Quantitative Analysis of Initial Dispersion Condition Effects on Randomness of Magnus Rotor Bomblet (Magnus Rotor 자탄의 초기 방출조건이 분산도에 미치는 영향에 대한 정량적 분석)

  • This research describes quantitative effects of initial dispersion conditions upon the dispersion randomness of Magnus rotor bomblets. Ratios of the missile spin rate to the missile velocity, a, flight path angles, ${\gamma}$ and altitudes, h, were changed to investigate their effects on dispersion randomness. Dispersion was analyzed through calculation of 6 degree of freedom motion equation with aerodynamic coefficients from wind tunnel experiments. In order to analyze the randomness, regression analysis is adopted to calculate the coefficient of determination. The optimized ratio of the missile spin rate to the missile velocity and flight path angle were obtained and the dispersion altitudes had more effect on the dispersion diameter and had less effect on dispersion than other parameters.

Preparation and Release Characterization of Sodium Alginate Bead Containing Phytoncide Oil (편백정유를 함유한 알지네이트 비드의 제조 및 방출 특성)

  • High molecular weight sodium alginate (HMWSA)/low molecular weight sodium alginate (LMWSA) microcapsules containing phytoncide oil were prepared with different LMWSA contents. The effects of the stirring rate and ratio of HMWSA/LMWSA on the diameter and morphology of the phytoncide/alginate beads were investigated by optical microscopy and the release behaviors of phytoncide oil from the phytoncide/alginate beads were characterized by UV/Vis. spectrophotometry. The mean particle size of the phytoncide/alginate beads decreased with increasing stirring rate and concentration of the calcium chloride solution. The surface morphology of the phytoncide/alginate beads changed from smooth surfaces to skin-like rough surfaces with increasing LMWSA content. These results were due mainly to the increased hydrophilic groups at the bead surface, resulting in an increase in the release rate of phytoncide oil in the phytoncide/alginate beads.

Release Behaviors of Poly(ε-caprolactone)/Poly(ethyleneimine) Microcapsules Containing Fragrant Oil (향오일을 함유한 Poly(ε-caprolactone)/Poly(ethyleneimine) 마이크로캡슐의 방출거동)

  • The biodegradable poly(${\varepsilon}$-caprolactone)(PCL)/poly(ethylene imine)(PEI) microcapsules containing $Al_2O_3$ and fragrant oil were prepared with different PEI contents. The effects of stirring rate and concentration of the surfactant on the diameter and morphologies of microcapsules were investigated by using scanning electron microscope (SEM). Thermal behaviors were studied by using a differential scanning calorimetry(DSC), and the release behaviors of fragrant oil from microcapsule were characterized by UV/vis. spectrophotometer. As a result, the average particle size of the microcapsules decreased with increasing the stirring rate or concentration of the surfactant. The surface morphologies of the microcapsules were changed from smooth surfaces to skin-like rough surfaces as increasing the PEI content. These results were mainly due to the increased hydrophilic groups at the microcapsule surfaces, resulting in increasing the release rate of fragrant oil in the microcapsules studied.

  • Microcapsules have been widely used in cosmetics and pharmacology as controlled delivery devices of various active materials. Chitosan is the second most plentiful natural biopolymer with biocompatibility and nontoxicity. The chitosan microcapsules were prepared by the water-in-oil (W/O) emulsion method using glutaraldehyde as a crosslinking agent. Span80 was used as an emulsifier, and mineral oil was used as a medium material. Perfectly spherical microcapsules were obtained in the size range of $2{\sim}10{\mu}m$. The effects of emulsifier concentration and stirring speed on the average particle size and distribution were investigated. Encapsulation and release behavior of the microcapsules with different amount of the crosslinking agent (glutaraldehyde), different chitosan contents and different emulsifier concentration conditions were also investigated. The release rate of riboflavin was controlled by the crosslinking density of the chitosan and amount of emulsifier in the preparation of the microcapsule.

  • The biodegradable poly($\varepsilon$-caprolactone) (PCL) microcapsules containing tocopherol were prepared by oil-in-water emulsion solvent evaporation method. The features of the microcapsules were investigated in the manufacturing conditions and degradation behaviors. The form and structural feature of the microcapsules were measured by scanning electron microscope and X-ray diffraction, respectively. The surface free energy of the microcapsules was executed using contact angle measurement. As a result, the microcapsules were more stable and spherical with poly(vinyl alcohol) given in a surfactant. The surface free energy and crystallinity of microcapsules were decreased with increasing the core concentration, and degradation of PCL was occurred after 21 days. The release behaviors were examined by Uv/vis. spectrophotometer. It was found that the release rate of the microcapsules was increased with increasing the stirring rate, due to the increased interface between microcapsules and release media.

  • Direct solid analysis of various kinds of metal samples has been conducted by glow discharge. In this laboratory, the gas-jet assisted glow discharge(GJGD) device has been developed and characterized. The effect of changes in applied current, cell pressure and flow rate on atomic emission signals obtained from a jet-assisted cathodic sputtering was investigate. The emission intensities of Cu, Zn, and Ar were measured. They were increased with the current. But the intensities were decreased by increasing the flow rate of argon due to the diffusion and transportation of particles into plasma. By increasing the pressure of the cell, the intensities were greatly decreased because of enhancement of redeposition onto the surface of the sample.

기체방출 저감 연구와 초고진공 펌프의 응용

  • 극고진공 장치와 대형 초진공 시스템에서 원하는 진공도를 합리적으로 얻기 위해서는 진공 재료의 기체방출률을 줄이는 것이 가장 효과적이다. 이 때문에 기능성 피막 처리, 고온 탈기체 처리와 같은 방법이 적용되고 있다. 스테인리스강은 표면에 치밀한 크롬 산화막을 만들거나 재료의 기체 함유량을 줄이는 방법을 사용한다. 알루미늄합금 강은 특수처리로 표면에 알루미늄 산화막을 형성함으로써 기체방출률을 낮추고 있다. 이 발표에서는 스테인리스강을 비교적 낮은 온도에서 처리하여 매우 낮은 기체방출률을 얻는 노력에 대하여 보고한다. 알루미늄합금에 대해서는 특수압출과 내 표면 거울처리 하는 방법에 대하여 설명한다. 또한, 연강과 같은 금속재료의 기체방출률 측정 결과를 제작 공정으로 설명한다. 한편, 지정한 시간 내에 목표 진공도를 얻는 것과 최소 배기속도를 선택하고 적절히 배분하는 것도 매우 중요하다. 작고 가벼운 게터 펌프와 이온펌프의 조합으로 이를 해결하는 노력, 이온펌프의 최적화 연구에 대하여 보고하고자 한다.

그라프트중합에의한 다공성 폴리아미드막의 공경의 조절

  • 최근들어 많은 연구자들에 의해서 고분자 재료를 이용하여 약물의 방출속도를 조절하며 이를 통해서 장기간에 걸쳐 치료 유효농도이상의 혈중농도를 유지 함으로써 치료효과를 극대화 하려는 연구가 진행되고 있다. 특히 고분자 재료를 이용한 macromolecular drug의 방출조절에 관한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. Macromolercular drug은 인슐린, 알부민등의 단밸질과 유로키나제등의 효소와 같이 약효는 매우 높으나 적절한 투여 수단이 발견되지 않아 투여가 매우 번거로운 단점을 가지고 있다. 이와같은 macromolecular drug의 대부분은 구강을 통해서 투여하는 것은 거의 불가능하며 체내 반감기도 매우 짧아서 절절한 투여방법의 개선이 필요하다. 따라서 본 연구실에서는 macromolecular drug의 투여방법을 개선하고자 다공성 고분자막을 이용하였으며 생체 환경의 변화에 대해서 투과속도가 변화하는 자극감응성 고분자 막을 개발하고저 기질로 사용한 고분자 막의 표면에 기능성 모노머를 그라프트 반응을 통해서 도입하고 이의 이용 가능성을 확인하였다.

  • This work studied the loading capabilities and release behaviors of poly(ethylene-alt-maleic anhydride) (PEMAh)/poly(4-vinyl pyridine) (P4VP) multilayer films formed by the layer-by-layer(LbL) sequential self-assembly method, using Rodamine 6G(R6G) as an indicator. Thickness of the multilayer, and loading and subsequent release behavior of R6G from the multilayer were studied using UV-visible spectroscopy. The amount of R6G loaded in multilayer film increased linearly with increasing film thickness. pH-Sensitive permeability was observed, where lower pH environments increased both release rate and release amount. By additional assembling of PEMAh/poly(ethyleneimine) (PEI) capping layers on top of (PEMAh/P4VP)n multilayers, the release of R6G was better controlled.

Permeability of Silver Sulfadiazine through Crosslinked Chitosan Matrices (가교키토산 매트릭스를 통한 Silver Sulfadiazine의 투과)

  • Crosslinked chitosan was prepared from chitin after reaction with epichlorohydrin followed by deacetylation at C2-position. Epidermal releasing polymeric matrix was prepared after swelling crosslinked chitosan with distilled water and adding silver sulfadiazine and glycerine as a plasticiser. The release behavior of silver sulfadiazine from polymeric matrix was studied in pH 7.4 phosphate buffer solution by varing the drug content, glycerine concentration, and the thickness of the matrix. The drug release time was delayed by increasing the content of silver sulfadiazine and the thickness of the matrix, whereas decreased as glycerine concentration increased. The apparent constant(K) of release rate was independent upon the matrix thickness, but was proportional to the content of drug or glycerine of crosslinked chitosan matrix. These results indicated that chitosan matrix showed some potential as a drug delivery system for transdermal therapeutic application.
