통신 대역에서 전파 위치 측정 시스템 개발

  • 전자전이란 적의 지휘.통제.통신 및 전자 무기 체계의 기능을 마비시키고 적의 전자전 활동으로부터 아군의 무기 체계를 보호하는 제반 활동으로 설명할 수 있다. 통신 신호에 대한 전자전은 주로 VHF~UHF 주파수 대역의 전술 무선 통신에 대해 수행하며, 첩보의 이득을 가지기 위해 적의 통신 내용을 도청하는 통신 감청, 적의 통신을 마비시키는 전자 공격, 적 통신소 및 적 통신원의 위치를 탐지하는 방향 탐지 등 여러 분야가 있다. 그 중 한 분야인 방향 탐지에서 얻어지는 정보는 적 통신소의 방향에 대한 정보를 제공하여 전자 공격에 도움을 주며, 적 통신원 발생 위치를 파악 및 추적할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 전파 신호원의 위치를 측정하는 시스템의 개발 방안을 살펴보고 전파 신호원의 위치 측정에 중요한 요소인 전파의 도래 방향 및 전파의 발생 위치 측정 방안을 설명하였다.

Analysis of Direction Finding, Interference Cancellation, and Beamforming Performance by Array Antenna Pattern Measurement Distance (배열안테나 패턴 측정 거리에 따른 방향탐지, 간섭제거, 빔형성 성능 분석)

  • This paper analyzes the performances of direction finding, interference cancellation, and beamforming performance by array antenna pattern measurement distance between the center of array antenna and reference emitter. Array antenna is widely adopted for example as wireless communications, radar, and sonar. In order to use array antenna, array antenna pattern must be known and it can be measured in anechoic chamber. However, the size of anechoic chamber is generally limited. So measurement error of array antenna can be occurred and this could effect performance decrease of direction finding, interference cancellation, and beamforming. It is verified by computer simulation that the performances of direction finding, interference cancellation, and beamforming by array antenna pattern measurement distance.

  • This paper describes interferometer direction finder which measures the angle of arrival based on calculation of the phase difference of received radio signal from different antennas. Modern Electronic Warfare direction finder uses digital phase difference measuring techniques which have less effect on temperature variation and better performance under low Signal to Noise Ratio environment. In this paper, we analyze acceptable phase difference error for requirement of system's direction finding accuracy and introduce digital phase difference calculation techniques. We have investigated quantitative analysis on phase difference calculation according to sample number, SNR, interference injection. Through the simulation, frequency domain measurement technique is better performance than the time domain one at the environment of low SNR and interference injection. Proposed method can be used to determine the performance of interferometer direction finder.

  • In this paper, the performances of representative high resolution direction finding algorithms are evaluated and compared in wideband mobile environments. The angular spread phenomenon in mobile environments is first investigated and then a vector channel model for wideband OFDMA signals is derived. A direction finding system architecture for OFDMA smart antenna systems is proposed and finally the performances of high resolution direction finding algorithms are evaluated in wideband mobile environments by taking the WiBro system as a target system.

  • 정보화에 따른 인터넷의 급속한 발달로 인해 정보의 흐름 또한 예전과는 비교할 수 없을 만큼 빨라지고 그 양 또한 방대해져 가고 있다. 이러한 환경 속에서 네트워크로 연결되어 있는 컴퓨터에 대한 불법적인 침입 행위가 늘어나고 있으며 그 공격 방법 또한 날로 다양화, 지능화되어 가고 있다. 따라서 컴퓨터 시스템 혹은 네트워크를 통한 불법적인 침입에 대한 보안이 절실히 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 일반적인 침입 탐지 시스템의 구성요소와 침입 탐지 시스템의 분류방법, 그리고 대표적인 침입 탐지 기술에 대하여 알아보고 침입 탐지 시스템을 구현함으로써 현재의 침입 탐지 시스템의 문제점과 앞으로 나아갈 방향을 제시한다.

  • This paper relates to an IoT device system that detects sound source and estimates the sound source location. More specifically, it is a system using a sound source direction detection device that can accurately detect the direction of a sound source by analyzing the difference of arrival time of a sound source signal collected from microphone sensors, and track the generation direction of a sound source using an IoT sensor. As a result of a performance test by generating a sound source, it was confirmed that it operates very accurately within 140dB of the acoustic detection area, within 1 second of response time, and within 1° of directional angle resolution. In the future, based on this design plan, we plan to commercialize it by improving the reliability by reflecting the artificial intelligence algorithm through big data analysis.

  • This paper include to study DoA(Direction of Arrival) for radio collection and monitoring system. The direction finding calculated by applying the CVDF (Correlation Vector Direction Finding) algorithm for the five circular dipole antenna over V / UHF band. To improve the accuracy of direction finding by applying CVDF algorithm needs to obtain ideal phase difference each antennas. However, a circular array antenna phase difference pattern may be distorted on a specific frequency band or to particular direction. The effect of installing each array antennas circularly and the effect of the interference of center pole (located in the center of a circular array antenna mount) may make the distortion of phase pattern. If you use an active antenna instead of passive antenna to obtain good sensitivity, you would measure the more distortion. This paper propose how to change combination of antennas to measure the phase in real-time and how to use antenna beam patterns for minimizing the degradation phenomena at applying simple CVDF algorithm and increasing the direction finding capability.

  • In this paper, the wideband direction finding algorithm and system design method for short duration signal such as frequency hopping or burst signal is presented. The polyphase filterbank that it is possible for the near perfect reconstruction was used as a pre-processing and in each subband power measurement was performed to determine whether the presence of a signal and finally general direction finding algorithm was performed. In addition, various experiments was performed using Matlab Simulink and collected data from wideband receiver to verification of the proposed algorithm.

  • In this paper, a phase comparison direction finding method of circular array composed of 8 antennas considering polarization characteristics is analyzed. A broadband cavity-backed patch antenna operating in 6 ~ 12 GHz is used, and the antennas are arranged in radial direction to receive various polarization signals. For the phase comparison, widely spaced elements are used to obtain precise DOA(Direction of Arrival), and narrowly spaced elements are used to resolve ambiguity. Two dimensional direction finding is performed for ±20° in both azimuth and elevation, and the DOA error is less than 0.5° and 1.6° near the boresight and the ±15° region, respectively.
