본 논문은 디지털방송 환경에서 시청자가 적극적으로 스토리 전개에 개입하여 스토리라인을 바꿀 수 있는 복수의 스토리라인(multi-storyline)을 가지는 인터랙티브 프로그램의 구현을 목적으로 한다. 시청자는 방송을 시청하는 도중 리모콘으로 방송의 스토리전개를 선택할 수 있으며 이는 기존 아날로그방송에서는 불가능한 새로운 유형의 연동형 데이터방송 프로그램(enhanced service)이다. 이는 국내 디지털 위성방송 표준인 DVB-MHP방식으로 세계 최초로 구현한 것으로 이를 응용해 A/V방송제작자와 데이터방송 애플리케이션(application)제작자는 보다 다양한 연동형 데이터방송 프로그램을 기획, 제작할 수 있고 시청자는 기존의 방송에서 보지 못했던 새로운 시각적, 적극적인 시청 경험을 하게 된다.

최근 4세대(4G) 통신망으로의 전환의 가속화와 스마트 모바일 기기의 확산으로 인하여 무선 통신망에서 데이터 트래픽이 급증하고 있다. 이러한 급증하는 데이터 트래픽을 분산시키기 위하여 2개의 주파수 밴드를 사용하는 멀티 캐리어 기술이 선보이고 있다. 방송 디스크는 서버가 데이터베이스에 저장된 모든 데이터를 연속적으로 다수의 모바일 클라이언트에게 방송하고, 클라이언트는 방송 채널을 감시하여 원하는 데이터가 방송될 경우 방송 채널로부터 데이터를 수신하는 통신 구조이다. 이런 관점에서 방송 채널은 클라이언트가 데이터를 액세스할 수 있는 디스크의 역할을 담당한다. 본 논문에서는 무선 통신망이 멀티 캐리어를 지원할 경우, 클라이언트에서 실행되는 읽기 전용 트랜잭션의 정확성을 보장하기 위한 동시성 제어 기법(Dual-Channel based Concurrency Control: DCC)을 제안한다. 기존에 동시성 제어 기법들은 단일 방송채널에서 트랜잭션의 철회률을 줄이기 위하여 추가적인 제어 정보들을 방송하거나 방송 데이터의 타임스탬프 필드를 이용하고 있다. 클라이언트에서 실행되는 트랜잭션은 단일 방송 사이클이 아니라 여러 방송 사이클에 걸쳐서 실행된다. 이러한 방송 디스크 환경의 특징은 클라이언트 트랜잭션이 디스크에서 방송 인덱스를 판독하여 방송 프로그램 상에서 트랜잭션에 필요한 데이터가 방송 될 때까지 기다리게 된다. 이와는 달리 DCC는 주력 망과 보조 망에서 방송되는 방송 프로그램의 순서를 서로 다르게 하여 데이터 판독에 필요한 대기 시간을 줄일 수 있다. 보조망의 방송 프로그램의 순서는 주력망의 방송 프로그램 순서의 역순서로 방송함으로써 보조 망 또는 주력 망에서 실행되고 있는 트랜잭션이 다른 방송 채널의 방송 인덱스를 판독하지 않아도 방송 프로그램 순서를 예측할 수가 있다. 그 결과, DCC는 방송 디스크의 데이터 판독에 요구되는 대기시간을 줄여 읽기 전용 트랜잭션의 철회률을 줄일 수 있다는 장점을 갖는다.

In this paper, we propose a novel method for authenticating a user's personal-usage using a secure portable storage, so that the user carrying the secure portable storage is able to consume his/her own broadcast programs freely, regardless of the location of the devices. The proposed authentication process is performed by a portable personal-usage authentication device, an access-control module for the portable personal-usage authentication device, and a player integrating the access control module. The portable personal-usage authentication device plays a role of secure storage in which domain authentication information is securely stored, while the access-control module is in charge of accessing the authentication information and, consequently, acquiring a decryption key. The player decrypts the broadcast programs in real time and processes the decrypted media streams. In this Paper, we describe the structure and procedure of the proposed model, and verify its feasibility by implementation.

Broadcasting contents market is changing back of a smart TV appearance recently. This study proposed a contents industry view and government policy direction. We accomplished an depth interview with expert of Broadcasting Content Production Support. The data analysis method executed the content analysis. The research results presented in a three direction.

디지털 TV 방송의 시작과 함께 온갖 종류의 정보를 쌍방향으로 전달할 수 있는 데이터 방송이 가능해졌다. 그 중 연동형 데이터 방송은 방송 프로그램을 전송하면서 그 프로그램과 관련된 데이터를 같이 제공하는 서비스이다. 본 논문에서는 TV 방송을 보면서 퀴즈 자막을 내보내고, 리모콘을 통해 즉각적인 정답확인이 가능한 데이터 방송 애플리케이션 Xlet을 개발하였다. 더불어 자막으로 내보내지는 퀴즈의 내용 및 유형 등을 제어하는 퀴즈 자막 편집기를 구현하였다. 프로그램 PD는 퀴즈 자막 편집기를 통해 퀴즈의 유형과 내용, 글자의 크기와 색상, 자막이 나가는 시간등을 선택하고. 제어된 내용을 파일에 저장할 수 있다. 실제 TV상의 에뮬레이터나 PC상의 에뮬레이터에서 데이터 방송 마스터 프로그램을 실행시키면 방송이 시작된다. 이 때 편집기를 통해 만들어진 파일의 내용을 읽어와 PD가 지정한 내용과 시간에 퀴즈를 내보내게 된다. 이것을 보는 시청자는 리모콘으로 답을 입력하고 그 에 대한 정답 여부를 확인할 수 있도록 한다.

Under the Chapter 1, Article 3(Protection of Rights and Interests of Viewers) of the Broadcasting Act, the viewers should be able to participate in decision-making with regard to planning, programming, or production of broadcast programs. For this, the public service broadcasting, KBS is operating two kinds of system such as 'viewer-evaluation program' and 'viewer-participation program' that televises the broadcasting programs directly produced by viewers. This study presented several improvement measures by analyzing the contents of viewer-participation programs televised through the of KBS, so KBS could work as an open public platform in which the people could freely express their own thinking, ideology, opinions, and ideas.

Reunification is one of the most important values that the South Korea should pursue, and Korean broadcasting takes duties as a social communicator to practice the reunification ideology. In the context of multi-channel, multi platform broadcasting system, reunification should be emphasized as fundamental broadcasting principles. This study attempts to analyze the regular programs which cover North Korea and reunification in KBS and MBC from 2001 to 2010 in order to show the practices of the reunification ideology in Korean broadcasting. The results of this study show that theses programs should make efforts to find new material and develop a new program formats. In addition, there should be various genres of reunification programs in order to deliver reunification issues in more interesting ways. TV programs regarding reunification need to be designated as mandatory programs. Based on these results, this study discusses practical suggestions and policy considerations for the practice of reunification ideology in Korean Broadcasting.

국내에서 디지털 방송 상용화에 성공하고 전송 모델 또한 다양화됨에 따라 사용자는 다양한 형식으로 다수의 방송 프로그램을 접할 수 있게 되었다. 이에 대한 효율적인 프로그램 관리를 위한 EPG(Electronic Program Guide) 서비스가 현재 제공되거나 개발 중이다. 지능형 개인화 EPG는 디지털 방송 스트림이 수신되는 환경에서 사용자와 방송 수신기의 지능적인 매개체로서 운영되며 본 연구는 기존 프로그램 정보에 대한 장르를 학습하고 새로운 프로그램 정보가 입력될 경우 올바르게 장르를 분류할 수 있도록 기계학습 기법이 사용되었다.

본 논문은 실시간 개인 생방송 시스템 구현 사례를 소개한다. 본 시스템은 개인용 단말기에서 실행되면서 개인이 실시간 생방송을 할 수 있는 환경을 제공하는 클라이언트 프로그램, 클라이언트에서 웹캠코더로 제작된 영상을 참조영상, 이미지, 문자 등과 합성하여 HDMI, SDI, RTSP 출력을 제공하는 데이터 관리 프로그램, 그리고 방송스케줄 등록과 큐 쉬트(Cue Sheet) 등록 기능 및 사용자 관리 기능을 제공하는 운영관리 프로그램 등으로 구성된다. 본 시스템의 특징은 생방송 지연 시간이 1초 미만이며, 방송 영상과 배경화면을 합성하는 기능, 그리고 고화질 영상을 출력하는 기능을 제공하는 것이다.

In the meantime, broadcasting CG has gone through the process of dismantling, changing, and distorting, while broadcasting CG in broadcasting programs utilizes the expanded background of 'temporality' and 'formality'. This is to create an audiovisual language that appeals to human synesthesia by expressing the meaning to be conveyed in three dimensions. Broadcast CG goes beyond simple instructional and informational broadcast graphic operation, and increases the pure aesthetic value and sensibility of the video considering readability and formativeness, and through this, the audiovisual information perfection of the broadcast program is derived and acts as a very important factor. Therefore, this paper examines the results of broadcast CG production and utilization methods at existing local broadcasters, and identifies the limitations of local broadcasters' CG production and utilization through case analysis for each broadcast program type. We want to derive a model that is a compromise line. In addition, I would like to suggest a plan that can be applied more actively and practically to local broadcasting programs. In order to solve this problem, this study first examines "Analysis of cases of use of broadcasting CG production in broadcasting programs" and then "more efficient broadcasting CG production techniques by identifying problems in broadcasting CG production methods and utilization of local broadcasters" and how to actively use it". In addition, the results of this study are expected to contribute to the establishment of a new role and practical broadcast CG production model for broadcast graphic designers in charge of broadcast CG production and the technical perspective of broadcast program production by local broadcasters.
