A Householder's transformation is applied to the resistivity inversion problem. The conventional resistivity inversion method is sometimes numerically unstable in interpreting a resistivity sounding data because it usually solves the normal equation derived from an observation equation. The resistivity inversion method using Householder's transformation solves the observation equation directly, so that it is numerically more stable than the conventional method. A theoretical, ill-conditioned Schlumberger sounding data was chosen to test the inversion scheme with Householder's transformation.

There is high probability of steel corrosion on the reinforced concrete exposed to marine environment by penetration of chloride ion. When making concrete structure with slag as admixture in marine environment, salt damage can be prevented. Therefore, this paper presents experimental results of steel corrosion resistance of slag concrete considering marine environment through half-cell potential method which is one of the nondestructive test. As a result of half-cell potential experiment, it was assumed that every specimen exposed to marine environment was not corroded, and as a result of destroying specimens, it was confirmed that there was no corrosion in specimens.

NPT ensemble을 이용하여 Joule-Thomson 반전 곡선 (Joule-Thomson inversion curve, JTIC)를 구하는 기존의 모의실험 방법들과는 달리, 본 연구에서는 NVT 분자동역학 모의실험을 이용하여 JTIC를 구하는 방법을 개발하고, 이 방법을 이용하여 아르곤 기체의 JTIC를 구할 수 있음을 보인다. 본 연구 결과를 실험 및 다른 이론들과 비교, 분석한 결과, 낮은 온도에서의 JTIC는 실험 및 이론 결과와 유사한 반면, 높은 온도에서는 일정 정도의 차이를 나타냄을 알 수 있다. 이 차이는 분자동역학 모의실험에 사용하는 적은 입자 수와 모의실험 시간, 그리고 curve fitting 방법 등에 기인하는 것으로 여겨진다. 또한 본 연구를 통하여 NVT 분자동역학 모의실험 방법만 가능한, EDISON 계산화학 프로그램 중 하나인 "Mixed LJ(12-6) particles MD"가 JTIC를 구하는데 유용하게 사용될 수 있고, 이를 통해 학부생들이 열역학의 기본 개념을 이해하는데 도움을 줄 것으로 기대한다.

In general a square master and a dial gauge are used to measure the axis squareness on the spot. This method is a comparison measurement and its accuracy depends on the square accuracy wholly. Therefore the accuracy of a square master is very important and it is impossible that the accuracy of a square measurement is superior to the accuracy of a square master. In this paper, the new method of square measurement is proposed for measuring square without a square master and easily. This method is an absolute measurement by using a reversal method and can be used to measurement the accuracy of a square master.

워터마킹은 소유권을 주장하기 위하여 '워터마크'라고 불리는 신호를 눈에 보이지 않게 영상에 첨가하는 것이다. 본 논문에서는 웨이브릿 변환 영역에서 이웃한 계수 쌍의 차이와 평균을 이용한 워터마킹 기법을 제안한다. 제안한 방법에서는 영상을 1계층의 웨이브릿 변환 영역으로 변환한 다음, 이진 도장 영상으로 된 워터마크를 첨가할 이웃한 계수 쌍을 기저 대역에서 선택한다. 워터마크 첨가를 위하여 도장 영상의 이름이 새겨진 부분에 대하여 해당 웨이브릿 계수 쌍의 대소 관계를 반전시킨다. 이러한 방법은 워터마크를 직접 첨가하는 방법에 비하여 손실 압축 및 다양한 영상 처리 등의 공격에 강인하다. 또한 대소 관계를 반전시키는 과정에서 이웃 계수 쌍의 평균과 차이를 구하여, 차이에 반비례하는 일정한 값을 평균에 더함으로써 주관적인 화질의 저하를 줄인다. 실험 결과 제안한 방법은 44 dB 정도의 우수한 화질에서 손실 JPEG 압축, 잡음 첨가, 클리핑, 블러링 등의 공격에 강인함을 알 수 있었다.

The selective encryption scheme for canonical Huffman codes using the inversion of bit values is proposed. The symbols are divided into blocks of a certain size, and each symbol in the block is compressed by canonical Huffman coding. Blocks are determined to be sent in the original code or encrypted form. The encryption block inverts the values of the whole bits, and bits of block that do not encrypt are not inverted. Those compressed data are transmitted with the encryption information. It is possible to decrypt the compressed data on the receiving side using the encryption information and compressed data.

Inverted papilloma is a rare benign tumor which usually arises from sinonasal mucosa. We experienced a case of 62-year-old male who presented with foreign body sensation in throat. A round mass was found at right false vocal cord in laryngoscopic examination. It was excised in laryngeal microsurgery. The pathologic diagnosis was inverted papilloma of false vocal cord. Recurrence or complication did not occur during the follow up period of three months.

단어 필터링 기법의 개발에 있어서 가장 큰 난제는 정상단어를 금지어로 인식하여 이를 차단하는 오탐지 문제이다. 이를 방지하기 위하여 다양한 문장에 대한 면밀하고 광범위한 검사가 필수적이나 일반적으로 쉽게 접근할 수 있는 데이터는 주로 단어 위주로 구성된 검증 데이터로 문장 또는 구절로 구성된 데이터의 양은 실제 검증에 활용하기에는 충분하지 못하다. 본 논문에서는 웹에서 수집한 방대한 양의 말뭉치 데이터에 반전역정열(Semi-Global Alignment)을 적용하여 주어진 금지어가 사용되거나 금지어와 유사한 단어가 존재하는 구간을 탐색함으로써 단어 필터링 시스템에서 범용적으로 사용될 수 있는 문장형 평가 데이터를 수집하는 시스템을 제안하고 해당 기법을 통하여 수집한 문장 단위 데이터를 분석하고 단어 필터링 시스템이 오탐지 방지를 위해 가져야할 요소들에 대하여 검토해 본다.
