  • Recently for efficient management, companies have collected and investigated information about customers' feedback by using a system that analyzes big data from social media. This paper proposes more accurate and efficient evaluation method of collecting and investigating customers' feedback using social big data for travel agency, which is representative company of hospitality industry. First, it designs service model and, as a test-bed, analyzes media channel, customer satisfaction, and brand-image etc. of big 5 travel agencies in Korea. In addition, we suggest an analysis result of evaluating preference with positive rate and negative rate by proposed evaluation method. It allows a travel agency to know which area should be improved corresponding to evaluation item; thus, suggested evaluation method is effective to manage customers even more efficiently.

  • Recently, social network service (SNS) is actively used by public. Among them, Twitter has a lot of tweets including sentiment and it is convenient to collect data through open Aplication Programming Interface (API). In this paper, we analyze social issues and suggest the possibility of using them in marketing through sentimental information of users. In this paper, we collect twitter text about social issues and classify as positive or negative by sentiment classifier to provide qualitative analysis. We provide a quantitative analysis by analyzing the correlation between the number of like and retweet of each tweet. As a result of the qualitative analysis, we suggest solutions to attract the interest of the public or consumers. As a result of the quantitative analysis, we conclude that the positive tweet should be brief to attract the users' attention on the Twitter. As future work, we will continue to analyze various social issues.

  • To find out characteristics of TV home shopping's virtual space deepness styling, this study had analysis characteristics of space deepness which is showed on flat TV screen with actually aired 6 dinnerware sales case, at $C^*$ home shopping, March.2005~November.2010, and survey consumer's emotional verbal image according to space styling character to get space deepness, which were shown on flat TV screen with camera angle, and research mutual relation with consumer preference. Also consumer's typical emotional verbal images for each space styling images for brand dinner ware sales had been extracted with reliability analysis, factor analysis, and multi dimensional scaling MDS using SPSS. Styling characteristics of space deepness were contrast of size, layering, vertical arrangement, and perspective arrangement, and used camera angles were bird's eye view, hi angle, and eye level. Result from the research is, highly marked consumer preferred styling material had a deep corelation to material's main factor and perceived emotional verbal images. Therefore this research could bring forward to new consumer preferred styling characteristics according to camera angle. Furthermore, it will be possible to make a study of preferred styling material through evaluation of quantitative spectators of in this area.

As a result, attempts have been made to analyze the characteristics of K-Pop in various academic fields. This research quantitatively used the participatory use process of K-Pop contents in voluntary participation and dissemination of the audience in the Trans-Media environment. The author examined the use of participatory K-Pop contents from the view point of reparability through big data content analysis. It has been revealed that K-Pop is spreading globally through social media, fans of various countries like to play K-Pop, and they make up their own content and form a participatory culture. In addition, we looked at when the moments of momentum in which participatory use is soaring were popular content and who was the publisher.

  • This study aimed to compare the acoustic measurements of speech samples recorded from individuals with normal voices using various devices: the Computerized Speech Lab (CSL), a unidirectional wired pin-microphone (WIRED) suitable for smartphones, the built-in omnidirectional microphone (SMART) of smartphones, and Bluetooth-connected wireless earphones, specifically the Galaxy Buds2 Pro (WIRELESS). This study included 40 normal adults (12 males and 28 females) who had not visited an otolaryngologist for respiratory diseases within the past three months. Participants performed sustained vowel /a/ phonation for four seconds and reading tasks with sentences ("Walk") and paragraphs ("Autumn") in a sound-treated booth. Recordings were simultaneously conducted using the four different devices and synchronized based on the CSL-recorded samples for analysis using the MDVP, ADSV, and VOXplot programs. Compared with CSL, the Cepstral Spectral Index of Dysphonia (CSIDV, CSIDS) and Acoustic Voice Quality Index (AVQI) values were lower in the WIRED and higher in the SMART. The opposite trend was observed for the L/H spectral ratios (SRV and SRS), and the WIRELESS demonstrated task-specific discrepancies. Furthermore, both the fundamental frequency (F0) and the cepstral peak prominence of the vowel samples (CPPV) had intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC) values above 0.9, indicating high reliability. These variables, F0 and CPPV were considered highly reliable for voice recordings across different microphone types. However, caution should be exercised when analyzing and interpreting variables such as the SR, CSID, and AVQI, which may be influenced by the type of microphone used.
