로 기 제시된 세 가지 발급 모델 중에 자격필드가 추가된 공인인증서를 이용하여 의료서비스(E-Health)를 받는 서비스 모델 시나리오를 제안하고자 한다.

In this study, we develop a categorization of citizens' information problems in their everyday life based on the characteristics in their information seeking behavior for developing information services which support to solve the problems practically. First of all, we extracted keywords related to their faced everyday life problems from the scripts of open-ended interviews with citizens who had diverse characteristics. The keywords were categorized into 6 groups, such as hobby/recreation, legal problems, current affairs, education, health, and economic matters, based on the characteristics in related information seeking behaviors. Then the 6-group categorization was tested statistically with questionnaire survey data based on their prefered information sources. Through the statistical test, the 6-group categorization has proved being valid. Based on the results, we suggested to reconsider the current information services in public libraries, and discussed a possibility to shift the services to problem-based information services.

최근에는 각 산업별로 전문지가 왕성한 활동을 보이고 있다. 경제, 금융, 식품, 법률, 행성, 정보통신, 해양, 에너지, 교육 등 이루 열거하기도 벅찰 만큼 매체들이 많다 그중에는 오랜 전통으로 그 분야의 역사를 한눈에 알아볼 수 있을 정도로 단단한 기반을 가지고 있는 매체가 있는가 하면 최근에 창간돼 이름조차 생소한 매체들도 상당수 있다.정보통신 분야만 보더라도 (정확한 통계는 낼수 없지만, MS사 등 업체들이 발간(뉴스레터 형식의 서비스를)하는 매체를 포함해서) 온라인과 오프라인을 합쳐 70여개의 매체가 있다고 추산되고 있다.

This article investigates the impact of business incubator's support service and manager's capabilities on the start-up economic performance. BI's support services consist of physical infra, management/legal service, networking service, financial service, technical service, and education/training service. The results show that most BI's support services(except education/training service) have a positive effect on the start-up economic performance. This study also analyzes the gap between the importance and the satisfaction of BI's services. The results show that the satisfaction of BI's services is much lower than the importance. It can be explained that the start-ups' expectations are not able to meet. In conclusion, BI's services have a major impact on the start-up economic performance, but actually they didn't meet the expectation of the start-ups. In the future, the quality level of BI's services and manager's capabilities needs to be improved. The improvement will have a positive effect on the survival and growth of the startups.
